"Thanks" I nodded at Boris for patching up my wound, "It's just a scratch, it won't slow us down." When I got up, I felt horrific pain going through my whole body... no, that wasn't the bullet which hit my shoulder - it was the effect of the wounds from the fight with the winged beast; they were still far from healed. However, I clenched my teeth behind the gas mask and got back up. I had to resist and I could not let my injuries slow down the whole group.

We waited only a few minutes for Benjamin and Steven to return, and when they did, we saw that Steven was moderately injured. I asked Benjamin if he could help him walk and without waiting for an answer, as if I was in a hurry, I turned to Boris, pointed at the officer and spoke "Alright, what do we do with this scum? Do we have to bring him to University or do we get all the details from him beforehand?" I looked at the officer, who was still lying in pain on the floor, touching his destroyed kneecaps and staring with tears in his eyes and screaming at his right hand that had no fingers left whatsoever. I felt terrible for a moment. After all, we wounded him immensely and if he was going to survive anything, he would be left disabled for life. Also, the sight of his fingers getting chopped off by my own knife sent a shiver down my spine.

"Can you walk?" I asked the officer calmly. He was Nazi slime (all too human) but I felt a little sympathy for him because of the terrible injuries. He was severely maimed. He stopped screaming for a moment and then, struggling to form words, he shouted: "You will not get anything out of me, you anarchist pricks!" Suddenly, he reached for his own knife with his left, functional hand. The Nazi threw himself at me in rage, using adrenaline to reduce pain and allowing himself to get up. But his disoriented reactions were slow, I quickly disarmed him and broke his arm. He screamed and fell to the ground again. I turned back to my comrades, "We need to decide quick, because if this asshole resists again, we'll end up killing him." I saw how Roach was looking at the man, so we had to get something out of him before he ended up in pieces from Roach's bullets.

A lump formed in my throat, watching a human being in such agony. I put my right forearm over my stomach, leaned my left elbow on it and closed my fist in front of my mouth automaticly, as if the lump was about to shoot out from it. "As already said, I do possess a tranquilizer. It would make the whole situation a lot more easy, even if we were to carry him. I suggest we get him to university and heal his physical wounds before going through with a more thorough interrogation" I said, still with my fist in front of my mouth.

Following that soldier i noticed another one coming inside the building i was in, he probably was looking for him, most likely an ally who came to him as he was very similar in gear as the other, sticking to the shadows i watched over the 2 soldiers, they knew each other, they were friends, then they left. I was silently taking cover behind some walls so that they wont see me. They met up with the others who had provided cover fire, one was badly wounded and that nazi officer had missing finger, he had it coming thought, in an attempt to kill one of the soldiers he tried to take out his knife but didnt had enough time, it ended up in his arm been broken by one of them. I followed closely watching their every movement in an attempt to find out where they are heading, they were heading for a station since they took the officer with them with those kinds of injuries so i followed them.

The Nazi officer was badly wounded, his hand... well, he didn't have what could be really called a hand anymore. "C'mon, people, lets just get back underground, we're in no condition to stay up here, on the surface". I found a long piece of steel which would be an excellent and sturdy crutch, and waited for the order to move. "Thanks, Benjamin. If you hadn't snapped me out of it back there... well, thanks".

    39 pages of pure awesome!

"Ok you know what Benjamin tranquilize him, much easier. And no were going to University which is probably another 6 hours from here. Well get there by night. And me and some University agents i know will perform the interrogation, Im sorry but you wont be allowed to do it becasue you will be new to University. but atleast your going to see and experience University. Not a lot of people get to see such a sight." I said looking at everybody as we began to move out. I was looking around making sure there were no more snipers hidden in the tall buildings and tenants.

"Ok, heres the plane again. we head west down that street over there for about 2 miles until we hit the river. Theres not a lot of mutants here so we wont have to worry about that. I have a float there set up so well just use it to get to Voyobroyri Gory station. The station is flooded so its the only way well get to University is by swimming through it. We can enter through the main University gates but there is a lot of radiation there so you need special suits only University has. Then we'll walk through the tunnel to university station. etc. etc." i said.

We began to walk and i said, "You know there is a bunker below the university built there before the war. Its used by university too and is connected to the tunnels. Its used for military purposes."

We began walking for 5 minutes or so until we approached the exit of the building downstairs cautiusly. I told Benjamin to "paralyze" the officer. We kept on with out pace until i stopped everybody and saw a man standing behind the door. I took out my AK and pointed it at him. Waitng for an answer...

As soon as I saw what was going on, I reached for my Tokarev and pointed it at the stranger. Then I realized he had no Fourth Reich symbols or swastikas anywhere on his gear. I realized that the man didn't have any hostile intentions, so I slowly lowered my weapon. There had been too much bloodshed today, and even if he did turn out to be a Nazi scout, I was actually thinking of letting him go. I turned to Boris, "It's alright, he's not one of them," then walked closer to the man so that I could see his face clearly. I asked him: "Who are you and what were you doing here so close to the Nazi gathering?"

As most of you have probably realized, it has been a while since I posted in the other areas of the forum. I want to apologize for abandoning most of the threads, I just don't have enough time lately; so I come back at times to post something in this role-play.

I guess that will be you, Vlad. And remember, Bamul, he's wearing a gas mask, just like everyone else :p

With no hesitation to release the poor traitor from his suffering, I discreetly took out my tranquilizer, shot a syringe into his chest and put it back into my belt before the man slowly fell asleep. I quickly took out a bandage that I wrapped around his fingers that now were gone, and his kneecaps, to keep him from bleeding to death, and to prevent any blood from dripping onto my coat. All my belongings were highly valuable to me, seeing that I had no more cartridges left, and they were the only clothes I had at the time being. I bendt down and lifted the officer up, putting him on my shoulders sideways so his stomach was laying against my neck. I stabilized the paralyzed body by holding his arms in my right arm and his legs in my left arm on the sides of my head. Luckily, he was not such a heavy person, so I would easily carry him the while. I wondered a little bit at how we would get him through the swimming-part, but 'everything at its time' I thought to myself as I looked over at the stranger outside of the building, looking back at us through his gasmask. This man clearly seemed like a fearless soul, stepping right out in front of people just like that. People like us.
I felt that I had done little to help my comrades in the flames of battle. I felt like a coward. But at the same time, I felt pride because of it. All the men that had died today. People with wives, children, families. All sleeping in their cold graves. They fell for a good cause, though. And I felt proud for helping the cause without ending any lives. Separating a soul from its body simply was not me.

I'm a Nazi here to kill of you because of that awsome show you pulled out a while back...still in one piece also, thats a feat haha, my name is Vladimir, "Joker" if you whant to call me like that, and i think u guessed out why, im...well was part of the Spetsnaz before the nukes hit groundside and we all ended up in this mess, we kinda deserved it tho no offence, anyways id like to help you on your mission, whatever that is, and i think you could use an extra hand since you used alot of your ammo in that firefight, here one cartrige for each of you, your as good as dead if you cant shoot your gun, you will end up throwing it at an enemy hoping it will give you time to kill him or run if you prefer that, so where to?
One last thing, my preference is medium to long range stealthy combat if you whanna use me.

*edit* Wrote some additional stuff :)

I could not help it to chuckle at this man's irony. I reached out my palm and allowed him to throw me a cartridge. I would usually not accept such treats, but at that time, I was desperate. "I show you my greatest grattitude for your merciful sharing of life" I said honorably through my S10 gasmask with the tinted lenses. I looked over at Boris and Wolf, wondering if they would let this man with us. He would have to prove trustworthy somehow.

Sorry, I completely forgot about the gas masks for a while. lol

The stranger seemed alright. Although he would have to earn our trust, we first had to give him a chance to prove himself. Besides, rejecting his helping hand in our situation was stupid. And he was right - we were getting short on ammo. I looked at Vlad and spoke, "Well, it seems we are lucky today if you really want to help us, because we're going to need all the help we can get. I'm glad to meet you Joker, they call me Wolf." I shook his hand. Whilst everyone else greeted him, I removed my air filter and put in place a new one.

"Sure, just dont get any funny ideas. I take this seriously. Technically im supposed to be on this mission by myself. But i decided to posse up some company. My names Boris, we can introduce ourselfs throughly later. Just remind me, joker, is it? Right now we have to keep moving, our task is far from over." I began walking out the door and the group followed me outside. it was getting dark, which is good. And we began to walk. There, it seemed, werent any snipers to worry about so we began to walk.

    5 minutes passed

    then later 15

then finnaly, 28 minutes after we began walking west down the dusty cold road next to the tall building that were previously inhabited by people. We arrived at The River. I searched a little bit unitl i found the raft covered with planks. It was good as new.

"When we're on the bout floating down the river keep an eye out for "Dlinih" (In a russian story i read a Dlinih is a large worm like creature with a big mouth with teeth and no eyes. It swims in lakes and rivers but is harmless. Frightening people with it scary looks.). Dont worry they wont attack you unless you shoot. Unless you wanna end up in ones stomach i reco nyou dont do that. They are the only living things for the next 5 miles down the river. No mutants live here. Not even rats." i said unloading the boat.

I along with Wolf pulled the boat into the water. and tossed our stuff in. I took a light from my bag and lit a small fire candle developing a small light. I got in waiting for the others to respond. The trip would be long. About 1.5 to 2 hours to the flooded station. I felt like getting to know Joker better.

Oke Boris, and your right its not safe here the Reich will probaby try to hunt us down after what you guys have done to that caravan, Ill watch yo ass. We walked continuously for about half and hour or so untill we arrived at a river, Boris was seqarching for something and he found it, a raft, hidden under some planks, i helped him lift them up so that we can go onto it. Once in it we went on the river, this will take a while though i get the feeling something is watching me, nontheless I think i will have to introduce myself properly to the group, i just waited for them to ask (whilst in the Spetsnaz we were trained to answer only when asked, habits dye hard heh). While Boris was talking about this Dlinih i spoted something disturbing the water, i didnt get a clear look at it though so i just ignored it...maybe its just my mind playing tricks on me.

The boat was quite impressive. I took off my backpack, put it, along with the officer's body, in the boat and layed back in the rear end of it. Listening to another shortened life-story would be interesting, and calming down from the pressure of stress would be satisfying.

Btw, are we underground now, so we can take off the gasmasks, or are we still going to have to wear them? o:

I jumped in the boat in relief, since my leg was screwed and I wasn't a very good swimmer. I sat at the back, and double-checked my ammo. Two mags left. Good enough, but I'd have to be careful. "How deep is this water?" I asked, looking over the side, hoping that we wouldn't encounter the beasts Boris had spoken of.
