"Chris, it's okay! You're alright". The man seemed to be in shock, and I couldn't see why. My crazy ruse had got us past the guards, and here, right where they could hear us he was yelling. I looked around, "Michael, what happened?"

"I don't know! He just...," I managed to spit out, trying to stuff down my confusion, and to stifle my panic, steadily increasing as the voices of the guards grew louder. I managed to regain my composure, and put my hand on Chris's shoulder, wishing I could understand. "We gotta get out of here."

Nice to have you Thuner. And it is cool how we're writing a narrative, Ghost.

"Agreed, Michael". I stumbled to my knees and took off into the ruins and signalled for everyone else to run, whilst running I shouted "unless your head is bullet-proof, start running!".

Running quickly, my breathing harsh and tasting bitter after the recent chase, I followed Chris. As we entered the roofless walls, with the windows shattered long ago, I thought I caught movement just outside. I turned and covered the door with my Kalash. "If ever you go to the surface, always cover your rear", someone had once told me. The guards wouldn't dare follow, not into this barren wasteland. But I was sure someone else was out there.

The light was bright, incredibly so, like all of the metro-lights burning together. Even under my shaded gas mask I was a little blinded.

Again and again I continued the process of circling the torch three times clockwise. I had been certain there had been figures moving among the ruins...maybe I had made a mistake. Mistakes up here on the surface were rarely if ever forgiven. I cast a brief look behind myself into the relative safety of the gloomy room from which I had emerged. On the floor where I had left him was my motionless mentor. It was only my 3rd trip to the surface. It wasnt going the way I had ever planned. Maybe these men, these stalkers could offer me assistance. I sure as hell wouldnt make it back alone...nevermind alive.

@Streff: Thanks! :)
@Jacketman: Well I've done some RP with some friends, and heck that is fun! :D

I had been watching the people from a distance, as a third man appeared and join the others. The man who almost got crazy, Chris if I heard it right, had sobered up from his confusion. They said something, I couldn't really hear it clearly, but I cought another name while they'r talking: Michael, the man who was with Chris at the first place.
They began to run away from there, so I followed them, just to see what they were up to.
We got to an old ruin, wich I cannot really say what it had been before, but I recognized it, as some sort of educational building, or maybe an office.
My memory of the old times rushed into my head, when I was younger and still up living upon the surface....

Faces of people I knew, wich had past along with so many others that day; Places that have been ruined, and long forgotten....

I dried away the tears from my face, and tried too keep my focus on what I was doing.

To set the mood:

I slowed down, panting and gasping for breath. I said "How exhilarating" as Michael came in tho the ruin, closely followed by Steven. I looked out the hole where we had came in and i was shocked to discover two shillouetted figures coming towards our building. A few almighty bangs went off as I fired three warning shots into the air, "halt, or ill blow both of your asses back to the metro". Steven and Michael thought I was crazy again until they noticed the figures too. "both of us?" one of the men said as he turned around and noticed the man behind him. The two figures then both drew their guns on each other. I said "this could get interesting".

Lol ghost, now you've given me a difficult one! xD

I didn't notice the man that was behind me. It was really weird, Im used on hearing everything, but how did he get there? And most of all, what was his intentions?
I had drawn my Hellsing rifle, and was pointing it at his head. I could hear my own breathing very clear.
"Who are you?", I asked as gently as I could.
It might have come out in the wrong way, but I was just hoping that he would understand and - hopefully - not shot me.

Its a roleplaying thread. Its like making up a story as you go along. Its a lot of fun! First you introduce yourself, and then you just roll with it.

I held my revolver on the two new figures and said " Lets just calm down, and put our guns away. Here, I'll go first!" I slowly lowered my revolver back into its holster, praying I wouldn't be repaid with lead.

I lowered my Kalash, following Michael's example. Getting killed wasn't really my thing, and I wanted to get going as soon as possible. The surface was terrifying, so white, and cold, and there was no roof! There was just an open pace which didn't end, just like people said. "Okay people, lets all get under cover here", I said, trying to sound calm, "None of us are mutants, let's talk it over and then get moving".

I popped in a fresh mag into my kalash, aimed down its shiny, recently polished sights and pulled the trigger. An almighty bang echoed throughout the dead city. The others stared at me in absolute disbelief as the second man violently dropped to the ground with such force as if he was tackled by a huge man. The second I did that I saw three weapons being pointed at me. The others just stared at with an indescribable expression on their faces.

Pause for dramatic effect! and yes I did just do that >: )

Moments later I proceeded to say '''the force of a dead howlers corpse hitting you at full speed would knock anyone over''. The others realised that I had indeed shot a howler and its corpse tackled the second stranger to the ground. We then saw the second man come to his feet. As he came towards us we prepared a firing line as the howls of some more mutants came from across the street. The second man, covered in blood joined the firing line, I said "sorry about that" whilst having a big cheeky grin on my face. I then shouted "shoot anything that moves, ok". The others responded with acknowledging nods.

lol stuff happens quickly here! :O
btw, welcome Ashtrax. Nice intro :)

I had gotten up after the tackled me down. My whole body felt tender after that creature hit me. Heck my senses was getting worse. Must be the radiation, or something, I thought.
Anyway, I had still not get to know who the guy that appeard behind me was, and now we all was defending ourselves against, what could be, a horde of howlers. Heck, Im beginning to like these guys already, even though I barley know anyones name yet!
I put myself a littlebit more behind my newly met comrades, and started to pump up my hellsing gun.
"thanks alot for saving me from that howler, stranger. By the way, my name is Mark Fedoseev."

"Good of you to join us Mark" I said. "I hope I haven't spoiled your day."

Also i thought Steven, Michael and Chris (me) were in the building followed by thuner who is followed by ashtrax or vice versa with thuner and ashtrax. It was intended that whoever got man handled by the howler was standing furthest away so as not to mention there is someone even futher away like what thuner just said. Just some advice.

Too scared to even question who these men were nevermind their purpose on the surface I followed them without hesitation, hell, I had no choice. The run in with the howler brought me crashing back to reality and I fumbled into a small holster. The beautifully handcrafted leather holster was far more glorious that its occupant, a small nondescript 5 round pistol. A weapon like this was never meant to win wars or decide a battle, merely to protect its owner at their most dire moment. This most certainly seemed a fitting time to introduce myself to it I thought, quietly loading my only 5 rounds into their chambers.

We had quietly left the forlorn body of my would be mentor behind. A life cut short prematurely...needlessly. I had only ventured into Moscow three times, each lasting an eternity...each enough for one man to stomach for a lifetime. This time was different, all previous expeditions had been for items of need such as simple firewood or to look in vain among the remnants of long abandoned shops yet this time it was for pure profit. My mentor, Yuri, had a young daughter taken ill suddenly. His mindset completely befuddled by grief and worry he had reckoned the only way to afford medicine for his child was to get cold hard currency. He got wind of a nearby station master who had a taste for fine drink with plenty of cartidges to burn on such indulgences too. Thus, the plan was formed and we trawled all the liqeur stores, without success. He met his demise at the hands of some foul beast hidden

In a recess deep inside one store. But that was the past, the future was mine and I was always told to 'fear the future'. But with companions surrounding me so heavily armed and with a fire in their eyes, I was in the best of company and would entrust myself to them.

(sorry for the double posting and it all messing up, cant get onto my laptop atm. Will try post as often as possible but I will prob the 'strong quiet type'. Hope this suits!)

Nice, Ghost Warrior, just when we sit down for a nice chat, too! :) Good work everyone, and sorry about your friend, Ashtrax.

It amazed me how a group of complete strangers could become allies so quickly. I took a post at the window, looking behind me very few seconds just in case. A howler sprinted past, and I put three rounds into it's head. I forced myself not to clamp down on the trigger, since that would prove inaccurate and wasteful. Instead, I shot in concise bursts, always scanning the rubble-heaped wasteland of our city, Moscow.

I set up next to Steven, covering any area he wasn't already looking in. I carefully shot two howlers as the ran through the open. Like Steven, I would glance behind me, at the door and into the deeper recesses of the building to make sure they didn't get behind us somehow.
