Metro Roleplaying part 1

As i saw him kill everyone i was shocked and i thought to myself, "not bad kid." Then i noticed a nazi guard jump out from behing him and was about to stab. However i reached out for my ak and shot a few rounds into his back...That was the last of them...

 

When Boris shot I thought it was at me until I heard the scream of pain behind me, my reflexes kicked in and I turned around stabbing the Nazi in in the chest,he let out a small whimper before collapsing dead on the floor, I then turned to Boris."thanks."I said before looking at the dead bandits and then at the dead nazi."What the hell was a nazi doing with a bunch of bandits!?"I asked Boris baffled.

 

I came close to the nazi and observed his lifeless body. I took some spare ammo and some other stuff i found usefull. I observed some more until i found a small note folded many times and put in a pocket. I read it to myself.

By order of the Nazi Reich -
We will be ordering a operation to travel on the surfice to other metros of russia, poland, and germany to spread our glorious reich. Whoever is carrying this note must make sure it gets into the hands of Jannes Gluknin, the leading officer of the reich, safely.

"Thats for the officer i was trying to assasinate, so thats what university was looking for," i said quietly. My companion looked at me with surprise. "We have to go back to the other," i said briefly. And we left...

 

As we walked back I was still trying to think of a good reason that a nazi would be with a group of bandits,I turned to Boris and asked."What do you think, was he taken prisoner or maybe there's some kinda secret partnership between the two faction..."

 

i answered him politely, "maybe he just ran into them?" either way we have to show this letter to the others." "I still need to kill the officer." i said looking at the note. I gave the note to him.

 

We heard screams and gunshots in the distance. I told everyone to grab their rifles and slowly start moving towards the source of all that noise. I was keeping my cool, but inside my head, I was stressed out. I held my Kalash tightly even though there were no bullets in the clip; I was hoping that whoever just slaughtered our team mates ahead would be threatened by my weapon and posture without realizing that I was completely dry on ammo. Thankfully, the others were following me and they had plenty of bullets in case something went wrong.

We walked like this, slowly, hearing more noises... And then we stopped; two armed silhouettes were approaching. They were met with our guns pointed at their heads. It took us a few seconds to realize that these guys were actually Boris and Roach. "Don't shoot, everyone! These are our guys." I shouted to the others, lowering my weapon. I turned back to Boris & Roach, "Are you guys alright?" I asked them. After a brief explanation of what had transpired, I spoke to Roach, "I think we should get moving to your hideout, before we encounter more trouble. Besides, you said you have a lot of reserve ammunition there... to be honest, I need some bullets badly."

 

"Yeah we need to rest," I said briefly.

 

"Sure, you guys ready?" everyone nodded "good lets get moving" we set of,it took about 11 minutes to get to mine, when we got there I opened the door to the maintenance room there was ok condition coaches, a nice camp fire, chess board and a set of cards and hooked up on the wall above one of the coaches was my pride and joy my barret 50., when wolf and the rest saw this there jaws dropped hypnotized by the gun hooked to the wall. but that wasn't it I opened a separate door which had 15 cardboard boxes filled to the brim with military grade ammo. I swear wolf almost fainted...

 

"Wow, nice quote on quote armory," i laughed. "But where the hell did you get a 50. cal from? Those are from the states. Or....were from the stated before the war."

 

" i'v traveled allot around the surface, one day I came across and old military compound, inside I found parts for a fifty cal and all that ammo it took awhile to move it but it was worth it. I also found a crate of fifty cal ammo, it took allot of bullets and time to repair but I got there in the end." I said with a smirk.

"wow, lucky find i guess," i answered, "were was the compound at?" i laughed. Then i continued, "lets sit down and relax. get some time to know each other." We all sat down on the couches and took of our bags and accessories. "Hey mind if i play the guitar?" i asked. Wolf grabed the guitar and gave it to me, "sure" he said. Everone was surprised on how i could play it.

 

While playing i began the conversation. "So where are you guys headed? And what are you up to? As you all know im hired by the university stations to hunt down a nazi officer. What about you guys?" Before the others could introduce themselfs and give their brief bio i remembered something. "Hey Roach," i said, "hand me the note i gave you in the tunnel before." He gave it back to me and i read it to everybody in the room.

I asked Steven, "What do you think this means? Are they actually gonna try to go to Germany on the surface? Anyway i still have to find the officer and interoggate him. To find out about the nazi plans." Then i continued, "you know, this might seem wierd because i barely know you guys but......would you wanna join me on my mission to find the officer and find out about their plans?"

 

"I don't see why not,what about you guys? I have no idea what your plans are still,we didn't talk much after I saved your asses from those mutants."I said.

 

From behind the doorcrack, I was surprised to get a full and short summary of their situation, and especially Boris'. His qualifications within finger movements at the guitar revoke old memories in me that made me stay for a little longer, though I already knew what I needed to know.

 

I was starting to get tired after all it had been a pretty long day."well i'm gonna hit the sack, see ya all in the morning"I said walking towards a door."oh the spare beds are in that room,there's ten single beds so take ya pick,night." I pointed at a door on the far side of the room before walking into my privet room and shutting the door.

 

"I think ill stay for a while. I didnt really fight today. And only killed one living thing," i laughed. I put the guitar down and took out a pair of cards. We began to play poker for cartridges. "So you guys still wanna join me? Roach is okay with the fact of helping me find the nazi officer. However," i smiled," we need to teach him about stealth." Eveyone laughed. And Steven said, "Eh hes alright." we smiled.....

 

As the one, appareantly going by the name Roach, pointed at the door to the sleeping quarters, I was glad that I had chosen to wait outside of the hideout and wait for them to enter and then watch them from the entrance door instead of waiting in the sleeping quarters. As Boris put down the guitar, my mind was re-focused, and I left the hallway.

I was hoping that whoever just slaughtered our team mates ahead would be threatened by my weapon and posture without realizing that I was completely dry on ammo. Ha ha, I've actually done that before, in a game of paintball!



I slumped down on the sofa, sighing in relief. It was good to rest, so much had happened! The guitar music was relaxing, too, quick tunes, some of which I had never heard before. As everyone talked, I took out my kalash and dismantled it, giving it it's fortnightly clean. Boris (?) asked me what I thought of the Nazi message. I shrugged, "Hell, I don't know... My father said the Nazi regime ended in Germany over 60 years before... before the nuclear war up there. But these... these new-nazis are a problem."

I took out my cigarettes (I don't actually smoke, btw!) and shaking one out, offered the pack to the others.
