Metro Roleplaying part 1

I wasn't going to waste Roach's generosity so I took as many clips of bullets as I could. I was still a bit surprised by just how much ammo he had at this place. I guess that's one of the good points about settling down somewhere; I keep moving from one place to another, cleaning up the Metro system of Nazi slime and trying to make a living. When I find a stash of valuable items, I pick up as many as I can carry and the rest has to stay. I thought to myself: Maybe I should get a hideout myself, so I could store all kinds of useful stuff in it. Without dwelling for too long on that thought, I sat back down and took one of Steven's cigarettes without hesitation. I lit it up, "Thanks, it feels good to sit down and have a smoke after the last two days of running & shooting." I told Steven. Then I turned to Boris, "Like I said before, I'm all for killing fascist scum. I'd gladly assist you in slaying this officer. I won't ask for payment, I enjoy killing these bastards but I must know where this asshole is at and where we'd be headed next."

 

"Yeah", I said, "I actually came on this journey with a guy called Chris, he was gonna pay me when we got to where he was going... but he's gone. He stayed on the surface, and the last we saw he was facing a horde of howlers. ("horde of howlers", ha ha!) So basically, I'm free for hire, I'm willing to work for twenty bullets with food and ammo." I smiled, hoping that I wasn't asking too much.

 

Whilst the others started conversing again, I joined in with the music. I put my hand in my pocket and took out a harmonica. Took a sip of some pre-blast vodka from my flask and said: "This is rare stuff you know, very hard to find. Here, you should try it," I passed the alcohol around the group. Then I began playing some catchy melodies on my harmonica.

 

I turned to wolf and said," well apperantly the university stations are are trying to find this nazi officer because hes leading a operation. Hes in a Hansa station at the southern tip of the moscow metro. The operation will include a group of nazis heading over to the St. Petersburgh, Berlin, and Warsaw metro systems and making them into nazi metros. They will walk on the surfice by the way. And apperently University wants me....i mean us," i smiled, " to catch this officer, interrogate him, and get the info on how we can get to those metro stations in the most safest way. Then when we do that, university will send out a expedition to these cities to unite the inhabitats together." i sighed, "i think they want to start over" "to make a new beggining for everybody" "for humans"............"Oh and Steven. Ill give you 10 cartridges, and 10 only..." I laughed, "or else you stay here?" he looked at me suspiciously while i smiled.

Little did the men know they had talked all through the night,I decided to teach them that I didn't need to be taught stealth. I quickly put on my stealth suit and slowly walked out the door and jumped on an old water pipe,none of them noticed, I crawled along the pipe slowly until I was directly above Boris.I let my arm's go and I swung down,putting my arms around Boris's neck,every one was shocked they grabbed for there guns but I let go and dropped down chuckling."god fucking damn it,you scared the shit out of me!!"Boris said breathing heavily, he still managed to smile though."still think I need to be taught stealth?" I asked them with a grin.

 

Hey, you forgot about me; I joined not that long ago too. My character goes by the name of Wolf. We've met this guy who was sent out by the University, called Boris (BORIS13's character). He is on a mission to assassinate a Nazi officer of the Fourth Reich, to stop him before he spreads Nazism into the German and Polish tunnels. By the way, guys, since I'm Polish I think I'll make my character of both Polish ad Russian descent - to make this mission more personal. xD

 

I lowered my rifle, "That was nice Roach! I think you're definitely just as good as Boris. You guys will make great scouts, ya know. You'll be able to sneak up on unsuspecting enemies and take out sentries before anyone else realizes." I smiled to them. Then I put away my harmonica and weapon to the side, "Now back to business." I turned to the whole group and spoke, "So we will be heading onto the surface? That's alright, I've got plenty of filters left for my gas mask. If any of you run out, I can share. And I've definitely made my mind up now, I won't let these bastards spread the fascist cancer into other metros." I lifted my fist up with confidence.

"I'm not sure if anyone survived in the other underground tunnels, and I guess neither do the Nazis. But if someone has actually survived, we don't know what state they are in and how bad it is for them over there. If the Nazis get to them with food, medicine and ammunition supplies; they will most definitely get them to join their cause out of desperation for survival... we can't let that happen... We can't let the fascists succeed!" Everyone else in the group looked at me in silence for a few moments. Most of these men took this as an assignment, a good way to get paid and find additional supplies. I didn't hold it against them, everyone's got to make a living somehow, but it was much more personal for me.

To break the awkward silence; I stood up, packed my things and said: "I'm gonna get some sleep, and I suggest everyone else who plans on going with Boris, Roach and I get's some rest too. I think it'll be best if we leave in the morning." I walked over to one of the beds, put my things near it and lay down. It only took me a minute or so to dive into a deep, dreamless slumber. After over 30 hours without sleep, I was finally resting.

 

"excellent,I will finally be able to use this"I said excited. I walked over to the barret 50. taking it of its hooks,I looked it over once before checking the clip,it was full. "ooh this is gonna be fun. I said with a smirk.

 

"Yes we should get some rest, I recon tomorow i believe we should go to enter hansa and move south to their southern stations, find that officer of mine. Then we get the info we need, and ill take you guys to university, if you want offcourse, and then from there on well talk about the other metros." i said briefly before concluding, "Well im gonna go get some sleep too, and Roach....youll deffinetly need that sniper, just make sure you get a silencer, i prefer stealth." I left the room passing by Roach and pushed him with a friendly gesture. He looked at me a we laughed. "Goodnight, cya tomorow."

 

"well,I don't have a silencer for this but on the surface I can spot targets,see I got a few radios we can use so I can tell you where they are....but if you guys do get spotted I can go loud.They wont last long."I said.I gave him a friendly nod as he walked into the bedroom.

 

We should have a narrator?

because its hard to tell the story and seems that a narrator would be a good idea

 

But this is role play not a story and I think it would make it more confusing,lets see what the others say.

 

That's quite a good idea, but I'll have to agree with Craneum and say that it'd be a little confusing.

 

I think it's much more interesting to tell the story from different points of view.

 

Roach's little game made me realize I had to keep my eyes open. I had already been attacked from behind once, and I still hadn't learned to always check the surroundings. One of these days I would be too slow, or just too dumb, and BAM! I'm dead. It was frightening, but it taught me a lesson.
To the soft music of the guitar, I went to bed. I took my knife and held it in my hand, and placed my bag so that one strap came under my pillow. Hopefully any movement would wake me. I had a feeling we were being watched...

I woke up the next day at exactly 6 : 13 am. I got up and got some breakfast from my bag, it was oatmeal. Everyone else was asleep. For now. I took my AK and my Revolver and cleaned it quitely in the main room. Got some ammo, loaded it and got ready for the day. Today we were gonna go to the southern most station on the Hansa line and find that officer. It was gonna be a busy day.....stealthy too......
