    The base version shouldn't have gun implemented. There are mods are introduce guns. Someone above stated that we already have gunpowder in the game, but I think a cannon would be more fitting to it.

    I don't think Minecraft and guns mix. Minecraft seems like its meant to be a very close up game in terms of combat. It would make sense though with the presence of gunpowder though.

    Eh let's leave guns to mods. I like not having them in the game. Just personal preference.

    If you really want guns in minecraft that bad, you can get any of the many gun mods out there. If guns really were added to vanilla it would take away from the core of what minecraft is.

    I think it would be awesome to be able to make makeshift guns. Not bows or anything, but some kind of projectiles other than bows and such!

    I'd prefer to not have guns. I like it just the way it is, as far as killing the creatures. I want a little bit of a challenge.

    There's already guns. They're called bows. Like, literally, they fire projectiles pretty damn fast in minecraft terminology. That is a gun to me. I guess you'd classify it with bullets and being rapid fire, but I can rapid fire my bow if I'm good about it.

    So, we already have guns. /thread.

    There is already a game like that and it's called Unturned. And also there are many servers out there that has mods with guns and stuff.

    Oh yes, a cannon. That would blow. You can already make cannons, though, with redstone and other stuff, but it's not really one item. A single item would be great to have.

    Minecraft with the witches and the armor? I would absolutely despise the use of guns in Minecraft. That's why we have swords and bows! What I like about minecraft is the feeling of an RPG it has to it. The enchanting and hunting down monsters, it's all an amazing example of minecrafts perfect design. I'm sure some mod user who can't appreciate the game for what it is would use guns, but I personally can't picture minecraft with guns! It just doesn't suit the style of the game in general! ;)

    I concur with Devon. It would just change too much too quickly. We already have bows which are our projectile weaponry, or throwing potions. We don't need guns unless they're peashooters and just used for fun in PVP.

    I could use a grappling hook, though. Just for the heck of it. It doesn't even have to work. I just want it for style points.
