    When and Where did he say this?

    I'm sorry but if a simple thing as a FOV slider is being implemented so late into the game even after it has been delayed twice, then what other ESSENTIAL things have they left out?

    Yes, a FOV slider is ESSENTIAL and not DESIRABLE.
    Someone give Huw a copy of Dead Island or Metro and show how bad a game is without it.

    He should really post here or on enterthemetro. Otherwise how else is he supposed to read criticisms and give feedback?

    NeoGaff out of all the places is where he posts :pop2:, if it was Reddit I'd understand. I guess Neogaf is pretty huge then?

    Majnu A fov slider takes about 20 minutes to implement. That's proablly why it's not there yet :)

    Most likely they will add it but if it isn't something game breaking (like the gameplay or story) then it's saved for the end. Things like an FOV slider are saved till the very end.

    I know shure fire. This isn't something that will require tons of debugging. It's just changing the view of the char.

    They will be able to be turned off. We know 4A they won't be like that. The reason they would put them there is to help with the CoD fanboys. Never really understood why we need hitmarkers since we can see blood pouring from the guy and see him fall to the ground.

    Hoen we can turn off the hud even on easy!
    I doubt they would make hitmarkes mandatory while we have no hud :p

    I know as I did it too on my third playhtrough of the game, but you've gotta agree that the custom FOV was far from perfect and quite awkward at times. I'd prefer a fully working version this time.
    I'm pretty sure we've already had two or three group rant sessions about it when the first gameplay vids with them started popping up. :p

    That's why I was surprised that nobody mentioned it here, I didn't see a option to turn it off, something many fans would like to see.

    It is imperative for me to not have the gigantic, immersion breaking pop-ups for me to pick something up, turn off a light, or cut a trip wire in the game. I hope we can turn those off.

    Hitmarkers and crosshairs are two completely different things. I don't think anyone on the forum ever doubted that we'd be able to turn off crosshairs, but we've had no news of hitmarkers being optional.
     
  19. Thanks Captains O., however I believe that turning off crosshairs turns off all functions associated with them in MLL, just as it did in M2033.

    ....and another thing that journal menu system looks too fresh and new. Metro is a dim. bleak environment and having a crisp and clean menu book like that looks a bit odd.
