    The Dictatorship of New metro is a tiny, devout nation, remarkable for its ban on automobiles. Its compassionate population of 14 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

    It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Social Equality. The average income tax rate is 45%, but much higher for the wealthy. A healthy private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Furniture Restoration.

    Cars are banned, the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, military spending is on the increase, and the government's religious works are headed by a New Age guru. Crime is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. New metro's national animal is the demon, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the bullets.

    My economy is going down the drain however.:eek:hwell:

    My nation is currently in the top 10% of the world for:
    • Most Eco-Friendly Governments
    • Nicest Citizens
    • Most Pacifist
    • Largest Public Transport Department
    • Largest Welfare Programs
    This is working out pretty nicely, considering the fact that there are over 3.5 million nations on Nation States right now. :D
