    I feel like the newer champions offer much more of a skillset than the older ones do. I mean Braum is still one of the most highly contested champion in ranked play, and for good reason too. He provides and setup plays and peels better than even Thresh. I can somewhat agree that Yasuo's wind wall somewhat is a degenerate skill, but seriously compare what champions are meta nowadays. It's mainly the more recent ones, like Yasuo, Syndra, Braum, Lucian and not the older ones like Taric, or Sion. There are exceptions like Morgana, Zilean, and such, but they're finding newer uses, like Morg support, or Zilean Mid.
