News on a New Metro Game?

    Most books piled with the general lore of the Metro Universe are based outside of the Dead City of Moscow.
    Most explore the possibility's and attempts of survival around the destroyed world.
    Although, I have also not read any of these expansions to the lore, despite the fact that they are technically officially apart of the entire Universe of 'Metro' as Dmitry Glukhovsky edged this books on-wards, and encouraged amateur writers to progress the story around where they personally lived.

    Although, As an active servicemen in the Red Line Army. I have found most of these literature to be false, Objectiving the Red Line as-...Evil...And ruthless killers and murderers who do not care for there troops...
    This is of course, Untrue portrayals of us...We value our men equally here...

    Many of them do, perhaps most like you say. Outside of Metro 2033 and Metro 2034, I have read only 8 books from the series; three of them were set in Saint Petersburg (Russia), one started off in Saint Petersburg but featured a journey all the way to Vladivostok (passing Yaroslavl and Kaspiysk along the way), another one was set during a journey from Rome to Venice (Italy), one in the Kaliningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation, one took place in Kraków (Poland), and the most recent one that I have read was set it Rostov-on-Don (Russia). However, there are plenty of other books in the Metro 2033 series that are set in Moscow - I know of at least three.

    I think there was one set in Scotland, from Glasgow to London...I haven't read it yet sadly. There's even one in Antarctica...holy shit, that would actually be pretty awesome.

    Indeed there is, it's called Британия (Russian for Britain), but I have not yet read it either.

    si, there will be a new metro game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This new Metro game will be radically different from the previous parts of the series, and Dmitry Gluhovski (author of both Metro novels and games) is once again writing the game’s script. While ITC was unable to talk more about it (due to NDA issues), it described the game as really impressive

    awesome! im very happy :)

    two years after metro 2033 there was already info and images about last light, there's been two years after last light and yet we still have no news nor images about the upcoming new metro game or the new interplanetary spacial shooter,

    maybe some of you know something that i don't?

    please share any news if you find

    Pretty sure the new game ended up being the redux games. Not sure about the space game though.

    the devs said that the new metro game will be totally diferent from the first two, so i think there is a third and "special2 metro game in development, i really hope so,

    To be honest, it would be too early to abandon this franchise. Literally there is no other game which has the same atmosphere. None. Not even Fallout.
    I would love to see some multiplayer spinoff stuff, be coop, or pvp. Let's say there is a death match going on the surface, you have to watch out for filters, mutants and ofcourse, your enemies.

    its not the post apocalyptic feeling that make metro is metro, its feel of dangerous both from the physical threat of mutant to the unknown horror like many metro supernatural phenomena. that eeriness is like the same level when you eccounter anomaly or poltygeist in stalker

    I'm pretty sure the space thing is a separate ip they're working on. In some interview 4a said they were working on something metro, and this space thing

    Once the trailer drops for the new Metro, that's when I'll get a next gen console lol
    I've been waiting so long because no game in 2015 really interested me much. But Metro is one I'd get a xbone/PS4 for.
