Well for gaming, it would be better on the console, since PCs are just for other things, and not particularly for gaming. Although PC games are cheaper, it's not as fun to play on the PC than on the console.

I prefer PC gaming in the long run it's cheaper and the experience is better the only thing that consoles have over PC gamers is they do have better exclusives and sometimes we PC gamers get bad ports, but I still prefer PC over console any day of the week!

I like PC because they have much better graphics and you can do much more on them. I used to be a console fan because of simplicity but now that I have a decent computer my console hasn't even been touched. Plus I don't need to worry about having to get the newest console every time one comes out. Yes, I may have to upgrade my computer but it just seems like a better investment.

I would be more inclined to say both, but I've been playing mostly PC games for the past few years. Consoles just keep getting more expensive and I don't have the wallet to keep up with it. With a PC, you just need to update a few parts every now and then, no big deal. The only reason I use consoles anymore is for the exclusives, which haven't been that appealing as of late. Plus, a lot of games are just better for the PC. First-person shooters is one example. Even some action/adventure games are better for PC because of the increased graphics. All you gotta do is plug in a USB controller.

I'd have to go with PC. There's just something natural about the keyboard and mouse setup.

I was never much good with the controller setup anyways. I blame the inordinate amount of time I spent with an NES controller while growing up. You kids, with your newfangled controllers with all the buttons, and joysticks, and doodads....

In my opinion, it depends what you're playing.. I prefer a console for some games while I prefer my PC for others. This being said, I'll have to pick "both".

I prefer PC no matter what the game is. Cheaper, upgradable, and better graphics/graphics performance! What's not to love about PC?

I definitely prefer the PC because I think the gaming experience is much easier on a PC - I mean all you need is your keyboard and a mouse and you can have many different hotkeys (whereas on the Xbox for example, the joypad only has a few keys). Also Il ike having my screen right in front of me so I can see what I'm doing, rather than having to look for a distance.

Well i like them both but i prefer consoles when it comes to gaming. The graphics will always be better and you don't have to constantly upgrade your system to support the latest games. But for the PC you have to spend loads of money in order to do that.

PC for me definitely. Games are cheap when on sale (Steam sales with newly released games on sale for less than 5 Bucks!) and the system is easy to upgrade (it's not even possible to upgrade on a console). Not only that, but PC gives me the ability to multitask and do whatever I want when I'm not playing games. Homework, movies, anime, research, you name it.

Depends on what the game is. I like when everyone can gather around each other and play, say "Dokapon Kingdom" (and have that then ruin friendships) because it gives us a level of interaction we wouldn't normally get just by playing PC games where we all focus on our own screens.

PCs are fine for personal or MMO games I think but when wanting to party with friends, consoles are the way to go.

    PC or console ....
The two platforms have their advantages and disadvantages.
Personally, I stay on console for now. Then I would go on but I will keep my PC consoles.

Some prefer the more controller than the keyboard. The controller is better for some games, but shooting games, the keyboard is the most accurate.

PC is much more complicated than console ... But I admit it's not as bad as the old days.

Console, it is not necessary to upgrade to play big games, but the graphics quality suffers.

You see? Each side has its advantages and shortcomings. So I voted for both.

I prefer a Console, PC are genuinely for just non-gaming uses, but console is built for gaming.
Although pc gaming can be much cheaper, I prefer the console.

    Why not both?

Well if I had to choose, I'll go for a PC. If you have the right specs a PC can play most games and they look better on a PC than a console most of the time because of better hardware. Plus, gaming is just one of the many things you can do on a PC.

I prefer PC gaming over consoles. PC is just superior to consoles in a lot of aspects. While consoles call themselves next gen. You have PC gaming which is always improving mounds and leaps.

I prefer console gaming. I know that gaming on the PC is better and cheaper but I still find consoles to be the most enjoyable option. I'm just used to the feel of a controller in my hand...

If I had to choose one it would defenitely be the PC.
It has a wider variety of games, it has the ability to emulate and it lets me play older games that I love.

I used to love consoles and grew up on an N64, but consoles gradually expanded the amount of things they could do into the territory of PC. In theory that sounds great, but it isn't when they do those things worse. This most recent generation are just a bunch of restricted PCs that don't do anything nearly as well as them.

Consoles used to be for playing games with your buds on the couch together. They also used to be way more convenient because the games came ready to go with no updates or troubleshooting needed.

Now hardly any console games support local splitscreen and almost every single game requires super lengthy updates, so what appeal is there anymore? Why would I pay extra just to play online in an inferior experience with no modding support when PCs do that for only the cost of the internet and electricity bill? Not to mention PCs save you way more money overtime because of how cheap the games are. If you like controllers, then simply plug a controller into a PC. TONS of games let you use them on PC.

These days, you couldn't PAY me to abandon PC and play only console. The appeal just isn't there anymore.

I strongly prefer PC over any console. Pretty much any game that's available on a console you can also play on PC via emulators or ports. For the price of a next-gen console I can build a PC with specs that are twice as good, and I'm not restricted to a UI that only allows me to do certain things. The only time I ever use a console is when I play Halo with my roommate, and that's not even that often. I find mouse and keyboard to be much more comfortable when playing any game, especially a FPS.
