PvP or PvM?

The mobs a re too dumb to have fun with. I prefer PvP battles. At least I have some challenge beating them.

 

It's called PVE lol. Anyway, I like both, but I probably prefer doing PVE with a bunch of friends. While PVP is fun sometimes and can lead to hilarious situations, Minecraft isn't really a PVP game, even if you use special modes. So yeah, I prefer PVE.

 

For me, this purely depends on what game mode I am playing in or what server I am in. In some server game modes, playing in factions for example, player versus player is a game mode that I absolutely love. But when I am taking apart in leisurely activity while working on building one of my finest structures, player versus player can definitely get annoying. Although, challenges are pretty fun. So whether another player is attacking me or a gigantic mob, both are equally just as fun.

 

They're both great in my opinion because sometimes player vs player just gets boring or you can have some bad days where you can never win no matter how much you try

 

I'm not a huge fan of PVP, it does depend on the circumstances.

For example, If I know it's PVP from the beginning, and they act like they have common sense, then I'm okay with it. But If I started a game to be a regular game, then i spend too much time acquiring Stuff and I hate it when I happen to be mining in the basement and someone comes over and pours lava onto my wooden house...

 

I like PvE not so much for the monsters but because I love having a relatively peaceful space to build things and explore. I love discovering how to make more complex and useful mechanisms for doing things around my base. Eventually I will have a lot of my farms either completely or semi automated. If I were playing online there's always some kind of requirement to do things with others, it can feel pushy. In PvE I can do things on my own time. Plus there aren't people booby trapping everything

 

I will take mobs over players any day. Mobs are way harder than having to play against players and Minecraft is one of the few games that this applies. The way to win PvP is to be able to click faster and have the best armor and enchants. That is all it is, BORING. Not like there is a way for me to roll out of the way of an attack.

 

I love both PVM and PVP.
Strictly for combat, pvp is a lot more fun, the monsters are predictable and much easier to defeat than another person.
But if I have lots of hours available, I much prefer to just spend some time building and not worrying about combat.

 

I prefer fighting against players, because fighting against monsters is too boring. I play Kitpvp on a server where you can fight other players, you just have to pick a good armor and you're ready to go!
It's difficult at first, but then it gets easier, because you can buy a good kit later.

 

I prefer to do PvE since I'm bad at PvP.

 

I like PvP it's like a challenge for me. But, I also like PvM when I'm alone. Either way I like playing Minecraft.

 

I mostly only do PvM, however, PvP can be fun at times.

 

I don't like PvP because sometimes it's just purely luck also there are a lot of hackers around which makes it really unfun. I like to kill monsters and bosses to take their loot. PvP is more rewarding but not worth the hassle.

 

Mobs, definitely. I do not like fighting against others. I just do not feel that was what the game was meant for, and PvP fighting can be quite boring. Working together to fight off mobs is very fun.

 

PvP is a lot more fun for me. I reckon its because it's more dynamic and unpredictable, while with mobs, its a lot easier and predictable and less challenging.

 

I personally like the survival PvE element of the game, I liked that ever since the first versions of minecraft, the whole idea of building your defences during daytime and then defending yourself against monsters at night. Its why I usually build my houses high up on the mountains to see my enemies clearly and be ready for anything. I also have ladders that lead me straight to the roof where I can also build a small defence structure against arrows and such.
