Each morning I appear
To lie at your feet,
All day I will follow
No matter how fast you run,
Yet I nearly perish
In the midday sun.

well i dont really understand the last sentence full meaning, but as far i understand it should be something like this:

Damm it i thought i was correct in this one to, but meh. Then i read your riddle like 10 times over and over again when i relized i missed the last sentence meaning: were I not a friend at hand. So now i realize that you can hold it in your hands, so i think it should something be with a car key or that think that opens locks (similar to lock pick but bigger) orsomething like that."And many in the street would stand"- the meaning of this sentence is when you forget your car keys and you are stuck o something, yes?
P.S. I prefer ice-cream.

P.S. PS. If im corect plz dont pay me bullets, i dont really deserve them, this riddles are kinda easy. Make harder ones

A man worked at a high security institution. The man tried to log into his computer and the computer denied the password. He then remembered that the passwords to the computers were reset every month for security reasons. He called his boss for his new password.

The man said, "Boss, my old password is out of date."

The boss said, "Yes, it is. The new password is different, but if you listen closely you will be able to figure out the new one. Your new password has the same amount of letters as the old one, and four of the letters are the same."

The man then logged into his computer with no trouble. What was the new password? What was his old?

I will be for a sec then would need to go for few hours. so i pictured your psot with my phone so i think i will do this on-the-go I think its not that hard if you think in the right way. in my opinion it should be something like: What battle Napoleon lost? A: His last one. Type of question but i cant say it right now, just i thought. If somepony cna do it faster than i can it would be great you hav about 2 hours

This is stupid xD tricky btw here it is: no new password, since both of the passwords have the same amount of letters, and 4 of the letters are the same. There can't be more letters than 4.
