It was quite surprising I admit when Alek privately disscused stealing these goods for the good of others, especially considering how young he was. But I suppose I still had to grasp the fact that like many of us here he grew up a lot harder than the most people in the Metro. He said that us communists should stick together, and I suppose that was true, but tough or not he's still a kid. Then again, if he wanted to get himself into a mess like this it would probably be best to let him see it through to the end as a sort of life lesson, no matter how it ended.

"Eager to help your fellow comrades eh? Well if your so interested why don't you explain to me how you plan to get all this, back to the line without anybody finding out huh? If you hatch a plan smart enough I might even throw a good word in for you with some of my best contacts on the Red line." I whispered privately to him without ever making contact, only pausing every few seconds to puff on my cigar.

"The surface." I look up to the roof to symbolise what I was talking about. " We revolutionaries have surface bases every mile or so. Most are isolated and hidden but they have motors to clean the air inside the base. If we can get the things to the surfacee, I can bring them to any part of the metro. Most are nothing but air-proof sheds, customized as an outpost to keep an eye on the Fourth Reich."

I reach into my jacket and pull out a small set of black and white photographs. Despite their grainy quality, they clearly showed the University in the distance, and a small outpost, with air filters. The several photos, depicted me, Nik and Lt Dmitri preparing to exit the outpost, turning off the filters and setting off to the University.

"The filters take about 20 minutes to clear the air inside, but they can run for hours on end. They're powered by whatever we can use; dynamo, solar, wind. The air inside their gets stuffy quickly, but at least you don't choke. Better than nothing."

I take out the map of the metro, like most of them, it showed all of the stations, but dotted around in red were each of the Revolutionary bases. They were around 20 or 30 dotted around Moscow.

"The nearest one is a about 30 minutes from were we first me you on the surface. Now, how to get all this stuff there. The way I see it, there is no way Joe can control the entire Emerald City. There must be areas where he has no control. Plus, the actual university is most likely abandoned. The metro below though, is what I guess he controls."

I smell the gentle scent of the cigar. The same my father used to smoke. I try to ignore it, but I just can't.

"I don't know the place well, but when I get there I'll better explain my plan."

As I sat in the cart, I noticed a collapsed tunnel ahead, surely I had to find another entrance to Polis from here. I reached into my haversack, and pulled out a map, depicting the old surface. I would have to go out of the nearby exit, to the surface, around an apartment block, and into the Moscow grand entrance. It would be a tough journey ahead, I've only been up there once, to assist a Ranger friend of mine in defending D6 for a "Hefty" pay of 23 bullets. I counted my filters, six, I would be alright. I had two magazines, one full, one half empty. One had Dirty, the half empty, the other had MGR. I zipped up my coat, pulled on my net gloves, and climbed out of the cart. My Father said his apartment block was right next to the Moscow entrance, I would pay a visit, but maybe some other time.

I ascended the escalator up to the lobby, I pulled my mask on, and cocked my AK, then slowly made my way out into the open...

Sorry to be nagging, but why do you keep posting here? Don't get me wrong, your roleplay posts are absolutely great, but people are actually only allowed to post roleplay posts here if their characters are with the group. RangerJack, Storchburp and M4$0N is an exception because their characters are supposedly going to meet with the group soon enough. So if you're not going to post roleplay relevant to ours, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to stop posting here, possibly making a new thread where you can post them. I know I could be interested in a secondary free roleplay-thread just like this one, so we can use other potential characters :)

Gena had supposedly arosen from Voskresshiy's tight grip. Voskresshiy had been turned inside out. Gena nodded to me in grattitude, and I simply nodded back before following Joe off the train. I hadn't bought it. I didn't buy it. Voskresshiy could possibly have faked Gena's return in order to get us off his back. If this possibility was incorrect, and Gena had actually returned from the world of the unconcious, then I was either way certain that Voskresshiy was not fully gone; he would return. And this time, he would want to keep the host forever, and get completely rid of Gena.
I glanced over to see Gena sitting down beside Alek a bit away from the group. It was apparent that no one could hear what they were saying, but I could to an extent make out their lips' movements from my ground. It wasn't easy from my distance, and I certainly could not stare at them, so I catched only a small portion of the conversation. But I caught enough to know what they were discussing. It seemed they were conversing with each other despite never looking at each other. I eventually quit throwing glances at them before turning my full concentration to Joe, waiting for his answer to what all of this was.

The shot I had been given by prizrak was making my senses a little cloudy, but thankfully we were now approaching the university's main entrance. I stopped a moment and stared at the Buildings that made up the university, Despite the post apocalyptic look, it was still a sight to see. I limped up one of the nearby stair cases and took cover on the right side of a pair of closed double doors, I slowly reached out and pushed open one of the doors, a VERY loud groaning/creaking noise filled the air as I opened the door and stepped inside.

The hallway was in, surprisingly, very good condition. Of course there were Books, papers, and many other objects strewn through out the hallway, I looked around for a moment before Finding a arrow sign still mounted the wall that said, 'Infirmary.', along with a few others, but at the moment I didn't care about them and started to limp were the sign indicated.

Sorry about skipping to the university guys, but I felt that we needed to get to the university since we were already so close to it and felt like we needed to get to a point were we were close to meeting the main group.

Do mods have a prearranged background into the condition/layout etc of the University or are we allowed to make it up as we go along? Eg. has it been completely isolated from mutants etc or is it a wreck with nosalises urinating on every corner? :p Would there be any other humans there?

People where flinging questions at me left and right, but I had all the answers "This is my lab, the weapons are old works. Everything in here serves a purpose, perhaps for fixing the world, perhaps to stop vlad." I noticed the commies where talking in the corner. I went closer and quietly said, "chat later, we save the world first." I walekd back in front of them all. "before I tell you all what we're going to do, any objections or questions?"

Joe did not reach to my expectations of his answer. Never the less, I was not going to nag it out of him. We would eventually be known with the deeper truth either way.
"This cannot be all yours, Joe. It might be only yours, but it must have belonged to someone before. Who? Was this the place you and your colleagues worked?", I asked him with a slightly worried tone in my voice. If this was the place where he and his colleagues once worked, Vladimir would surely be able to access it.
"And where are we, besides from being in your laboratorium?".

The current entries in my journal I began to put a line through it, I didn't want anybody to know of this strange experience that we were going through. I still needed to force that story out of Benjamin so that I may add it to my journal and explore the group's journeys alot more.

"Umm, Joe is this actually happening? Or is it that after the raid on D6 we were all put into a coma and then we were all hooked on to a crazy drug?" I questioned him.
This seemed all too strange, futuristic labs, working trains, super mutants and a mind control device it all seemed too strange, though who knows what Stalin may have been doing or after the fall of the USSR.

alright guys once I finish this post please reply fast I want to get out of this lab before next week :D
I got up and said to them all "this is where we used to work, yes. But remember I already shut down vlad's card so him coming in is near impossible. Now then, I'll show you what we have to do." I walked up to the massive computer, with gigantic wires hanging from it, in this all black room. I opened up the computer to show them where we needed to go. " alright the first of the parts is located in Mar'yina Roscha. underneath rubble that is. We should leave to get the part, and let the revolutionaries get the guide to the other parts. " I looked at them from the computer, "Any questions?"

This place is surprisingly.... fresh. Like it's just an abandoned place, not a place torn by war. All these books. Knowledge just sitting there. Knowledge that should be used by the people in the metro, but it sits here, decaying. I picked up the books, putting them in my backpack as Jack walked off towards a room labeled "Infirmary". He thinks he can find actual, clean, medical supplies in there? I chuckled as I kept filling my backpack with books.

As I stood in front of the infirmary door I checked the hallway to ensure mutants wouldn't be sneaking up on us and, after making sure our grouped wouldn't be flanked, I tensed my legs and, using my right shoulder, shoulder rammed the infirmary door open. I raised my Rifle and scanned the room before moving over and leaning against a desk, I slung my AK, holstering it, I began to unwrap the bandages on my chest. Acting quickly to ensure I didn't lose any more blood, I wrapped my chest wound in new bandages while while breathing haggardly for a few moments due to the pain.

I sighed before standing straighter, and looking around the small room. 'I guess it was just foolish hope that their were would be any type of Med's here.' I thought, I limped back out in the hall way seeing that Prizrak was lugging some Books, I decided now was a good a time as any to ask him a question that had plagued my mind. "So Prizrak, I told you why I was on my way here, Whats your reason?" I asked, Honestly I was somewhat surprised He hadn't had much of a reaction to my explanation of my mission, of course there was the probability that he didn't care. I still wondered what Dolgov could want with the university, at the same time, I'm wondering were I should begin my search for Looking for any hint to weapons research, perhaps the library maybe?

I grunt in reply to Aleks smart thinking. "Guess we'll just have to keep that fresh in thought until this missions done, then we'll get our business done here once we figure out the finer details" I add.

Quickly Joe huddles us around a computer and shows us the placement of the first part asking us if we had any questions. "Yeah I got a few. If its buried underneath rubble, how are we supposed to get it out? Second, how big is this thing and who's gonna drag it with them the whole journey?"

I wait for Jack to take whatever medical supplies he needs, watching him in order to learn what too keep an eye out for.

The bandages are new to my rather....mechanical... mind. First aid kits are supposed to be orange and square, and smelled different. Chemical.

Kind of like the smell coming from one of the rooms down the hallway.
Wordlessly, I get up and walk away from the group, following the scent like an animal. I do not detect any threats nearby.

I enter a room that at one point must have been a teaching laboratory and make my way towards the large, classroom sized first aid kit mounted on the wall. I try to take it with me but its bolted firmly to the wall and I stop and stare dumbly at the simple latch on it.

    "UHHHhhh..."

I call out, hoping to get either Prizrak's or Jack's attention.

Upstairs, above all three of us, the sound of a door closing can be heard.

I froze stiff throughout my spine when Joe said that a part of the weapon was in Mar'yina Roscha. I didn't want to go there again. Not after what we had done there and seen there the last time we were there. After Gena asked his question, I quickly added "And again, where are we? And we won't be going to the University after all?".

I looked over at Benjamin, it looked as if he had seen a ghost. Maybe someone died here at University or he died here and he is actually a ghost trying to save the Metro. I quickly began to write down notes for a fictional story about a ghost that comes back to life to save everybody. People were pointing at where we were to find the piece of equipment but sadly I couldn't see because everyone was crowding around the computer. I stood behind everybody and tapped my foot against the floor and rolled my eyes. "Always forgetting poor young Anton. I'm sort of just that kid, the one that follows everyone but doesn't do anything." I thought to myself.

I squeezed myself in closer to the screen to see where we were heading. Moving my head left to right, I began to analyse the computer. "Is this what people talk about when they say computers? It's bit boring." I said

I looked over at Dolgov, interrupting my thoughts at the same time, and noticed A first aid kit mounted on the wall. I chuckled as I limped over to him, and I gave him a light on the shoulder. "Good find buddy , but I doubt it contains anything too useful." I said as I took out my knife and used the blade to pry open the lid. As I examined the contents I noticed the bandages were had some black stuff on them, I then saw a bottle that looked like it had been crammed into the side. I took it and screwed off the cap, After a second I lifted my Gas-mask for a moment and took a quick smell, even with the smell of toxic air I was able to pick out the signature smell of disinfectant. I screwed the cap back on and turned around To thank dolgov, then I heard the barley audible sound of a door closing. I immediately turned toward the door to the class room with my AK raised.

I slowly moved out into the hallway and called out in a whisper. "Prizrak, was that you?" I asked urgently, as I moved to a stair case and took cover behind the wall that allowed me to have a field of fire and look up the staircase.

For all my keen senses, I do not appear to notice the sound of the door closing and keep peering hopefully into the open first aid box. Since most of the more valuable items have been removed, it would seem logical that this building at least has been combed over by stalkers in the past.

The light from the windows is fading with the coming sunset. A few minutes pass in silence. What could that have been?

In another corner of the room I am in is a strange, large metallic object about half the size of a car. The device is an autoclave, a furnace for sterilising laboratory equipment. If rigged to an electrical supply and a suction fan, it could be used to recycle used gas mask filters by drawing hot air through the activated carbon!

If you would like to rp doing this, and thus buy more time for us to hang around the place until we meet with the main group, I'd be more than willing to help with the technical aspect of it. The process of recycling filters is TOTALLY true and used by Syrian rebels today against the Assad regime. The average university laboratory would have access to both an autoclave as well as suction hoods to remove dangerous vapour...all we need.

I smiled as I put the last book in my backpack. Suddenly I heard the sound of a door closing. I quickly stood up, raising my shotgun. I hear Jack whisper "Prizrak, was that you?". I replied "No. Stay on your guard, someone else is here too." as I moved closer towards him. "Do you know why I came with you? It's a silly reason, actually. My father used to tell me stories about this utopia, this "Emerald City". He said that this place is the only place that true order and civilization exists, the only place that the war and the post-nuclear blast world hasn't corrupted it. And I had so much faith in my father that I believed him, no matter what people told me about it, I had faith that someday the people from Emerald City will restore peace and order to the metro. So when you told me that it was real... I had to see it for myself." I whispered. Suddenly, I noticed Dolgov staring at something, and turned my head to the same direction. I saw a big machine on the other side of the room. "Hey, do you know what that is?" I whispered, pointing to the device with the barrel of my gun.
