    I'm joining back up with the main group, sorry DrDarcy.

    I ran as fast as I could in the general direction I had seen Prizrak and the others go, as I ran I spotted turtle shaped mutant's that started to spit acid in my direction. I ducked a rather large glob of it and looked around to see the others running to an airlock with a man already inside it, and the field of mutants.

    Then I noticed the tattered body in the airlock covered in a familiar tattered 4th Reich uniform, I hoped It wasn't who I thought it was."Hold the airlock!" I shouted as I ran to it.

    Just as I reached the airlock, I heard Jack call out "Hold the airlock!". I turned back to see him running towards us. "Be careful, these bastards spit acid!" I shouted, shooting the mutants pursuing Jack.

    Dolgov died inside the airlock, you won't need to carry him in. He made a conscious decision to collapse there so that the party can salvage his gear.

    I kept running and felt something hit my helmet, I quickly let go of my AK, which thanks to the strap I had for it simply hung around my neck, and grabbed my helmet before throwing it off right as the acid began to eat through the metal. I half ran-half jumped into the airlock as another glob of acid hit behind me.

    I took a breath, before joining Prizrak by the airlock and firing my AK at the mutant's despite the fact most of the rounds just bounced off. "Ha ha ya See? I made it!" I said laughing to Prizrak as I turned to the around and shouted. "Somebody shut this damn thing!"

    Edit: Fixed it.

    As I flip the switch to close the airlock with my hand behind cover, I recognize that these are fellow Rangers and friendly stalkers. They too do not know the identity of the fallen Reich stalker. I get up from cover and introduce myself to the stalkers in front of me as I holster my Kalash. "You're a bit lucky I was on post. I am Iakova, Polis Ranger. Why were you out on the surface?"

    No problem. I will step away from this rp thread for a week or so to give a realistic delay before my new character can track down Dolgov's location. In the meantime, feel free to rummage his pockets or move/do stuff with his corpse, it makes it more interesting for me to rp looking for him :p

    Despite serving in the rangers for a time, I ignored the Ranger and instead knelt by Dolgovs corpse. He was always silent besides the occasional groan or large breath that he would do to get our attention, there wasn't much left of his skull due to the acid from the mutant's so I put my hand over his heart and said quietly.

    "Rest brother, may you find safety and peace in the embrace of your God. And should you not have believed in a God or divine force, then may you find peace and safety in whatever afterlife you believed in."

    I stood up and gave a sharp salute to Dolgov's body for a few second's before turning around toward the Ranger. "I'm here to destroy any weapons and/or weapons development that may have happened here, along with any schematics." I said calmly. "As for them? I cant say."

    "Ah. I was told a demoman was to reinforce my little outpost here. And, whoever that man was, I pay my respects", I said as I sharply saluted the corpse. It was apparent that this Reich stalked was anything but normal. "So comrade, as Miller told me nothing about the job ahead, I have two questions. What's your name, and what is the plan?" I turn the other people. "And who are you?"

I said simply before turning to Dolgov's corpse."His name was Dolgov, he was a part of our group, he seemed to be able to detect mutant's before we even saw them. so I guess he wasn't really normal, but then again, nobody is anymore." I said before leaning against a wall.

    The turtle mutants were apparently in capability of thrusting acid out of their mouths, which was surprisingly difficult to avoid. One of the times, I had to stop so the acid landed in front of me, to then take a leap of faith to get across the bubbling puddle of acid. Once we arrived at the airlock, the strange Reich-soldier apparently named Dolgov was already being incinerated by the acid, half his face and his arm beginning to melt. He sat against a wall quickly before a load of bullets were fired into him. I quickly raised my rifle towards where the shots had come from, but I quickly lowered it, realising it was a ranger. I was not sure wether I wished for such a quick and merciless death for a Reich soldier, but when the ranger Jack saluted and blessed the now dead man, I considered the fact that he had been an important part of Jack's journey here, and Jack seemed like a good man.

    "My name is Benjamin Soprano, the longest member of this group, which is currently my living", I said briefly to the man. I looked at Dolgov. By the time the acid had now stopped incinerating, half the man's face was partly vanished, leaving a stinch and appearance so horrifying it almost made even me vommit. Never the less, I walked over to the body, slowly crouching down while looking at Jack "If you do not mind...", I asked as I slowly reached for Dolgov's gear. There was no reason to leave it here with a dead man. He would not need it in his afterlive, would he now?

    He had been heavily laden with first aid supplies, canned food and filters.
    Then I noticed something strange about his pockets. I searched around and located jar upon jar upon jar, counting about twenty jars of assorted plant seeds, ranging from seeds of edible plants like cereal, fruit and legumes; to seeds of inedible plants like pinecones and acorns. Unfortunately, about four of them had been crushed from the bullets the Polis ranger had planted into him. Quickly I did my best to gather as much of them as I could without picking with too much dirt and dust along the way, in each their little plastic bag. I put it all into my backpack carefully before I stood up. Strange, a man like this containing such an incredible and record breaking collections of so many seeds I recognized and had not seen for over twenty years. These were invaluable and would come to good use in good hands.

    I then realized that Jack was actually with us "Jack, were you not supposed to go to the Library with the revolutionaries?", I asked him.

    "Yeah, I was." I said still leaning against the wall. "The nosalies thought it would be fun to come back, we got separated in the fighting. And no, I don't mind you taking the supplies from him as long as me and Prizrak get a few of those filter's and I get a couple of those jars with seed's in them I don't mind." I remembered how Tanya said she wanted to start a garden, maybe she could plant and grow these seed's? I looked around remembering most of the group from their guns and clothing until I noticed the new girl standing there with them, I turned to the man known as Benjamin. "So Mr.Benjamin who's the fresh cannon fodder?" I asked jerking my head in the girl's general direction.

    "She's Lorayne. She'll be with us until the nearest station." I answered. Contrary to my previous decision, I really didn't see any point in punishing her, since she was just a naive, young girl who had just lost her family in a mutant attack. I couldn't blame her for being jumpy. But I had to at least scold her. I approached her, growling: "Lorayne, I swear if you put us in danger like that again, I'll blast your fucking guts with my shotgun and leave you to bleed out, got it?"

    "Ha ha, way to scare the NOOB Prizrak!" I would never be able to accurately tell what got me laughing right then, maybe it was the fact he reminded me of my old captain or something else. "Haha oh man, sorry haha, sorry. Just the way you said it got me laughing." I was of course lieing to him, but oh well.

    I started to shake but I nodded fearfully,"Yes."I said voice full of fear I then found the rangers dog tags and walked over to the ranger here offering them to him.

    Jack asked me for some of the gear. "Of course", I said and shared the medkits and filters equally to them two, keeping the leftovers for myself.
    Jack then said the word 'Noob', which I did not quite understand what meant. I did not ask though, but he seemed to suddenly be laughing hysterically, his mood was cheering up for some reason. I found it odd, knowing that an aquaintance of him had just died a horrible death. Perhaps I was wrong to judge him as a good man this soon?

    I then talked seriously to him, "The jars, though, are of very high value, Jack. Letting one single of these seeds go would be devastating. Do you have any idea what these seeds are and how much they can mean? It could mean twenty-two new food- and/or medical- sources which eventually could have been spread to the whole of the Metro. What are your intentions with these seeds?", I asked almost as if I was challenging him to prove himself more worthy than myself to carry the seeds.

    TheStalker, where in the metro are we?
    Also, Storchburp: if you want to, your character who comes to pick up the jars (which are not there any longer), can...... smell the scent of Benjamin's hands ;)

    This man had backbone, I respected that. "There's a little girl back in Polis who I became a sort of older brother to after I saved her from a station that had been destroyed by the Nazi's and the Red's, I remember that she wanted to start a small garden but couldn't due to most seed's and plant's being handled by the higher up's, so I wanted a few to hold onto for her. I'm not asking for the whole lot Mr. Benjamin." I said evenly. "And no, I'm not trying guilt trip you."

    To be honest, I had probably pissed him off with the blatant disrespect I showed to the girl. Why had I done that? was it some form of amusement to me? An attempt to get her to return to the relative safety of a station? No, no it wasn't, it was me dealing with Dolgov's death. It was how I always dealt with the death of my comrade's, give them a small blessing and small amount of honor if you can. Grieve when your safe again back in a station.

    This man followed his conviction's if nothing ,maybe he was trying to tell if I simply didn't care about Dolgov, or even the girls life.................

    Truth was, maybe I didn't.......and that scared me somewhat. I sighed, maybe it wouldn't hurt to apologize to young gr- no woman, she was stalker now, whether she liked or not. I turned to her and said. "sorry for laughing at you ma'am, don't worry. I'll make sure you walk back safe and sound to the metro when the time come's."

    I nodded at her reaction. "your turning into a stalker already ma'am." I said chuckling, I turned back to Benjamin, waiting for his reply.

    I run over to the air lock, "HOW DID YOU FIND THIS AIR LOCK?" I wait for a reply, if they found the first part, i could only hope that they hadn't found the actual secret parts, where if they didn't have a card from my old employer, there where more defenses than there where at my base....

    we're on the surface near sukharevskaya btw.

    I heard another man call over to me. "We found maps of a prototype weapons lab in one of the armories in D6. Miller tasked me with waiting here for another Ranger and info on my mission. I hacked one of the CCTV cameras and the password for the control switch, luckily for most of you." I shrugged, "I guess I'm with all of you now..."
