Roleplay Part 3

From what ive heard yes, Benjamin, Vlad, Steven and Mikhailov, darkbringer is not with us tho and since Mikhailov did not respond we will have to drag him or carry him

 

"Who I am?" I replied, followed by a sigh. "I am a soldier of the underground. Some would call me a wanderer, and they would not be wrong." I got on to my feet and stood up. "But I work for the Ranger Order, and, well... Do some vengeance on the side". I explained the outline of my story, with my mother who was killed by the nazis and my following vendetta against them. "But how did you get out here? I don't often see youngsters like you out here... Well not live ones anyway". I thought I might have accidentally scared him a little with the last line so I managed to add: "But you look different!".

 

I raised my head, looking up at Steven in the doorway with my HK ready. "So what do thou say, Steven? Shall we move on? Is it far to the station? For I will have to carry Mikhailov on my shoulders, as if his burdens were mine. I will only be able to fight by using some time to drop him, and we will have to stand still while fighting unless we want to leave Mikhailov behind. If we choose to run, I will not be able to run fast with him on my shoulders. Of course, this is all only if we meet any dangers, which there is a lesser posibility of, the shorter the distance is. The choice is yours" I said before I looked at him with an impatient expression on my face, though I was actually patient. At least I thought I was.

 

Steven's organizing seemed well planned. I got up onto my feet, barely not hitting my head into the roof. I lifted up Mikhailov onto my shoulders before I followed Steven out through the door. I looked both ways, to the right, to the left. There were no light. Perhaps it had passed the area earlier. No mutants from what I could tell either.

 

As Rodion didn't respond I decided it was time to move on. But I had no idea where in the metro we were. I opened the door to the tunnel and checked left and right before I stepped out. I had a sudden feeling of joy. Even though I was in one of the worst situations you could possibly be in, I was happy. I thought about the psycho who's life had ended just a few minutes ago. I yelled out: "Is that all you got!?" to the emptiness of the tunnel. As the sound of my voice echoed through the tunnel, I heard a strange response. Like a scream. I got louder and louder the farther I went into the tunnel. Looking over my shoulder I saw Rodion, and it calmed me down.

 

The group moved on shortly but we were short of one, Darkbringer was missing, and i just felt the need to ask, just in case that he didnt make it or got lost, "Guys, where is darkbringer, i remember that he was with us but nothing else after the blackout" my breathing and heartrate was iregular, the vision, dream or message whatever it was shocked me abit and kept me thinking, but my team needed me more than ever, we have non-combat effective members and an MIA one. I took the left side rear to guard the team and watch for any intrussions, all i hope is that we will make it out alive.

 

"I will be overthrilled to have the chance to communicate with these people. I am more than okay with that" I answered in a grateful way. I was not completely sure why Steven would want me to do the talking. Were these men really that suspicious that not even Steven would be able to convince them of our positive influence? We would soon find out. As I have already said, I was not completely sure what I was supposed to do, but I was a quick thinker back then, and I was ready for whatever verbal, or physical, challenge that was ahead of us.

 

As on command, I stepped forward, half-way in front of Steven. The guard looked from Steven over at me when I did so. "Greetings, fellowers. We have travelled great distances through great dangers to arrive at this station. We have some personal attendences that will cause no harm or negative influence. We come with our best intentions" I said to the guard and smiled at him. I could feel the heat of his suspiciousness like a wall of fire as he stared at us for a while, studying us.

 

I had a bad feeling that we were going to have a problem with these men later on. I didn't know why, I just did. "Steven, I bet one hundred cartridges that I can hit that man in the back with a throwing knife!" I said out loudly in a humouros way as the guards walked. The first guard slightly turned his head, but he didn't stop. He probably understood that I was joking, seeing that I meant for him to hear me. I was not usually like that. I rarely got angry, but when I did get angry, I had all my reasons to, and I got really angry. I guess I was not angry at that time, though. Just a little agitated by the guard's reckless behaviour after my polite introduction of our group. I did not like the guard, I was a little agitated, but I still kind of laughed inside me with a little smile on my mouth.

 

"Seeing that you are our designated leader for the moment, I suggest that you guide our route through the station, Steven" I said after nodding in agreement. I looked at the rest of the group. "I suggest that we stay here in the station to wait for the one who calls himself Darkbringer" I stated. "For not too long, though".

 

We got up to the station steven mentioned though i forgot the name, there we were blinded by spotlights that have been turned on so that they can see who is coming. Two guard where aproaching our group slowly, but i let Steven and Benjamin do the talking while i was tending to Mikhailov's condition, he was as stiff as a plank to say the least with no refelx movement, but he was breathing and his heart rate was normal, nothing unsual, but he needs a doctors atention to see whats wrong with him. He should of woken up by now like the rest of us, but nontheless we still need to press on. I didnt pay much attention to the conversation so i did not know what they where talking about untill the guards left, after which i heard Benjamin say an actualy funny joke at which i giglled abit and turned towards the two guys and said "So are we allowed in the station, Michailov needs to see a doctor to see if its anything wrong with him. And Benjamin, that joke you said was not aproapriate, even if it was ment to be one were infront of a heavily armed station and going back means risking our very lives, so be carefull what you say"

 

"I choose my words carefully and wisely, not depending on our situation, but depending on whom I am saying it to, and who else are in presence to take notice of it. It might not have been apropriate, but neither was the guard's response to our introduction. Unapropriate is answered by unapropriate. I am also pretty certain that it will not make a greater difference either. A slight relief of humor is worthy of our attention even in these grave moments. Sacrificing something bad for something better is a positivity" I defended myself. "I do, though, see your point of view, Vlad. I will attempt to keep a lower profile from here on. More than that, I cannot promise" I smiled.
