Roleplay Part 4

I had been scouting ahead with my AKM, but my sight was limited to five metres due to the fog. Though this was usually a bad sign, for some reason everything seemed safe here. In all the confusion I had lost track of our direction. Andrey had to know, I thought. I sat next to him and whispered: "Where are we heading?".

 

I leaned back, and said, with a funny accent due to my throbbing nose "Thanks Dimitri. And you too, Andrey. For shooting the Commandant. Who knows, maybe you ended the Reich today, with just one bullet?" I laughed, then leaned over holding my damned nose in pain.

I glanced sideways at the scientist. "Hey, Ivan" I began. He looked up sulkily, then fear overcame his features. Laughing without humour, I continued "Ah, you remember me, that's good. I said I'd keep an eye on you, after killing my brother with your weird torture. And now look at this, here we are". He stared, speechless. I smiled and looked to the front. Some kind of dust, or smoke or something...

Suddenly,i heard one single shot,then people screaming and running around.
All the Nazis where on alarm and were taking their combat gear.
As soon as two Nazis ran near the Guard Post,they found all the deads.
-"Hey what's going on here?!" He grabbed the Guard Post's telephone "Guard Post Number 12 has been...".I had no more time,and i opened fire.
In a second everything was over.
Somebody on the telephone was repeating:"Guard Post 12 do you read me? Guard Post 12 do you read me? Over."
I grabbed the Phone-"Yes we read you,we are hearing gunshots from the Stations,what's going on?"
-"Some Red scum has managed to break into our base,stay in position and fire at will if you see them" -"Solid copy."
Unfortunately,the Nazis had only 5 mags,which i put into the backpack,and some cigarettes,which i put into my pocket.I guess that that were the only things they managed to bring with them when they had been awaken by the noise.
I was just trying to think what to do,and how to get out of that mess alive,when i saw a cart coming at full speed from the station,with people shooting to the Nazis -they had to be them!But they were not coming in this Tunnel,but in the next one.I quickly hid myself in the shadow.That was the only way to save my life.
I timed the jump,and some way i managed to get on the back of the armoured cart.
I heard some voices talking about going to Polis and stuff,but i didn't hear much.
I was tired because of the uncomfortable way i had grabbed the cart,only my hands were keeping me from falling on the trucks.
I decided to make my presence known.
I stood up in same way,one of them immediately saw me,and they all aimed their guns on me:"Hey hey hey,calm down people,i'm not a Nazi!"I began sweating cold sweat.
Somebody asked:"And who are you then...?" "I'm just a lonely traveller who wants to save his own life"

 

I had been surprised by this stranger jumping into our cart at full speed. Well, if he wanted to save his life, he should definately have taken another truck. We had already been in danger once this day, and we would be so again. I gave him my hand. "Darkbringer. I didn't quite catch your name?". I gave a firm squeeze with my hand.

 

I was so surprised that I almost shot Steven and Andrey when they came running, but I managed to hold my fire. Dima took care of Steven while I kept guard. The nazis flowed into the hallway and I bursted several shots in there, making them fall to the ground in piles. The rest were clever enough to be strategic and take cover. They fired after me as I ran towards the railcart. Several bullets penetrated my heavy coat, leaving some holes around on it, but the whole coat was stuffed with bulletproof kevlar. As the railcart already was in speed, I jumped in speed and landed perfectly on it, shooting back at the nazis who fell like flies onto the rails.
Soon enough, we were further into the tunnel where some stranger appeared at the railcart. I was curious to see how the others would react.
Wait, when we actually meet Wolf... Should we just all roleplay what he does, or what?"

 

Are you talking about me?
"Rolf.That's my name"
"Uh,and where are we going if i may ask...?" "To Polis"
-"That's a nice journey!Anybody wants some cigarettes?Uh i also have some mags for AK 47,i'd like to swap them with some of the 74"

 

No, Wolf is character of "Bamul", I think. But he hasn't been rolepaying - or active on this forum at all - for some time.

The newcomer had jumped onto our cart, which was already crowded. My arms were almost pinned to my sides, and the leg-room was severely cramped. The fog was getting thicker, too. "People, we should get into defensive positions, as I don't think moving quickly is an option on this cart!" I smiled and turned around to face the rear. I was sure cramps would set in quickly, and we'd all be in agony within half an hour.

 

As we entered further into the fog the rats started to disappear one by one until there where none at all. I saw that Andrey had taken a defensive position at the front of the cart, so I decide to do the same. But as soon as I stood up everything went completely silent. It was as if someone hit the master volume switch, I could barely here myself think. The feeling was unexplainable, I felt as though walking in slow motion making my way to the front of the cart, Taking a firing position beside Andrey.

 

Being sandwiched in a railcart wasn't exactly my idea of a 'great escape'. I unslunged my rifle took guard at the front, my eyes looking through the dense fog, trying to find anything unusual.

 

I turned on my flashlight."maybe it's just some fog,but if there is fog,there is also a way to the surface...anybody has a dosimeter?"

 

I thought Pyotr wasn't with us anymore? o:
The strange fog just got thicker and thicker, and when Andrey mentioned rumors about this "killing fog", I immediately reached for my gas mask and put it on before I quicly changed the two filters.

 

I followed Benjamin's example and put on my gas mask. I checked my flamethrower, then switched on the flashlight and started scouting ahead. Here we go, I thought.

 

i put my gas mask on,like the others. i thought-"I still don't know this people,i'd better shut up"

 

When Andrey mentioned chemicals that can kill and the stranger that it lead to the surface I imedietly put two and two together. I put on my pmk and set a timer on my watch for the filter, "safety first!" I giggled. Then turned on my head lamp like the others, and started scanning the fog for dangers.
