Roleplay Part 4

I looked at DarkBringer's (sorry, is that your character's name?) flamethrower in wonder. That thing was lethal. And it cramped the cart even more. But hey, the best weaponry always seemed to take up the most space. The fog was thickening rapidly.

 

Guys can you give me a rundown of whats happening pls, i havent been much on the forum so pls tell me

 

Since we were purposely taken prisoners by Andrey, we took control of the brainwasher. While the rest of us ran down a corridor to a cart with the brainwasher, Steven got into a "fight" with the "Führer" of the station, but Andrey saved Steven by shooting the führer and his bodyguards, then helped Steven escape. When we were all in the railcar, a seemingly desperate stranger jumped on to our cart to save himself. On our road to Polis, we went through a strange fog, but we didn't encounter anything else. We were greeted by some guards at the Polis, but we would only go through it, then take the tunnel to Paveletskaya.

 

As we approached Polis, Andrey seemed to be well-known there as well. Another one.... How many of these known people could there be? I had encountered several other well-knowns earlier, and it seemed that everyone knew everyone around. After twenty years in the Metro, I still felt like I was the only one that was a stranger to everyone. As the fog faded away, I took the gasmask back off my face. As I ripped it off my face, it felt like it had been glued onto my face after wearing it for those few hours. I felt numb in my whole face. A familiar feeling after wearing a gas mask for a long while. Finally some free space to let the pale old skin breathe. I hooked the military S10 gas mask with tinted lenses and double-filters back onto the side of my backpack again and leaned back in the small railcart in an uncomfortable way, to make more space for the others. "If I may be daring enough to question where we are heading next, may I do so?" I asked.

 

The group swiftly went through the Reich and we manage the brainwasher which was an evil man he purpusly forced people to do his wishes. He was a mad person as well as mentally disturped, at least now we can get some answers.
Now that we are safe i took off my gasmask and check my gear to see if its in good condition.
I took position in the cart with my L96 and i looked down the railway untill we reached Polis, there we would pass though to our next objective. Polis was a central hub for the metro in the past, now it is home to one of the largest populations at hand.

 

Sitting in the cart, I felt the weariness and fatigue catch up with me. I had been living off a mixture of vodka and adrenaline for the last 48 hours, and looked forward to some real food. Maybe I'd get some bacon, with grilled mushrooms. I felt the saliva pour into my mouth at these thoughts.

 

Thankful we got out of the fog untouched I took off my gas mask and took the opportunity to snack on an old military ration. It wasn't exactly a turkey diner but it did the trick. Looking over at Steven I noticed he was half starved to death, I looked down at my half empty ration then back to Steven. "here have this, it'll keep you going till we hit the next station. I then took out my knife and started to sharpen it loudly in front of the scientist as I stared at him, It appeared he was trying to catch some shut eye but the dull scrap of the blade forced his heavy eyes open. He looked in my eyes with a stare of pure hatred "you, I know you." he snared. "no, not yet you don't. But don't worry you will, and I assure you by the time were done with you'll wish you never saw this face". I evilly smiled.

 

I smiled to myself when Andrey took the scientist away, he was off the hook...for now. Assuming this wolf character leaves him in one piece it'll be a long walk back to Reich. A lotta people disappear in those tunnels. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of having him squirming around in a hand cuffed chair, begging for mercy threw a layer of duck tape while I decide which tooth to pull out first. "a tooth for every red killed by your work". After teeth we move to finger nails, then toes and ears. And if he could make it threw that I'd show him my take on brain alteration. But for now all I can do is pray for wolf to have mercy, cause god knows I won't.

 

I thanked Dima for the food. "Your generosity will be spoken of in legends" I said with half a smile, "But, in the meantime, know that my gun will be at your side during any conflicts which we enter". The cart rumbled on, the wheels rattling in the steady silence of the metro.

Dima was explaining to the nazi how he would torture him, and I remembered a similar conversation which had taken place only a few weeks ago, when we had captured a nazi officer. And I said the same now as I said then, "How are you better than him, if you will resort to the same tactics? Surely anger can be curbed, revenge cooled, hatred quelled, and forgiveness found? I'm not saying he should be left to go free, just as I shouldn't be let to go free. But torture reduces you to their level, the level of pointless, spiteful cruelty. Don't answer, but think on my words, if it pleases you".

 

My disturbing thoughts were interrupted by steven's thanks. I quickly snapped out of it and listened to him. "huh, somehow I'm not to inthusiastic about leaving my mark in history" (LOL). Hopefully I won't have to call in your favor, but I'm great full for it anyways. I patted him on the back then got up and sat down at the back of the cart next to the stranger. I lit a cigarette and offered him one, "I'm Dima nice to meet you" I offered my hand. "so tell me, what is a 'civilian' doing in the middle of the Reich, obviously your not a nazi running away like that, but then again no civilian packs heat quite like that etheir. Your hiding something" I smiled.

 

I wasn't actually saying that out loud you know. It was a thought to myself.

 

I looked at us. Here we were all sitting in a cart barely big enough for us, on our way to an old comrade with a nazi brainwasher that we had abducted from the reich themselves. We were a hardened group that had gone through every possible thing. Demons, other mutants, nazis, reds, criminals, we had been through it all. I felt like we were unbeatable and invincible. Although I knew that my feelings were way over my head, I still believed in them.

All of a sudden, I spotted a strange light in the rear of the tunnel, growing larger and brighter each second that passed. It seemed to be blue-ish. It was like nothing I had ever seen in the metro. "What is that blue light?" I asked, interrupting Dimitri and Andrey as I slightly lifted my hand to point down the tunnel, at the strange approaching light.

Alright for you guys if we add an anomaly here, or should we just void my last paragraph?

 

Anomaly is good.

The light grew stronger, and small sparks of blue were coming off the sides of the tunnel. "Damn it, what the hell? Can this thing go faster?" I asked. We were already going quite fast, almost too fast for tunnel-standards, what with crap all over the tracks and a crash possible on every metro of these broken down tunnels.

Finally,i had been able to leave the Reds! The betrayers of the Revolution!
I was just getting used to it,when more trouble seemed to be on our path.

 

I was nice and comfortable sitting at the back of the cart, but I was a fool to think our troubles were over. Bens warnings forced me to look up. I was expecting to see some tunnel lurkers or a nazi pursuit trolly. But instead I was greated with an erie blue light preceding a lightning ball of sorts. I admit I was rather shocked to see such a strange and unorthodox being. I stared for a moment then grabbed my rifle with one hand and put it on my lap, though I doubted it could harm such an anomaly. "is it hostile?" I said.
