"right, walk straight into a hostile station on the main rail. Sounds good." I replied.

*I slowed down and waited for Benji to catch up. water was raising and we were waist deep in it. I had no fear for Jet 'cause I knew she wasn't scared of water. she didn't like it, but she would swim if she had to*

'perhaps you should have a word with Andrey' I said to Benji, making sure no-one else would hear us.

'he nearly got caught in a trap earlier, and the last thing we need is either casualties or rushing head on into something as dangerous as those bastards. may be he should be a bit more careful? we'll do our best to save Wolf, but it won't be much help if one of us gets killed by not being careful or if we all get captured and god knows what else'

*as I said this I saw that flicker of light again in the distance. this time I knew for sure it wasn't a bonfire since we only had water surrounding us*

'what the heck?' I said out loud

*it took me about a second to realize what it was*

'Anomaly! backs to the wall everyone and don't move!' I shouted moving towards the wall as fast as I could and putting my back to it.

I approached Odessa who seemed to be waiting for me, and walked along with her. After her suggestion, I just got time to answer. "I do not know Andrey well, but I know enough to not question him. I can feel that he is a stubborn and yet skilled man. Despite the fact that he knows his way around, he is way too self-secure, which will possibly lead to his own death. If he wants it that way, I have no intentions of stopping him, despite how much we need him" I answered before I pushed my back against the wall.

'fair enough. we will just have to make sure he doesn't drag any one else with him when his luck runs out. In the mean time, we will just keep on helping each other get to our objective and get out alive' I said to Benji while waiting for the anomaly to pass us by.

Seconds ago I had been with the others in the waist-deep cold water on our march to the satanist and now I found myself back in the dream, although all had changed.
Where there had been a golden sea of wheat was nothing more than ashes whirling in the cold wind. From a blood red sky the sun shone hatefully at all beneath. The tree in the clearing was now a dead body with twisted gnarly branches reaching out hungrily towards me. The child that had been playing with his toys now stood staring at him with the most horrifying face I had ever seen. Where there should have been a mouth and nose was only blank skin and the eyes. The eyes. Two eyes as big as plates stared at me, black as the darkest tunnel, void and hungry.
With a bloddthirsty snarl the Child crooked it's back and jumped at me with talons instead of fingers. I screamed and started to run away from the abomination and the dead tree across the barren ashfield.

*as the anomaly was about to reach us I saw Sergei walking towards it, instead of getting out of its way. I jumped towards him as fast as I could and pulled him to the wall, pining him against it with my arm. as the anomaly went past us and dissapeared round the bend I let Sergei go*

    'you ok?' I asked him.

'next time you decide to walk into an anomaly, please let me know so I can tie you up first' I said shaking my head.

*I lit up a smoke and continued walking. Jet had become disloged from my shoulder when I got Sergei, but she managed to swim back to the wall and jump on Benji's shoulder. now she swam back to me and settled on my shoulder once again, shaking herself and covering me in freezing water*

ed: just added a 'him' that I missed.

These anomalies were like an ancient power, created amongst the moon and the sun, and must have been there long before the humans decided to dig their own graves in the dirt beneath Moscow. It was the anomaly that decided who got to live and who got to die. It could fry you as easy as breaking a match, but it could also save your from the hordes of mutants. It was a stronger ally than even Hanza, and some people are rumoured to able to control it. What wouldn't you give for such an ability?

As we kept walking through the tunnel, I started thinking about the drill. Was it a drill I had seen? Or had my eyes been playing tricks? I had to know. I went up to Odessa and whispered: "Do you see this drill?", while pointing at the drawing.

'It certainly looks like one, but I wonder what they plan to do with it' I said looking at the drawing Dark had.

'I'm just not sure if they would use it to flood the metro, 'cause if they do that, it would be the end to their society, and as far as I know their aim is to enslave and kill as many of us as possible, to end up conquering the whole metro. if they kill themselvs in the process what would be the point? the are psycopaths and maniacs, but I don't think they are suicidal, at least not yet' I said taking a puff from my smoke.

'they are up to something, that's for sure, but I wonder what'

I gave Odessa's words some thought, but then replied: "It would still be a threat. If they came to Polis and threatened with flooding them, I'm sure Polis would be brought to it's knees.".

'hopefully, it won't come to that if we can help it. whatever it is they are planning to do with that thing, we can make sure it won't happen, or at least put them back to 'day one planning stage', as in 'oh shit, they did enough damage that it will take us months to repair' scenario' I said to Dark.

*we had come nearly out of the water, of which I was glad, since I had the feeling that sooner, rather than later, mushrooms would start growing on my pants*

Just when I thought the child would throw itself over me, I found myself back in the tunnel, pinned against the wall by Odessa as the bright blue light of an anomalie floated past. Odessa asked If I was Fine, to which I replied in a rather weak tone "Y-yes -t-thank you." but I chose to ignore her reprimand about tying me up. She moved on and up to Darkbringer who started to discuss something about the paper he had found earlier and left me in in the back alone with my adrenaline and fear still pumping through my system.

After taking a deep breath to calm my nerves I wondered for a while what would have happened if Odessa hadn't pulled me away from the anomaly. Probably would have been evaporated into thin air, I shrugged. But then I thought about the other dreams and encounters with anomalies when wandering alone. I had survived that, yes but this dream seemed...different. They had never been so dark and threatening before. Maybe this had been a warning, a foreboding of what lay ahead? I wasn't sure if I should mention the dream to the others , they would probably think I was insane. But what if I was? Nevertheless, a little caution never killed anyone.

"M-maybe we should be more wary of what might lie ahead?" I asked nervously as we got up of the water, while my eyes darted between the group.

As the anomaly passed and everybody took cover so did i. We passed Avtozavodskaya half an hour ago and ever since we were in waist deep water. Then i relized why.

"Hey, there is a bridge over a canal used back in the days up ahead. maybe 5 minutes or so. Its completely ruined from a small collapse that happened a few years ago. The water flooded the tunnels after the collapse. So its gonna be quite wet for the next maybe 2 or so stations."

We continued for a while until we hit the bridge. It was collapsed and destroyed but there was a catwal kthat circled around it via a wall. I climbed a ladder and continued on it. The room was very large with a bridge in the middle of it where the tracks went over. The bridge, in 2 places was completely gone and below the bridge was a cannal of iradiated water with large gaps in the walls where the water was escaping into the tunnels. On the roof water was droping like crazy. And my flashlight couldnt even eluminate the walls on the other side. Thats how large this room was.

"The next staion is Kolomenskaya. Its safe. and the water levels should drop there. Then we will go to Kashiriskaya and i think its best if we spend the night there. It should be safe there as well. Then we will walk to Kantemirovskaya, which is safe aswell. Then we will go onto Charichuno station. And thats where i believe the satanists are. They might be further down in Orehovo, Domodedovskaya, or perhaps at the end of the line at Krasnogvardeyskaya. Understood?"

Then i continued to follow the catwalk until a ladder appeared which conected to the tracks. I jumped off and continued through the tunnel. This tunnel was dark, cold, and filled with rubble. Plus it was super narrow and water was ankle deep and muddy.

The anomaly was a bit of a surprise for me simply because I didn't expect one in these tunnels. There was a close call with Sergei as he was almost obliterated by the anomaly, in fact he would have if not for Odessa. When the anomaly passed and we continued I lit a cigarette to try and warm up. Blisters where starting to form on my ankles toes, not like it really mattered I could hardly feel my legs anyway. When we arrived at the gloomy and watery bridge Andrey explained our path and it was filled with more and more watery tunnels. I admit I was not excited about it at all but I had to keep going, putting one foot in front of the other. Left, right, left, right. I said nothing nor really paid attention to anyone I just concentrated on wadeing threw the water.

I followed them in silence, trusting in Andrey's knowledge of the area. I was a bit surprised at some points in the journey. A bit. There's not much that surprises me anymore. I waded through the dank waters behind Dima, trying to control the noises that I'd make.

I followed in Pyotr's wake, the clammy water soaking straight through my ragged jeans. I hadn't said much in hours, and I watched from the sidelines. My narrow escape from death (granted by the Satanists, of all people) had given my whole being a shock. My mind tried to work itself out, and I would try to act more normal in the near future, rather than looking at my own soul all day long.

As we waded past Avtozavodskaya and further on past the broken bridge, I was surprised at how Andrey believed that the Satanists would be further South. I spoke a little loud, to get everyone's attention. And especially because I was in the back while Andrey, the one leading, was in the front. "I have heard a lot of rumors that the Satanists are located in Lyublino, which is now east of us. If so, they would go the way we have now gone, but to the left at this moment. Perhaps through a secret passage? I am just saying, why would they go further down South? what would their business be there? Do we have any evidence or leads that they have gone there? I believe they have taken Wolf and their other prisoners to Lyublino, their home station. How come you believe that they have gone further South past Kolomenskaya?" I asked Andrey. Every word that I shared was unaffected by the cold water surrounding my lower body. I could see how most, or all or the others were struggling to walk through the water, while I myself could barely even feel it.

The map, I thought. I took a look at the crudled map, and there was a route marked with red. "According to this map, we should go left at the next turn." I said, and wandered up to Andrey and Benjamin showing them the map. Andrey was stubborn, and I had to have my arguments ready, I thought.

*I walked slowly through the freezing water, my legs, and the rest of me getting more tired by the minute. I heard Benji talking to Andrey and then Dark about the map*

'whichever way we decide to go, we really should stop for the night, get some hot food in us, dry our clothes as best we can and plan what we are going to do next' I said looking at Andrey.

'if any of you want to keep on walking, just say it and we could always vote on it, but I think is common sense to rest for the night and get our strenght back. we've been wading through freezing water for quite a few hours now and we are all wet and miserable. what do you say guys?'

I did not feel the need for rest, but I was still sure that my body needed it. "Indeed, a splendid idea", I agreed before I looked around for anywhere dry. As if our prayers were heard, I noticed a ladder leading up to a squared entrance in one of the walls. "That would seem like a proper settlement for the time being", I said as I pointed to the ladder and the entrance. "I do hope you agree with this, Andrey?" I said as my voice entered a slightly more gloomy mood.
