Roleplay part 6

I passed my pistol, a Makarov, to Ben and i loaded my ak47. Pointing at the nazis i demanded "You see, i have had a lot of experience with you nazi types and i will tell you this, there is nothing standing between you and a bullet in the head, so if you don't answer the question my partner here asks, i'll make your life a living hell, understood "comrade"?"

 

Ben had a chat with the prisoners, but it ended up in them committing suicide, guess the "take no prisoners" belief still stays with the Reich. "Odessa is our best bet to find out whats going on here, you need to get some info out of her, one way or another Ben." i whispered to Ben, "I'll search the bodies look for anything useful." I took the pistol back from Ben and put it back in its holster, then i inspected the bodies.

 

"Cowards," I said. I looked at Ben who seemed to be the leader if the group and stated,"so I guess that's where we are going huh? The reich. You guys must be an interesting group to have the nazis try to hunt you down." I concluded. I approached the two men and felt there pulse. One was dead. But surprisingly one was still alive. Barely. His pulse still operated in his neck showing that blood was still getting into his head. He was unconscious and would die soon. "Hey guys. This ones alive. But not for long."

 

Watching the whole conversation I nodded to myself and said, "It's not safe here, I guess." I slung my knapsack over my shoulder again. "So much for a break."

 

"To hell with them. We did it once and we can sure as hell can do it again... If we do it right. We need a plan". I said as I stood up and threw down my cigarette.

 

"So, we're going to war." I muttered to myself, "This'll be crazy, as you all know. What are we, a bunch of pre-blast PMCs? We haven't the money, the manpower, to do this."

 

The group was debating about what to do about from now, its not safe here and some where thinking about eliminating the whole Reich, but i knew better, "Hear yourself out, destroy the Reich? Not a great idea, if we do destroy it there will always be someone else to take that power for himself, humanity never changed about that aspect, there's always some to wage war against us for selfish reasons."
"The Reich wants to destroy us, yes, and from i hear we want to destroy them as well, but doing so will put all the metro at risk, we will be weakened from the fight and someone or something will take advantage of that, we need to focus whats at hand, I have sworn to defend the people and i will do so, till death comes to take me."
"We better think clearly about this, each action has a consequence, some are worse than others."
After saying that i looked at the bodies, both of them died and there's very little of use on them, some military grade bullets and some dirty rounds, nothing good.
"I got some bullets, anyone needs em?"

 

i sat there in my own thought looking at the dead bodies. They were dead alright. However this was going all so fast and i had no clue on what was the groups plan. I just met them a day before and they already got attacked. And worse of all they attacked me. Someone who never really had a bounty by the Nazis. i got up and went into my tent, 20 or so meteres away from this room. I grabbed my bag and slung my G36 over my shoulder. I entered he room with the 'Group' and sat down for a minute. "So....Whats going on. Brief me on what you guys have in mind," i said slowly getting up and stretching. "Attacking the whole reich is a stupid idea," i saiid looking at everybody, "no offence but your just gonna get yourself killed. Doesnt matter how skilled you guys are they will outnumber you 10 to 1."

 

*I hadn't said anything during the whole incident, and was not surprised they had sent these thugs after me, but that they had attacked the guys, that did surprise me. I realised I was putting them at risk for something that wasn't their problem. it was time to talk. I lit a smoke, sat down on one of the chairs and with a heavy sigh started my tale*

'three years ago I was scouting for mutties close to Trubnaya, one of the supposed destroyed stations, only that it wasn't so 'destroyed'. close to one of the service tunnels I found a Reich scouting outpost. I got curious as to what they were doing there, so I spent about a week just gathering intel on them. one day I heard screams and saw a caravan of what looked like slaves heading towards them. carefully I followed them to a side tunnel. what I saw gave me nightmares for about a week. I knew I had to do my best to free them.

there weren't many prisoners, just three women and two men. they dispossed of the men quickly, but for the women it was much worst. I think you can imagine without me going into detail. The next night I sneaked past the two guards they left on watch and silently got into the 'prison', wasn't very difficult, since they were drunk. unfortunately, one of the women was already dead, and the other one was dying, in fact, she died on my arms, beaten to a pulp by them. that left Olga. she was badly beaten as well, but was still ok to move. I got rid of the guards and left that horrible place with Olga' I got up and continued talking.

'on our way out a nazi saw me, to cut a long story short, I had to kill him to get out. as I did the deed with Olga and Jet by my side, someone else appeared and started after us. his name is Glock, 'cause his favourite side arm is a glock, nickname no doubt. he's a 'trader' of some sort, slave trader more like' I snorted.

'the nazi I killed was his brother, and he swore revenge on me, by any means neccesary. we nearly didn't make it, but a pack of nosies suddenly came out of nowhere and in the confusion we managed to escape.

after that, Olga recovered and started working with me. we fell in love. two weeks ago, Olga left for Polis on bussines. she was supposed to be back within three days, but she never did. a nazi desserter told a ranger friend of mine that she had been captured, tortured and killed by Glock, as a warning to me that he would find me. I'm not one to shun away from trouble, so now I'm on a revenge mission' saying this I turned around, didn't want the guys to see the tears starting in my eyes.

'all this is not fair on you guys. there is no need to risks your lives for a cause that it is my problem. I will miss you all, since you are my comrades in arms, but I'll understand if you decided to let me go alone' with that I turned round to face them and sat down again.

 

"So you and Benji are all for this suicide mission?" I held my palm to my face. "You kids. Always on the side of what you think is all well and right and moral. In any case, I think it's time I kick the goddamn bucket while I can still call myself a man and not some whimpering dog left for the kennels."

I readied my Saiga and grinned. "This'll be fun."

 

*I noded in Benji's direction and smiled. looking at the rest of the guys, I waited to hear their decision*

'thanx Benji. it won't be easy, and I do agree with you, the only one I have a real interest in is Glock, but I'm sure his buddies will get in the way, and so be it. they will fall as well. this mission might be the last I ever go on, I might loose my life in it, but I will not turn back and run home to hide. I will fulfill the promise I made to her back to when I found her, I would kill anyone who hurt her. I always hoped I never had to do it, but now the time has come. I only ask of you that if anything were to happen to me, you look after Jet. she's a lovely cat and a faithful companion' I said with more control of myself that I had felt since I set off from home.

 

"So it's settled then, covertly infiltrate the "Reach" and take out Glock, or HVT. If we are to go anywhere we need to revise our equipment and supplies. This might look like a suicide mission, but I've been through hell and back and a challenge is always something i look forward, for our brothers and sisters in the metro!"

 

I didn't say anything threw out the whole conversation. I just slowly got up and lit a cigarette waiting for the group to set sail. "huh...more killing" I thought to myself.
