Joe told us how he also knew of a tunnel to D-6. He was probably talking about the same tunnel as Odessa. All of a sudden he fell to the floor and began screaming wildly. I did not know what to do about him. I wanted to walk over and knock him out with the butt of my rifle. He was attracting too much attention, screaming like that. Eventually, he fortunately fell unconcious before I could do that.

*I looked over at Joe and saw him fitting first, screaming and finally fainting. it was all we needed, really. we had Dark unconcious, and now Joe. I left my place on the wall and approached Joe's prone form*

'well, then may be we should head to Hanza. have a doc check them both out. last thing we really need is Joe fitting and screaming his head off in the middle of a Nazi infested station' saying this I approached Joe, and giving Sergei my gear excpet for Jet who had jumped on the floor none to pleased to be displaced from her perch, I put him over my shoulder and started to walk towards Hanza.

'if any of you could take Dark we can move out asap. it will take us about an hour to reach Hanza from here, and the sooner we are there the better' I adjusted Joe's weight and started walking

*I wasn't a very strong person physically, but I'd had my share of carrying people and mutties over my shoulders more than once. as long as he stayed still and didn't move all over it would be ok, tyring, but bearable. it would slow us down, but we had no choice. I wasn't about to leave any of them behind. I had a heart after all. I wasn't proud of many of my own actions in the past, and I did regrett a few things I had to do in my life, but at the same time, those actions made me who I was today, and I wanted to believe I wasn't a bad person. stubborn perhaps, very matter-of-fact most of the time, wouldn't put up with nonsenses, and I didn't suffer fools gladly. however, I wasn't a cold hearted bitch. at least I would like to think so. adjusting Joe's body once more I took the safety off my Sig with my right hand and made sure I could pull it out quickly if needed*

"Agreed", I said, and was quick to lift Darkbringer up onto my shoulders before anyone else had the chance. He was not a big man compared to myself, but he weighed a lot with all his equippment. I was surprised to see how Odessa carried Joe away though. Not only to see her strength, but also how she did not even hesitate on taking Joe with us. She never concidered leaving him there, liked I did for a couple of seconds. I made sure I had Boris' old revolver safely in my equippment belt. It was shining now, and working fully. Not like the way it used to be, but better. After it had been dealt with by the gunsmith in Prospekt Mira, that is. I followed Odessa out into the tunnels, and we were soon on our way towards Mendeleevskaya.

I am glad we were finally making progress. During our walk through the Metro tunnel to Mendeleevskaya we pass the maintenance access route I held up in during my childish episode. I stay back a moment to make sure the door is secure. I struggle to open it, but it does not budge. Now satisfied with the doors security I catch up with rest of the group. Within an hour we reach Mendeleevskaya's metal gates. When some of the Hansa officials recognize Odessa, we are allowed entry. Halfway through the station is a crowded market. As the group approaches the crowd I turn in front of them.

''Thank you for your generosity Benji. But this is where we part ways, I'm afraid. I have to take care of my business and find a place for Yuri to stay before I march onto D-6. Mark your path with the symbol. I'll find you.'' I say, offering my hand towards Benji and then shaking his.

I quickly move over to Odessa.

''Many thanks for your help. In return --.'' I remove a water bottle sized firework from my pack. ''Here. Launch this on the surface if you ever need me. I'll be there.'' I comment.

''Goodbye.'' I say, turning around. Yuri waves his tiny hand back towards the group as we disappear in the sea of people.

Is this Hansa stations one of the kind where we have to leave all of our weapons by the gate before going in?

I approach the thick steel gates with the escort of the two guards whom I'd tricked earlier. Two pill boxes stood on either side of the door with a cute little barrel poking out.
Continuing up a small ramp I come face to face with the gate keeper "Spring right?, we've been awaiting your arrival, but not for another day or so. Why the hurry?" he asks me.

"Business went smoother than expected so I thought id get some extra rest before debrief" I reply. He looks at me for a second then requests my papers and stares at them for only a second, saying "This is quite the clearance pass for a Sergant don't you think".
I looked him in the eye and replied "Having friends in high places has it's clear benefits, like high clearance passes, warm beds and exicution authority of anyone that asks to many questions...and extra vacation days of course".

He looks into my eyes and takes a long stare. Niether of us flinch. "Open the gate!" he yells as he finally breaks, "Don't make me regret it boy" he whispers as I pass by.

The cogs of the gate slowly turn as the door sqeeks open. "I actually made it in" I think to myself. Entering the station the first thing to be seen is a Panzer aiming it's cannon down the tracks. These guys are really on guard for something. Ignoring the enormous firepower guarding the tracks I dive deeper into the station. Soldiers fill every crack. Then again this was a war zone and was to be expected. But by god there had to be at least a hundred Nazi regulars in here not to mention the fabled Panzer.

Walking on I entered what seemed like the only quiet place in the whole station, the officers headquarters. A man stood behind a desk scribbling on a clip board, I approached him "do you have a room booked under Spring?" I ask.

The man seems calm as he checks his clipboard "Well yes but it isn't till tomorrow. However the rooms empty till then. Would you like to check in now?" he asks. Well I sure as hell couldn't be seen walking around out there so I decided saying low for the night was best. The Rangers wouldn't be here till morning even if they found my message.
"Sure, but please don't inform anyone of my presence. Im surprising a Friend for his Birthday and I'd hate for it to be spoiled"

The old mans face glows with a warm smile "Don't worry boy, I'll keep it a secret. Here's the key for you room, it's the last one on the right" he says. I thank him and proceed down the hall to my room. It looked quite clean and furnished but I guess Nazi officers demanded the best. I'm not complaining. Sadly for me I wouldn't be sleeping in the warm bed. Instead I sat in a chair cloaked in complete darkness behind the door. I couldn't trust this place for a second. It was bound to be a long night indeed.

I edited your quote a little, Steve. Remember to try to use this " sign on each side of what your character says, and remember to use comma and period properly, or it will be really difficult to understand what you are writing. Try and compare the quote of you in my post, with your original post :) And remember that you'll have to devote yourself a little bit to this. You'll need to post several times a week.

We eventually arrived in Mendeleevskaya, and the guards just peeked suspiciously at us. This was appareantly not a station where one had to deliver one's weapons away to pass through. I kept my eyes open in the station, none the less. Probably the whole Reich was aware of our presence in the metro by now, so if any Nazi spotted us in the station, we would be in trouble. We were not difficult to discover either; a group of heavily armed rangers. Who else could we be than the rumored one? As Fyodor made his farewells, I shook his hand and slightly bowed, in the typical Japanese way, like I always used to do. Like I still used to do, after twenty years in gloomy darkness. It is a habbit that I do not think I will ever get rid of.

Soon enough, there was a man approaching us, wondering if we needed any help on our journeys. 'Another Daredevil...' I thought to myself. The man certainly did not look like a Nazi, or their fake copies of bandits and the like. And we could use a lot more firepower, concidering where we were actually going. I looked over at Odessa.

After about 20 minutes of carrying Dark through the tunnel we finnaly made it to the station. It wasnt a small station, nor was is a large one like Polis or the other combined ones. The arches were wide and covered the enter length of the platform. The escalators that went up to the surface werent in the back of the station, but instead in the middle of the platform. Going up into the abyss. The airlocks were further up.

"So, what now. I say we get Dark some help."

PS. can u guys brief me where we are? lol i completely lost track what station we are in and what tunnels we just went through. thanks :)

After receiving a mysterious letter, the hunt for Glock will lead the group to D-6. The group walked the tunnel from Savelovskaya, where the lurker ambush occured, to Mendeleevskaya. Mendeleevskaya is a Hansa station that Odessa was able to get the group into. You are allowed to carry your weapons in the station. Dark and Joe, after he randomly collapsed, need medical attention. A newcomer has offered his assistance. Fyodor has left the group with promises to return. In all, the group is preparing to march onto D-6. Hope this helps.

Hours pass by as my eyes begin to droop in exhaustion. Still I sat in darkness behind the door enviously staring at the warm bed in silence. Oh how my body screamed for me to drop my pistol and crawl under the covers, but I couldn't close my eyes for a moment here. All I could do was wait for morning or the signal for action. I close my eyes for a second, then two, then three...

*Bang, Bang! Two suppressed shots ring out in the room and my eyes tear open in an instant. Across the room a cloaked man removes the covers of the bed to find he's killed a pillow. He jumps back in surprise and franticly spins around, aiming his pistol blindly at the darkness. I quickly take aim with my own suppressed pistol and fire three shots into his chest. The armor piercing rounds easily penetrate his Kevlar vest and he drops to the ground in a heap.

I don't move a muscle, trying to listen for any signs of alert from the rest of the station. Nothing. Finally I allow my muscles to relax letting the pistol and arm to dangle at my side. "Shit!, they know I'm here. But how?! I've told no one but the clerk of my presence and he was no snitch. Unless..." BANG!

Suddenly a pistol wraps around the door right into my face, interrupting my thought. I swing my head out of the guns path just as it fires. The point blank shot rockets passed my face and rips the top of my right ear clean off. It all happens in slow motion as I feel the heat wave blast my face with a deafening thud. This pistol wasn't silenced in any way.

Reacting I kicked the door with my foot as hard as I could slamming it against the gunman with a cracking sound. I jumped up from the chair and bolted across the room, over the dead assassin and bed. As I did so bullets began to rip through the thin walls beside the door. Knowing I couldn't leave that way I gathered all my momentum and slammed against the adjacent wall. It was surprisingly weaker than I thought and I found myself rocketing through the air in a cloud of dust and debris.

Collecting myself off of the hard floor I quickly began running through building after building trying to find a place to lose the soldiers. Finally I entered a room and hid behind some lockers. A few moments later two soldiers bursted in and began to search the place. Thinking fast I hoped in one of the lockers and closed the door, it was a tight fit but I had no other option. A soldier walked past and stopped for a moment. I held my breath.

Eventually he and the other soldier moved on and left the building empty handed. I flopped out of the locker and into the rest of the room. A door lead into another section and I walked through it hoping for it to lead to an exit. Instead I found myself in the middle of a makeshift laboratory. I looked around. It was dark except for one candle that stay lit on a table in the rooms center. I approached it and what I saw made my eyes widen and heart race.

It wad the object I was looking for. My main objective in this whole suicide mission. The same object whose image I carried on the blueprints from Glock himself.

It was a small canister sporting wires and gauges. It was smaller then I thought only about 6" long. My face lit up with a smile from ear to bloody Half ear. I reached out my hand and was about to grab it when a voice was heard from a dark corner. I spun around and faced the darkness. I know knew the what it was like to be on the other side of my own tactic.

Out of the darkness a figure crept out, pistol in hand. A woman in Nazi uniform. "I wouldn't touch that if I where you, Gena. It holds more power than you could ever imagine." she says. I raise my hands and keep calm "And just who are you supposed to be?" I reply. The woman doesn't reply for a moment "Lara"

"Lara. And what's a beautiful woman like you doing here?" I charm.

"Waiting for a their like you" she answers back.

"You better put that gun down before you hurt somebody, young lady"

She grins at me "I'm counting on it" *BANG!

I clench my chest as I crumple to the floor in pain. Everything starts to fade to black as I moan on the floor until darkness and silence surround me.

*after arriving to Hanza, Fyodor decided to leave. he gave me his 'infernal water bottle' and I promised him I would use it if needed. however, before letting him go I told him of a lady who run a market stall in the station, friend of mine, who would be able to look after Yuri. if Fyodor told Yanina he I sent them, she would make sure Yuri was safe. I also gave him instructions to meet us outside Mayakosvskaya in 24hrs' time, if he was still planning to come to D-6 with us. after saying our goodbyes I turned to the group*

'well, I suggest we find a doctor and have them check Dark and Joe. hopefully they'll be well soon enough to continue, if they wish to do so, that's it'

*as I made my way to the hospital I saw a stranger approaching us, offering his help. I looked at Benji and wandered at the newcomer. god knows we could use the help, but could we trust him?*

I saw a blurry scenery as I opened my eyes. A light, at the end of a tunnel. This is it, I thought. I'm dead.
I closed my eyes again, only to be waken up by chatter. It sounded like Odessa. But she hadn't been injured? How could she be in the world of the dead?
I thought of the stories of how heaven and hell were atomized by the nukes, and a sould had to remain the metro. This seemed like a plausible reason, but just to be sure, I whispered: "Am I dead?".
