You guys know that suppressed weapons have screws in the barrel that let them take a suppressor, right? You would not be able to just put them on your regular weapons.

Gunsmiths in the Metro probably comprised and made makeshift suppressors. So the suppressors in question are most likely not the bolted ones and rather ones that fitted multiple barrels of similar design. By now, pre-apocalypse silencers would rarity in the Metro, even for an armory like D-6.

The doors opened by the hands of the two guards nearby. We walked in confidently, as if we had already killed Glock. But it only took a few steps into the room for us to realize just how far we really where. Surrounding who appeared to be Glock was a large group of SS members huddled tightly around his table. It became clear that our task had just become that much harder seeing what challenge stood between us and justice.

Melnikov and Fyodor stood along side me, as well as our prisoner who had acquired the tools necessary for a Metro style revenge.

How we would get passed the crowd of officers baffled me for what seemed like a long time to me. Obviously we'd have to somehow isolate Glock from outside contact to avoid our own certain destruction. But how?. "If we.. weghj...fugsf... Think straignyt damgjlt" I attempt to think to myself. Words fall apart in my mind as I try to think straight. My vision starts to blur as I begin to struggle to balance my body. Somehow my body seemed to lose every ounce of energy in an instant.

Throgh the cold cloak of my skin I feel a warm ooze run down my face. It's obvious what it is, but at the time I had not the strength to wipe it. It was my hearing that faltered next, muting all noises except those coming from within. As much as I struggled to hold it all back and act my part in this twisted symphony it could be halted no longer.

My body teetered For the last time as I began to fall to the ground. My body bounced off one of the men surrounding Glock in a shove like manner. The floor came into view through the thick haze of my eyes in an almost slow motion manner. I could not muster the energy to break my fall with my arms or even close my eyes before impact, I had been completely crippled by an object smaller than piece of irradiated dust. How unfortunate.

My mind was in such a mess that I didn't even feel the impact of the floor nor the consequences of what I had just done. The face of my beloved Alisa, smiling at me as she always did. "Was she safe? or had I let her down?" where the only words I managed to pull out off my minds jumbled state. Suddenly another face appears from the jumble. The sweetest face I've ever seen, a young girl, hardly 8 years old. Everything starts to darken as I begin to lose consciousness. Only a whisper can be heard as I slip under. "Don't go daddy.. Don't go".

Handle this now complicated situation however you so choose, but remember, my character is still alive, but not for long. The virus has dealt a hard blow and will continue to destroy and spread if not contained.

guys, you need to set things into motion now we are inside his office, since I can't move until someone gets my cuffs off, and we carry Gena into the office as well

*as we came into the room a dozen or so officers turned to look at us. silence across the room, like never before, and Glock, standing up from his seat*

'long time no see Herr Glock. we have business to discuss, have we not?' I said in a spiteful tone

*through the corner of my eye I saw Gena going down. we needed to act fast, and for that I needed to get Glock on his own, and knew just how to do it. Glock's face betrayed nothing but rage and cold vengance. approching me without even looking at my 'scort' he slapped me on the face, making my vision go blurry momentarily, but nothing that would put me out of action yet. I could touch the gun in the small of my back and just needed one of the guys to undo the cuffs discretly. but first, we needed to get rid of our 'audience'*

'I see you keep surrounding yourself with a bunch of clowns. what's the matter Glock, are you afraid of little me, hundcuffed and with an scort?' I said to him spitting blood from a cut on my lip as I spoke.

*my goading had the desired effect, and quickly he dismissed his cohorts and it was just the guys, myself and Glock. he quickly went to his office and indicated for the guys to take me there*

I glanced at Gena as he wobbled on his feet for a moment, and then barely suppressed a gasp as he collapsed onto one of the officers who were surrounding what I guessed was the man of the hour, Glock. The officer pushed him away in disgust, and then delt him a kick to the stomach, cursing him for being "drunk" on duty.

Glock walked around the table, the officers parting before him, and smacked Odessa on the face. "Why is she goading him like that? Oh, smart girl, good job." I thought as I watched the officers file out of the bar, leaving only the 5 of us.

Glock walked to a door at the back of the room and waved us forward. I looked over at Gena, wondering if I should help him, and then turned to follow behind Odessa to the office. We had to get her unlocked, but Fyodor was the one with the key. At least, I hoped he was, and not Gena.

Stepping inside after the "prisoner", I moved to the side of Odessa and slightly to the front, to try to block Glock's view so Fyodor could do what he had to. It was a small office, only 20ft by 25 ft or so. There was a rather simple metal desk in the middle of the room, facing the door, a pair of chairs behind it, and a bank of filing cabinets along the back wall.

Standing in front of one of the filing cabinets was a person in Nazi uniform, going through some of the files. As we walked in, she said to Glock "Just returning that file on Gena, sir." That voice was so familiar, I could have heard it last yesterday instead of years before. It drowned out everything else.

As she turned to take the group of us in, Lara smiled and asked "Now what do we have here?"

Gena fell to the floor harshly. "So .. not the sniffles" I thought to myself. I do not go to help him up, I do not dare to move. We have caught Glock's attention. Now what feels like an army of fascists are peering down on us. Odessa exchanges words with Glock, she soon gets a slap to the face. My stomach curls inside when his hand impacted her face. The officers abandon the room on Glock's order, which made this mission a whole lot easier. We followed Glock into his office. Using Melnikov as cover, I release Odessa from her cuffs before Glock could take his seat. I then walk out of the room and crouch down next to Gena. I remove my balaclava and pull Gena's up a bit, the trim rest on his forehead. Using two of my fingers, I check his pulse. He is alive, good. One less thing to worry about. Sending a few gentle pats to Gena's face, I try to wake him up.

"Gena. Come on. Get up. This is almost over." I whisper to him. "What the devil is wrong with you? Gena, wake up."

I walked past the corpses, giving the bloody mess a short, disgusted glance and then quickly turned my gaze towards the box with various gun attachments. Searching through the box, I found all sorts of strange apparatus and tools. I had no idea what most of it was used for, but it looked much more advanced than what you'd usually find in the metro. Now I knew why this D6 place was kept so secret. Finally, I managed to find a suppressor that fit my Walther. It was a German weapon, so this was probably the only place underground where I could find a silencer for it.

I put the silencer in the same pocket that I held my Walther in; there was no need to attach it to my weapon just yet. For now, I was going to use the carbine that Odessa gave me. I wondered how the other part of the group was doing. Although I barely knew them, I hoped they were safe. The unpleasant atmosphere present in Neo-Nazi territory was still making me feel sick.

When everyone seemed to have grabbed what they needed, I flicked off the safety of the rifle in my hands and moved outside, looking to the right down the hallway, hoping that Steve was covering the left. I waved for the others to follow. We made our way down the hallway and down a set of stairs before we reached the second ventilation system. In we went, and crawled for another while that seemed to last half as long as the last time we crawled. We eventually dropped out of the ventilation system on the sixth floor, in a hallway that went onwards in a long curve to the left. My pulse was rapidly increasing, and I could feel the moisture in my palms making my grip around the rifle unsteady. I took out the blueprint and had a look at it. "The room I pointed out earlier is three doors down this hallway", I said in a whisper loud enough for the whole group to hear.

I was surprised when Steve suddenly decided to open the first door and shoot whoever was inside, and then asked me to to the same on the second door. "Why are we doing this?", I asked him.

I sighed to myself in a frustrated way before I calmed myself down and answered him. "If we are in a hurry, we should go directly to the Toxin room and destroy it, and don't kick down every random door just to kill Nazis", I explained to him before I motioned for us to walk down to the third door.

edited the post slightly so I'm the one giving Gena the antidote, since Fyodor is not here at the mo.

*there was another female officer in Glock's office. she turned to Glock and said something about Gena's file, and then she seemed to recognised one of the guys. that was not good. Fyodr had undone the cuffs and before anyone had time to react I had Glock on a neck lock and my gun pointing at his temple*

'well now, tell your friend there to be very quiet if she values her life. and you and I my 'friend' are gonna have a liittel 'chat' about a common firend of ours' I said to him while I cuffed him with the same cuffs I had been bound with.

*I cuffed him with his hands behind his back and onto the chair and opened the draws in his desk. there, on the second draw was what I was looking for. it was not even locked. so sure was he that no-one would get this far. pulling out a little vial with a blue liquid and a syringe I prepared I shot and injected Gena with it. I walked towards the female and, taking her weapon away, I cuffed her as well with her own cuffs to a pipe on the wall*

'Fyodor, Melkov, keep an eye on her. I just injected Gena with the antidote, he should be feeling better soon' I said to the guys, looking back at Glock, whose face now registered a mixture of fear and conffusion.

The situation was serious, tense and dangerous. The whole metro was at stake. That was why I had to give Steve some credit for his humor. None the less, I shook it off and kept walking to the third door. "Here we are", I said and positioned myself on one side of the door. "The honor is yours", I said to Steve as I motioned for him to kick open the door, seeing that that was what he was lusting for.

Rummaging the various lockers and containers in the armory for silencers and whatnot, I came up empty, whereas the others seemed to find satisfactory equipment to their guns.
A little bit frustrated I looked across the room and my eyes fell upon a shiny, transparent object under a table, curious, I looked beneath it and found a small plastic bottle. An idea unfolded in my mind. From a nearby bench I grabbed some rags and stuffed the bottle full with it, and placed the bottle on the muzzle of my battered Aks; it fitted nearly perfect, and taped the homemade suppressor onto the pipe. Giving off a proud grin at the look of my handiwork, albeit I was a bit unsure whether the construction would actually work, I let the gun hang from my shoulder, waiting for the rest of the group to get ready to move on towards the toxin.
As I waited I wondered how things went for the other group going after Glock. I offered a quick prayer to their success to the invisible watchers or any deity willing to listen as the group got ready to move down a hallway.

At the first door Steve suddenly kicks in a door and kills all the people inside, then asks Benjamin to do the same to the next door who replies with the question why. Steve answers with how they used that tactic in the army he served with. I scoff silently at the words I hear. Using a tactic like that would be careless and not end well. Benjamin then remarks that we should hurry to the toxin, not wipe out every fascist on the way. Steve just jokes it off as we move our way to the right door and position ourseves to breach. I pull out my now silenced -74u and stand nervously at the ready behind Steve.
