When I heard the ranger say that those men were after me, I shivered. The simple thought of them being so close to kidnapping me again was terrifying and another opportunity to remember the messed up events from the past week. Hearing the stalker present his theory with so much confidence made me think that they were about to throw me out of the group already, but I was relieved to know that this did not happen and the attitude of the group wasn't negative towards me. I was not sure if the ranger was right, but he could have been. I thought I had covered my tracks well, but there was no way to know for sure. The men who were pursuing me could have hired a group of experienced combatants to track me down themselves.

"I didn't get a good look at them, so... I don't know. You could be right." I spoke to the man with dreadlocks. I then walked to the wounded man, thanked him and returned him his helmet, saying: "Thanks very much, but I think you'll be needing this more than me after all." I smiled slightly. When I heard that everyone was calling me 'kid' or 'girl', I realized that I still hadn't introduced myself to anyone and did not know anyone's name either. "By the way, my name is Polina... will you tell me your names?" I spoke to the group quietly, lacking confidence.

I stood up and took my hood off of my head to reveal my short brown bedhead hair. I walked over to the girl who had introduced herself as Polina and starred into her eyes. A big grin comes across my face. I turned around and began to introduce myself to the group. "Hello. My name is Anton Oborin and I come from a little known station you might of heard of it's called Polis." I said with a straight face.

I sat back down just before my legs gave way. I began to think about my friend who had just died in the hospital bed. "Nikolai I'm doing this for you and the rest of the people on the caravan" I whispered to myself. "I will avenge you, everybody else on the caravan and those who killed in cold blood by the Communists, Nazis and Bandits. It will be tough but with this group we will be able to withstand almost anything." I whispered to myself.

I jumped up from my crouched position and stealthily crept my way out of the room. Befor I could even think about placing demo blocks anywhere I first needed to acquire some explosives, and a lot of them. Only one place came to mind when thinking of explosives and it was of corse the stations armory. Luckily enough for me it was only 7 minuites away (creeping time that is) from my current location. Hopefully it wasn't heavily guarded or deep in traffic, my plan and life depended on it.

Just as I had guess-timated 7 minutes was all it took for me to creep over to the side wall of the armory. And peaking around towards the door I spotted what I had been fearing yet not quite what I was expecting. Instead of there being one or more armed guards at the armories door a sort of... lounge existed in-between me and the door. And manning it's sofas and stools slouched four men announcingly drunk, 'stoned', lazy and incompetent. They gazed unflinchingly into the dying flames of a fire, speaking stories and words of an unintelligible language.

I sighed in relief of how easy this task had just become and stood up, casually walking towards the 'Dazed and confused' group. I had seen plenty of men like this in my home station many years ago. Not even a gunshot could shake them out of there dream land. I calmly strolled past the group uttering a simple "Hey.." as I past by unchallenged.
Opening the steel doors of the armory I emptied a small duffle bag and began to stuff it full with the stations explosives reserve. Most of it appeared to be pre-war Semtex blocks mixed with a few HE grenades. I gladly took both. before I left I looked down at my weapons and realized how out gunned I was. So turning back into the room a searched the racks looking for something quiet. "AK's, nope... Shotguns, big nope... A-ha!" I mumbled. Finally making my choice I grabbed one of two AS Val's from a rack along with five 30rd mags. I dropped the Rex I had picked up earlier in exchange for a GSH-18 to which I was more suited and grabbed three clips filled with AP rounds for it. And lastly before leaving I put on a fancy looking vest of armor to save me from more gunfire the likes of which still throbbed in my chest and ear.

At last feeling satisfied that I had enough gear to once again call myself a soldier I walked out of the armory, closing the door behind me. Once more strolling past the group of Wasted guards, most of which had passed out by now. "Well that was easy. Now for the tough part". I thought to myself. The laboratory was bound to be my first target, hopefully It could yield a cure for my most unfortunate disease before I blew it sky high.

Anybody else find it funny that both Fyodor and Gena have acquired ballistic vests? Its like they expect to get shot;) (sarcasm on my part, sorry). Also, just for new people's reference, Melkov is carrying around a duffel bag (with some extra guns, ammo, and grenades in it) that he will drop during a firefight and you can use if you want.

So, the new people were Anton, Steve, and Polina. I introduced myself to each of them in turn, shaking their hands.

"Might not be the best time to be teaching her to shoot, Steve. We are still fairly close to Hansa. Though, if you think you could use a rifle Polina, I have a few extras." I indicated the duffel bag's strap over my shoulder as I spoke.

"I would agree with Odessa. We need to get moving to the next station. Those guards back there may warn certain people that we are coming." I spoke quickly, the words tumbling out in a clear but rapid manner, like always when I got nervous. That had been too close of a call back there, but from what I had seen, the group liked to make decisions collectively.

So, I tried my best to push away the urge to go running down the tunnel and waited.

I was surprised when the man named Steve arose despite his wounds. Perhaps his coat contained a material which slowed down the bullets enough for him to endure the pain, or perhaps he had a certain lack of feelings. Either way, I did not take my time to make a big deal out of it. "My name is Benjamin Soprano. This is Odessa and her cat Jet", I said as I gestured towards the woman with the cat. "Darkbringer and his aquaintance Wojcie", I continued and gestured my hand towards the man with the black hooded sweater and the big man. "Joe", I said and pointed at the scientist. "Grigori Melnikov, referred to as Melkov", I gestured towards the man with the duffle bag. "Then there is our new official member, Anton, and our new unofficial member, Steve here", I gestured towards the two new men.

"I agree with Odessa and Melkov, though. We will be moving now to get to the next station before the news about us arrives there. No one will leave the group to have a drink or some food, or to buy anything at all. We will walk straightly and directly to the far exit of the station, and wait there for Odessa to bring Fyodor to us. Fyodor is a boy in his teenages whom we bring with us with great hesitation only because of his skills and knowledge. I strongly suggest we leave the girl in that station", I finished before I began walkind down the chilly tunnel.

To be fair stalker, you misspell things all the time and you dont have the decency to go back and edit it. So dont judge.

And Steve, that is no excuse for why you give no clear indications between dialogue and character actions.

Well, my character has already been shot twice since entering the station and that wasn't even during any major fire fights. So I think I would grab a vest given the chance.

"No, Benjamin is right." I replied to the rest, refusing to accept Steve's weapon. "I appreciate your concern, but I know that I will only be a burden to the group. I am already grateful to all of you for helping me to escape that station. Even though it was your shot that attracted their attention and brought them to us, it is probably thanks to this that I survived, since the men gave away their position. I had no idea that they followed me all the way to Hanza territory. I was only suspecting it and was completely unprepared. Wherever you're going from the next station we reach, it is probably even more dangerous for me than travelling alone." After a bit of thinking, I realized that everything I had just said was completely counter-productive. Sometimes honesty hindered my progress greatly.

My next plan was to stick with these rangers until we reached the next station. Until then, I had to come up with something else to say that would completely negate what I told them earlier. How daft.

The wind howls against my face. I must have been driving for a good two hours now. I past several Hansa checkpoints and bandit camps along the way, but the bike was fast enough to soar by them before they could even fire off a shot. Gas is low, the indicator flickers. I pull off into a side tunnel, not far from Mayakovskaya. This tunnel is collapsed halfway down. A doorway is mostly blocked by rigid cement of a former walkway, yet there is a small gap that is just the right size for me and my bike to squeeze through. I slide in and glance around. A rail switch control room by the looks of it. I lean the bike up against a wall and walk over to one of the several console. Many layers of dust pile over it. Cobwebs block the screen and buttons. I part the silky string and try to see if any of the console can be recovered. Scholars in Polis pay big money for old world stuff like this. Sadly, I cannot, the machine is completely broken. I frown, turning back to the bike. Removing my bag from the bike, I exit the room. I then block the gap with a large slab of concrete and head back down the collapsed tunnel. It does not take me long to reach Mayakovskaya on foot. The station's gates are empty and worn down. Caravans use transit stations like this as meeting places, yet not a soul occupies the area. Goes to show how fucked up thing have gotten in the last year. I walk through the deserted station to a small room in the back, a tiny bunker with a blast door, most likely meant for a single individual or small family. Another blast door awaits inside, a side entrance to Metro-2. Odessa will be coming through it soon to find me. I secure the first blast door behind me and quickly make a small fire. I cook the leftover soup from Mendeleevskaya and eat it with my pork, bread, and a half empty bottle of bourbon I found on the surface. With a full belly, I clean up after myself. I sit down near the fire, leaning back against the wall with one leg flat and the other bent. I take the revolver from its holster and place it on the bent knee, pointing the barrel at the second blast door which sits in front of me. Then I wait.

I decided to not take anyone's side in the argument between Steve and Polina. I began to wander down the dark tunnel with Benjamin. I made sure to stayed back from anyone to allow myself and them to think about what is going on and what is going to happen next.

As I walked through the tunnel I realised Benjamin had actually called me an official member of the group. "Yes." I whispered to myself. I wonder if that means I am a Ranger now I'm going to have to ask later. I saw a dead body lying on the ground with bulled heads in his head. "Hmm" I thought to myself "Come over here everybody I found a body with bullets in it's head. It looks about two days old. I think this person was killed by Nazis or possibly Reds we are close to the Red Line." I called out to the others.

I took and bullets he had and passes the Military Grade Rounds around to everybody. "Take these." I told them. I then started heading back down the dark and eery tunnel.

Umm .. I'm not offended. Why would I be? You were telling Steve to fix his grammar, which was ironic because you need to fix yours. All I did was point out the hypocrisy. Why would I be offended?

Also, why are you using swype? And I think you can turn it off, if not just push every single letter like I do, it takes longer but it helps.

dude, just chill. I was just saying I'm not offended, I'm not sure why you thought I was mad or something. I did not know you were using your phone, you said swype. Swype can be on a phone, iphone, ipad, and several other touch screen devices.
