yeah, sorry, pc went silly. it does that sometimes, and tbh, I hate using the internet on ps3. but all is well now. I agree about random attacks happening, either mutties or humans. want to say, no mutties in D-6, since it was sealed and only humans managed to get in. so, let's keep going.

*I was glad to have Sergei and Fyodor back in the group, god only knew what we were about to face. I'd gladly face a bunch of mutties any time of day than a bunch of deranged Nazis, but that was life. D-6 was crawiling with them and we needed and entry point, and not the main entrance for that matter. I offered my AKs-74u to Polina, it was light weight and had a scope and silencer attached, so she would have something a bit more powerfull than her Walter if she needed it*

'that is for you Polina, my spare AKS. it's light, has an optical sight and a silencer, so you will have no problem with handling it' I said giving my AKS to her.

'right, glad to see you up Steve. now, my plan is for us to get to the next junction here' I said pointing to a fork in the tunnel behind the room Fyodor had been in, 'from there, is a five minute walk to the ventilation shaft leading onto D-6 itself. it will take us to what used to be a control room, on the far end of the main concourse. I do not know how many men Glock has there, but I believe we might be talking about 70 or so. I do not want to kill every single one of them, just Glock, and whoever else gets on the way, and maim them enough to put their plans in jeopardy and set them back at least half a year. there is something going on down there and I want to know what they are up to' I said folding the map and putting it back in my pocket.

'now, any more thoughts about this? I do not need to reiteraite the importance of stealth in this mission. our lifes depend on it, so no grenade tossing at anything. use silenced weapons if you have them, if not, try to mask the noise somehow' with this I opened my ruckpack and got a bunch of MGR ammo out of it.

'well, since it is xmas, I know since I somehow keep track of the dates, here is a present for all of you guys' I said giving them each 25 bullets.

'use them wisely guys. I know is not much of a present, but is all I could come up with in such a short amount of time, and enviroment'

Well, we had a plan at least. I accepted the rounds from Odessa, and put them carefully into my backpack. " I don't have a whole lot of silenced weaponry, so I'll hang back a bit." I said as I gathered up my gear and walked through the blast door. I kicked the fire out, not wanting its light to reveal our prescence, and then opened the next door and proceeded into the tunnel. My senses were on high alert, waiting for any sign of trouble.

As we came to the junction I gave Odessa a quick look as to which way we should go, but Sako stuck up his nose, smelled for a bit, then took the left tunnel. Then that's where we're going, I thought. We marched quickly, at least 6km/h.

Soon we arrived at the ventilation shaft, and I started carefully unscrewing the grid. Busting it open would be stupid, since we did not know how far away the nazis were. Maybe they even had guard posts stationed up in the vents? As I climbed up it became clear that this vent hadn't been in use, not even by nosalises, since it happened.
As we crawled through the shafts, my claustrophobic tendencies took effect, but then I thought of how it would be for Ben or Wojcie. I couldn't complain despite my relatively strong build.

I believe we crawled for at least twenty minutes, and it was quite tiring. My entire body gasped for space as I saw the grid to the control room Odessa had spoken of. Putting a single single finger in front of my mouth, I motioned for the others to be silent.
As I peaked through the grid to the control room, I saw at least 3 officers and around 10 guards. Dammit. One guard was patrolling just underneath the vent shaft, so it would be almost impossible to get in here.
I crawled slowly back to the others to tell what I had seen. "We have at least 3 officers and 10 guards in here, one of which is patrolling right underneath the grid. We need a distraction. Anyone of you up for crawling around to find another entrance and throw a rock or something?" I asked in a humble way.

I am at home in the vents, I'm not sure why. Yuri had always been a bit afraid of close spaces, yet I never shared that gene. I am lucky I guess. I crawl in the back of the group, seeing as I was the last one picked up, it seems appropriate. Dark asks for someone to crawl around and distract the guards. I look to my right down a shorter shaft. Barely am I able to make out some light around a corner. 'Now or never' I thought to myself.

"I got it." I call out from the back.

Shifting my body, I slide down the short air shaft and around the corner. I crawl for a few meters until I find another grid. Taking a quick look inside, I lift up the grid. I hop down inside and quickly check my surroundings through the iron sights of my ASK-74u. Clear, no need to sweat. Looking down, my foot is caught in a toilet. 'I'm in a fucking bathroom stall?' I think to myself. Trying to yank out my boot, I fall backwards against the stall door. The door flies open and I land on my back. I quickly check the area again, no one. 'Thank god no one saw that' I though to myself. Getting onto my feet, I go back into the stall and stand on the edge of the toilet. I put the grid back in place and hop down. Looking to the toilet and a small handle on the side, my curiosity takes the best of me. I flick the toilet's handle and a roaring sound occurs as water disappears down a hole in the bottle.

    "Unbelievable'" I mutter to myself.

The fascists somehow have plumbing in the Metro, something I've only heard about. It amazes me how the things of such little value in the old world mean so much in the new one. I leave the stall for the second time and push open the bathroom door. Peeking around the tunnel, I quickly move across to nearest corner. From where I sit, I can see four sentries guarding two metal doors with buttons consoles beside them. Three officers and five uniformed men stand around a table, muttering back and forth to each other. One sentries patrols the control room, his path directly under the vent. I look around and find an empty bottle. Quickly, I toss it further down the tunnel I am in. The bottles clashes with the concrete and I sprint back to the bathroom. Leaving the door open a crack, I see all of the sentries and officers move down the tunnel. Without any hiatus, I run from the bathroom, into the control room, and under the vent. Then I whistle.

A silenced carbine was just what I needed - small, light & mobile but also more powerful. But most of all, it was a whole lot quieter. If our mission was supposed to be stealthy, then I couldn't have used my pistol anyway as it had no suppressor. Steve lost consciousness only to get back up shortly after being briefly treated by Sergei, with some minor assistance from me. Knowing that there were others with superior medical knowledge and equipment to the little I had and knew made me feel a lot more confident about whatever was going to be ahead of us.

After a few short conversations, we made our way to a ventilation shaft and then through it just like Odessa instructed. Darkbringer said that a distraction was needed, so Fyodor gave us one. When we heard a glass bottle shattering somewhere in the room - followed by a short whistle - we started to quietly make our way out of the vents and dropped down into the room one by one. Once everyone was out, I turned off the safety on my new weapon and waited for my elders' next move.

Sorry so much, guys. Worst time to go on a sleepover ever xD I'm back though, so I'll do Benjamin's short sum-up of all that happened so far.

We walked down the tunnel to be meeted by a not too big pack of nosalises which our new aquaintances dealed with easily. A man appeared, who turned out to be Sergei. I wondered how he had gotten here, but I did not take my time to ask. "We are glad to have you back, Sergei", I said. Soon, we arrived at a room where the door was quickly opened from the inside. Fyodor hit Melkov with the butt of his rifle. I slightly laughed for myself at how awake and aware Fyodor seemed.

I noticed how Fyodor looked at the newcomers, and especially Polina. I suspected a sort of connection in their eyes, but I could not feel any of it at presence. "Where's Zhenya?", Fyodor asked. I took some time before I replied gloomily and regrettably "He stayed behind". I knew how much we needed the combat medical man on our journey. An awful loss. "Zhenya was our only med-", I was interrupted by Steve who suddenly fell unconcious. Sergei was quick to treat him in a surprisingly good way, and both Polina, Fyodor and Melkov assisted. I suddenly realized that Sergei would be our designated field medic. It was good to have him with us indeed.

When Fyodor asked if we had a plan, I went a little mute. I had no idea. Somehow, I had not thought of that earlier. Luckily enough, Odessa was quick to present it to us, and I was not surprised. Of course Odessa had a plan for it. Darkbringer mentioned nukes, and I suddenly realized that this seemed to develop into something more than just saving ourselves by killing Glock, but to save whatever life still existed. If we were to only kill Glock, we would stealthily move in, kill as few as possible, then get out. Simple. But I had a feeling that Darkbringer had a lot more in his intentions. If we were to stop the nazis from keeping control of D-6, then that would be a suicide mission indeed. I was not really sure wether I was willing to go through with that. Taking out Glock was our main thought for the moment though, and so we would do at the first.

We made our way through the tunnels and into a small ventilation shaft. We crawled for a long time, and my arms and knees were beginning to get numb. It was difficult to move through it, especially with my stuffed backpack with the long katana on and the long rifle on the side of it, both hitting the walls with every movement I made. Eventually, we finally arrived to the exit of the ventilation system, where Fyodor made his way around and managed to distract the guards by crushing some glass in the hallways. One by one, we dropped out of the ventilations and took combat positions. I took out Boris' old revolver from my holster and used it because it had a silencer, and my rifle did not.

"I am assuming that you are aware of what to do now, Odessa?", I asked in a whisper. I did not feel ready for this at all.

Guys let's not move too fast now. Aaron usually posts at around 4AM GMT, so it would be a terrible shame if we had already left this place by then.

Accept the 25 bullets from Odessa before I get ready to head down the tunnel. I check my silencer and scope is on my AK-47 before we start heading down the tunnel. I decide to stay with the group as we walk down through the tunnel in D6. Eventually we meet a ventilation shaft just before we go into it. I wait for four people infront of me to go then it was my turn. I lifted myself up into the ventilation shaft and started to crawl.

I made sure to keep up a good speed with the rest of the group to try and not annoy the people behind me. After about twenty minutes of crawling we finally reached our destination. Darkbringer told us about the amount of guards that were inside the Control room. Unluckily for us it was guarded by ten guards and had atleast three officers. This meant that the group needed a distraction. This time Fydor volunteered and crawled down another exit. Soon after he disappeared the sound of breaking glass filled the ventilation shaft and the room below us.

The breaking glass distracted the guards as they walked off to see what it was. I slid through the exit and land safely on my feet. Quickly walking over to the door way and stood next to it guarding it incase the guards and officers came back.

Are we doing it as the control room from the game?

We were here, inside of D6. As I dropped through the grating into the control room, I looked around. Banks and banks of... were those computers? I had only seen a few working ones since the start of this entire thing, and here was an entire room of them.

I shook my head as the rest of the group dropped into the room and started taking up positions. Keeping low, I made my way over to the table where I guessed the guards had been standing and peeked at its contents. There were a couple of maps of the metro, some papers written in a mix of russian and what looked like german. And there on top, a blueprint of the D6 compound. "Great." I smiled, picking it up off the table.

I hurried over to where Odessa and Benjamin were standing and handed them the map, keeping an eye on the door in case the guards returned. Then, I reached into the duffle bag and pulled out the RPD. Taking off the tripod, I threw the sling over my shoulder and stuffed the extra drums of ammo and the grenades into my backpack.

Then I made my way to a corner of the room and put the bag there. I did not know if we would be coming back through here to escape, but there was no way I was going to lug that thing around in the hours ahead.

Walking back to the group, I asked as quietly as I could "So whats the plan? How are going to find your man in here without getting caught?"

Emerging from the sewer like tunnels I swiftly crawled into a locker room. I had to hide behind a wall for a few minutes as I waited for the last of the Nazi's to leave. The instant they did I began to ransack every locker, not looking for treasures or bullets but instead a uniform. The first two didn't fit but the third was perfect. I slipped it on in an instant.

Looking in the mirror I thought I looked rather spiffy for metro standards, standing tall in my clean black uniform and stalhelm. I stuffed my Camo pants and anorak in my butt pack before I studied the rest of my gear, just to make sure it was up to Nazi standards. "Perfect" I thought to myself. Sadly, I was only dressed as a private so I'd have no command ability over any of the real Nazi soldiers.

I had to hurry so I left the room, slowly at first until a few soldiers passed me unsuspiciously. "Alright, on to the tank" I mumbled.

I'll make a bigger post later tonight.

I moved quickly yet inconspicuously across the platform, hidden under the cloak of a balaclava and swastika. The platform wasn't too busy but soldiers where definitely everywhere. The tank came into view, about fifty feet ahead of me. I grabbed my explosives containing duffel bag in anticipation as the Panzer came into arms reach. I looked around for a second waiting for the right time to slip the explosives underneath. "Now!" I thought as I jumped onto the tracks and threw two taped together blocks of Semtex, climbing back onto the platform with haste.

"You there, Private, Report!" I voice yelled near me. I cautiously turned my head towards the voice, hoping it wasn't directed to me. To my heart break an officer stood ten feet from me, arms crossed and eyes glaring. For a moment my mind pondered on how I should handle the situation but it suddenly became apparent I only had one option. I ran up to the officer and gave him the Nazi salute "Gefreiter König Berichterstattung Herr" I shouted. Mother always said her language would save me one day. The officer was quick to question me. "What are you doing on the tracks, Private?"

"I heard a noise, i thought it might have been the fugitive but it was just the rats, Herr" I reply.

"Ah, keen on the senses are we? What's your station as of now, Private?" he questioned.

I had to think fast for an answer that didn't seem so mind numbingly obvious. "I was ordered to bring the Panzer crew their rations and await for further orders, but frankly Herr, it's been two hours and I've received none. So I've been waiting here".

He smiled at the statement and grabbed my shoulder. "Well aren't I in luck. I've been told to find an unoccupied soldier for a patrol in an outer tunnel. And it looks like your the guy for the job".

He began to walk me to walk me to the east platform, chatting the whole way. I couldn't help but put on an a mixed face of astonishment disbelief during the entire walk. What the hell did I just get forced into? "there they are. Erik! I've got another one for you!" he shouted to another officer. Before he left me to my new friends he pulled me close and whispered "Play your cards right kid and I'll put you in for a promotion".

I managed to pull a smile and a pathetic "Herr ja Herr" as I pulled away. The patrol paid little attention to my presence (Thank God) as they jumped down onto the tracks. They all seemed to be Privates say for "Erik" the leading officer. Reluctantly I jumped back onto the tracks with them, lingering in the rear. We began to casually walk down into the tunnel into the endless abyss of darkness and blac.. Wait a minute. It's not dark at all!

The whole tunnel for as far as the eye could see (which with the light was actually pretty far) was illuminated with built in lights. "Damn, the Nazi's got it good here" I thought to myself. After only a few minutes of walking we passed a group of about 13 walking back to the station. The officers exchanged a few words before continuing his walk. We too continued to walk further into the tunnel for a minute or so until a control room came into sight in the not so far distance. Erik spoke "Listen up, we'll be guarding this here control room for pretty much our whole shift. That's 4 hours for all you ne guys *looks back at me*. We'll send out the occasional patrol further down the tunnel to stretch our legs but other than that it should be prett uneventful".

"Huh, ya right. He doesn't know what's coming. Do I? To the Rangers I'm just another Nazi grunt in a group of ten. I just had to hope the Rangers weren't going to slit my throat if I went to the bathroom. "Ah, don't be such a chicken Gena! What are the odds of them being here at this exact moment?... Yeah your right." I thought to myself. Either way I continued to linger in the rear, ready to throw my hands up at a moments notice.

The German translates into; "Private King reporting Sir" and "Sir yes Sir".

If you guys shoot at our patrol and I'm not around to post... Please don't shoot me! I surrender !!! Oh God!

As the voices grew louder, my confidence in the mission's stealth depleted. Finally, when my worry hit a tipping point, I rush over to the two metals doors along the back wall. I slam an empty fist against the big blue button on the wall's consoles. After a small amount of time, the two metals doors slide apart, revealing a very large elevator.

"No time to chat. Everyone in." I order, taking charge of the situation.

I then quickly walk over to Anton and pat his shoulder.

"Cover me, I've got an idea." I say, taking a position near the door.

I let the AKS-74u hang from my belt and wait for the patrol to pass by the door, in hopes of capturing a straggler. A guide through D-6 would make it easier to find Glock. As the patrol passes by the double doors and down the tunnel, most likely to scout out ahead, I silently come out behind them. Moving up to the man in the far back, I wrap one hand over his mouth while disarming him with the other. At the same time, I send a swift yet quiet kick to his ankles, sweeping him off his feet. Supporting the man's weight with my chest, I quickly yank him into the control room and motion Anton to follow. I drag the man across the room and into the elevator.

"Found us a tour guide. Up or down, Odessa?" I ask promptly.

Not a second after I reassured myself about my safety did I find myself being dragged into an elevator with a hand over my mouth. I was trying to decide wether or not to scream. Did I want to be killed by this Ranger or alert the Nazi's in an attempt to save my life. No, that would be foolish. My only hope now is that I would be able to explain myself and somehow convince them of my intentions. So for the time being, I'll play the damsel in distress.
