"I can tell", I said to Dimitri as I nodded understandinly whilst tapping my fingers on the table. "I have an offer for you", I said seriously while sitting relaxed on the bench. "After our massive loss of companions in D6 and before D6, I am willing to allow you to join our group on its next mission. If you are interested, that is?", I asked him.

Well, the government of Polis transported us to Polis after our glorious victory and killed Gena for treachery, while the rest of the group are pretty much split into groups in Polis, taking their time to do whatever they need to before meeting up at The Lone Ranger (a diner/bar/restaurant), so they can plan their next mission.

 

Of course not, as long as it's not too lore-hostile

 

"So this is where we part ways?..."

"I suppose so... Perhaps we'll meet again. At the end."

"Wouldn't be the first time, huh? *chuckles"

"...No. No it wouldn't. Goodbye and good luck"

"As to you, my friend"

And with those final words we part ways. I, headed for the great city. He, headed for whatever ly ahead.
I knew it wouldn't be an easy journey, with all the factions, Bandits, mutants and what have you, but then again it was never easy. Depressing even. I peer deep into the dark tunnel ahead, almost seeing it's very soul with my gaze. For a moment the thought of turning around and finding a different path flashes before my eyes and my body even begins to turn away. But in an almost instinctive way I throw my left wrist in front of my face and stare at the motionless hands of my watch. Their silent meaning known now only to me reminds me why I mustn't fear moments like this.

I surge into the tunnel with vigor and a slightly cocky swagger, my hand held flash light guiding the way. If I kept up the pace i used now I'd be at Polis in two days. And hopefully find those oh so fables Rangers. I had something red hot and smoky for them in mind...

 

I think you should wait till the group leaves Polis. Kinda like staring a new chapter in a novel...

 

I just realised something, My character is still holding those experimental toxin things in those vials and test tubes.

 

Making a new thread is completely unnecessary. We don't need a new thread for each journey. We're already at nine threads, which is a lot. We'll make a new thread when we're somewhere at 50-70 pages
