A role-play post?, but seriously we gotta start posting actual Role-play more.




Chistye Prudy disappeared behind me as I continued my march forward.
Lubyanka wouldn't be to hard to pass through as long as my new German made passport did it's job. Teatralnaya on the other hand would prove quite the challenge as is was the last opportunity to stop anyone before reaching Polis. I'd have to meet my contact by nights end.

The tunnel I was running in seemed quiet and clean, well travelled no doubt. Every now and then a patrol would appear ahead and greet me as I passed, some checking my documents or sharing in a break time smoke, but other than that, clean and quiet. Eventually Lubyanka came into sight and the sweet talking began. "what's your business?", "just passing through", "very well, you'll be escorted to the other side of the station", "fine by me".

As expected I was escorted by a single guard to the other side of the station and let go at the tunnels entrance. Everything went as planned, quick and clean. According to the stations clock it was 9:03pm on the first day of my traveling. Another quick walk through this tunnel and the real difficult part would ensue, getting through Teatralnaya.
As like the tunnel between Chistye Prudy traffic was fairly heavy For metro standards, a few traders here, some mercs there and the rest of the lot.

I approached the stations entrance and suddenly found myself in a small sort of line. Ahead of me people underwent the long process of document and personal searching while the rest waited their turn. Most of them where probably merchants or traders on their way back to Polis as I was but had probably gone through this checkpoint a hundred times, unlike I. After a minute or two of waiting the sudden preside of a heavy hand fell on my shoulder. I turned to see Ioseph, my contact.

Trying to keep out true actions unknown to the watching eyes of the nearby guards we played it off as if we were two long lost friends or relatives or what have you. We exchanged a few bullshit stories and rumors until it was my turn to be searched. Before I left him we gave each other a brotherly hug at which time he stealthily slid a piece of paper into my hands. "Good luck, Brother!" he said as he disappeared further down the line. I nodded then continued to the checkpoint.

Upon arrival I followed everyone else's example and emptied my guns into a tray followed by my rucksack and balaclava which was scrutinizingly searched. A man sat at a table nearby and requested my documents and nature of business. "I'm headed to Pol-", "Polis, So is everybody else. Anyway you must know the drill. Wait around 24 hours for us to do a background check before you can leave." the man at the table informed me.

Slowly I slid the recently acquired piece of paper onto his desk and gave off a little smile. "If you've been here long enough to know where I'm going then you know what that is and means." I added. He looked at the paper for a moment then back at me. He smiled. "indeed I do. And asking you how you got this would no doubt yield no truth, would it?". His words where sarcastic but friendly. He'd been around long enough to know a knave when he saw one but also long enough to know not to interfere with it. He waved to the guards at the gates as a signal.

Unlike everyone else I was able to take my weapons into the station and leave whenever I pleased, avoiding a background check, otherwise they'd see my German background in a heartbeat. However, instead of leaving immediately for Polis I decided for some random reason to sat the rest of the night and possibly next day here in Teatralnaya to fully prepare myself to face the Rangers. 1200 "little bullets" a head was a he'll of a price for one man, but in bulk?!, Hell!, you'd be a made man...

 

Dimitri nodded and simply answered "Yes".
"Very well then. We are glad to have you on board", I told him with a little smile. I raised my cup of wine for a toast. "To our new partnership".
Yes, we do really need to hurry up the pace. I believe Odessa should be back soon enough in order to roleplay furtheron with Darkbringer.
Polina should have that little "I wanna go with you guys"-talk with Benjamin before I'll have Benjamin go speak to the officer.

 

We finally reached Joe's sister's house and began to walk up to the door. While I was doing this I began to realise how familiar this place was but dismissed as the crazyness of the Metro. I made a loud knocking noise so that she could hear us and come and answer the door.

As I looked at her and realised that I had never met her in my entire life. "Hello." I said waving at her.

 

You guys mind if i join back in? If theres too many people then i can prob wait. Its all your guys's call. Thanks

 

"I got them in sight, well......Most of them. Yes sir. Yes sir i understand. Yes si.."

I took out my ear plug and slowly put it back in my bag. Weeks of searching finally lead me to Polis. The exact place i suspected for them to meet.

This "Group" has been a interest in many societies within the Metro. The Reds, the Nazis, and University. All have sent groups and men to confront them, and if it was the case, terminate them. My mission was simple. Observe them. Make sure they werent no threat to the people of the Metro. And terminate them if neccessary. Just like any other group that was sent after them. Only difference, they didnt know i was here. And i was all alone.

I got a little bit more comfortable in my chair. And i continued watching the current members of the Group. I slowly sipped my coffee and thought about my next move. All i had to do is observe. Those were the given orders from University. I was sitting across the platform parallel to the small shacks that were built as apartments and homes on the other side. Myself, i was at a rarely visited bar across the target. Noone ever came here. Who knows why. Maybe it was the atmosphere. Or maybe it was the owner. Who was a giant man no more than 6 foot 5. He was huge. With a beard that reached down to his chest. I only saw him for a minute when i ordered my coffee 20 minutes ago. And still, it was intimidating just to think of him.

I was given this mission about 4 weeks ago. And i spent around 2 and a half weeks investigating what this Group was doing, and where they were. All my research lead them here, to Polis. And when i got clearence, i made my move and came here myself. And here they were in person.

I sipped my coffee. They were right in front of me, yet, i could do nothing.

All i had to do is sit tight.

I suggest that you read the new rules of the roleplay, but you already know the basics so I'm not gonna force ya
I was also about to mention that you need to be devoted and active to be a part of the roleplay, but since your character currently is only an observer, that gives you an excellent opportunity to be present but also not necessarily post so often

"You go on ahead and do that, Steve. I have some personal business to take care of first", I said. And with that, I stood up and began to walk towards the exit of the bar, slowly approaching Polina's standing place where she seemed to be looking out at the view of Polis..
Last chance to talk with Benjamin about joining, Bamul Otherwise Polina'll have to go to The Lone Ranger and seek up Odessa and the others who currently are there. Or wait for Benjamin to finish his business.
