Stalker, what are you talking about. Everyone is met up. Benjiman, Odessa, and Fyodor are back with the group. Everyone who is not dead, captured, or lost is in the service room.

Melnikov asked me if I was going back for Yuri.

''Da.'' I reply bluntly. ''Need a lift?''

I glance over my shoulder towards Odessa, who is collapsed against the same wall as the bathroom door. I analyze her situation for a few moments before walking over to her. I remove my revolver from between her fingers and stuff it into the left side of my shoulder holster. I turn back to Melnikov but my eyes dart across the room when the doors flies open, in stepping Benjiman. A smirk forms in the corner of my mouth.

''Glad to see you decided to join us, Benji. I was starting to think we lost you.'' I say, focusing my attention back on Melnikov.

So after I pick up Yuri Im going to bail out. My character will be on the surface and Ill pop in if needed. Mid-terms start this upcoming Tuesday and I got to study. I need to make sure I start off the second semester right, I kind of slacked this first semester and my grades reflected.

Dark, is your character on guard duty or just visiting Mendeleevskaya?

well lets just say Sergei got lost on his way out of D6. As for the time being I really have little time for the roleplay so might as well take a break.

As Grigori carried me from one service room to the other I looked down the tracks to make sure it was clear. Thankfully it was. We entered the new room after a short jog and a moment of motionless staring, what it was I will never know.

Making our way well into the room we suddenly turned around to see Odessa collapsing to the ground and passing out. For a moment I thought that the virus had claimed her. But as Grigori leaned me on a wall and checked her pulse it seemed this was not the case. Either way I looked down at the cure containing briefcase in preparation.

After only a few seconds of leaning my legs began to ache and nag at me, so I slowly brought myself to the floor and sat with my legs stretched out. For the moment it appered no one was watching me so I quickly brought the briefcase to my lap and gently opened it. ....#! And gently opened it! .... I pulled and pulled on the handle, eventually disregarding gentleness and using all my might. But alas, it wouldn't budge.

Looking at it closer I could now see the heavy duty integrated lock that safeguarded it. It was then that I realized that who ever had cuffed the Brief case to me hadn't given e the keys to unlock either the cuffs or open the case. Once again I sunk my face deep into my hands, again feeling my face on only one hand.

At that moment the door creaked opened and a massive ball of dreadlocks poked through. It was obvious who they belonged to. Since Benji was the last person I remember seeing the Briefcase attached to I immediately jumped up and limped, even hopped to him in haste. "Benji, do you posses the key to this case?!" I asked rather threateningly. I didn't mean to sound that way but the combination of a raspy throat and mind boggling headache molded it so. Right now those keys are the more valuable then a 100 stalkers.

And just as Benji was about to answer, Fyodor stepped into the room from a door I had not yet noticed notifying the group that he was departing within the minute and offered to bring one other. I thought of the toxin attached to my wrist and how unsafe it was here, with this group. This job wasn't finished until the briefcase entered the right hands. I had comrades waiting in various stations, contracted to escort me to the proper place if needed. The only question was how I was getting there, and with who...

*slowly I opened my eyes, blurry objects in front of me coming into view slowly, and then the door opening and Benji coming through and slowly stopping in front of us. I smiled at him and nodded. it was good to see him, and the guys again. I had caught the end words of Fyodor, about going back to get Yuri, and thought briefly about it. this one was for the group to decided. Jet saw I was awake and headbutted me so eagerly thet her nose poked my eye, making it water slightly*

'hey girl! see, I'm still here, don't worry, but we'll have to get you new stuff, since I seem to have lost all my gear, but don't worry, we'll manage as always' I said scratching her ears, which earned me a long, loud purr.

*I looked around once more and managed to sit up against the wall. my body aching, my throat sore. it was then that I saw Gena struggling to open the briefcase. slowly I moved up to him and uncuffed the briefcase from his wrist, vaguely remembering it was Benji the one who had it last time. it made me think were had Benji gone, and why had he just appeared and not been here with the group when we arrived. but that would have to wait. as I opened the case I took another syringe with some more antidote and injected Gena with it. he would have been ok without it, but it would have taken him longer to recover. with this second shot, he would be virus free within the hour*

'you will be ok now Gena. the numbness will pass, and you will be able to function properly soon. you might feel a bit dizzy, but have a bit of water when you do, it will help the antidote work it's magic' I said to Gena carefully withdrawing the syringe, and closing the briefcase again, this time cuffing it to my wrist.

*I was about to get a smoke from my vest when I realised I had none, since my vest was with my stuff, somewhere in the depths of D-6. I had to go and get it back*

'guys, I need to go back, get my gear. I'll meet you back in Mendeleevskaya' I said with all the energy I could gather. but first, I would rest a couple of more minutes.

'anyone got a spare smoke?' I asked the guys hopefully.

Odessa was awake, I'm glad she was okay. She asked for a cigarette and explained her plan. It did not appeal to me very much. Other than the lack of reason behing every single person gonig back to the station we are probably hated by, there was the extra weight. Moving ten people, half wounded, throu--- ten people?! I scan across the room for a few moments. Dark, Sako, Woijce, Sergie, Steve, where are they and who the fuck are these new people? I pondered for a second, confused. I glance over to Benjamin, wanting to ask, but don't. At this point they were currently errelevent, at least to my situation. Sending ten people through a tunnel would slow progress and I don't know how much longer we can keep up like this. Odessa appears to have been literally swallowed and spit out. Benji was black from head to toe. Gena could be knocked over by a piece of paper at his current state. We needed to finish this soon, which is why it'd be faster if it were just another person and myself going to Mendeleevskaya while everyone else continues on. Confident on my decision, I speak up. That right is probably my favorite thing about the group.

''Sorry, Odessa, but you're in no shape to chance D-6 again. Other than that, the sad truth is that you most likely I won't be welcome in Mendeeevskaya for a long time, considering the stunt you guys pulled. Besides, the group should be moving to Polis." I say, nodding to the breifcase secured to Odessa's wrist.

I check my rifle and begin moving to the blast door that opens to Mayakovskaya's platform

''Belorussvskaya is just up the tracks and is an independent station, so you should get the best luck there. Once you get transportation just ride the Hansa line down to Kievskaya. From there its a straight shot to the land of the wealthy. I can probably convince the sentries to let myself and another in, so if anyone is planning on joining me then they should be on the platform in exactly ten minutes. I'll be waiting. And as for the smokes'' I say, forcing open the blast door before I turn back to the group, ''you ran me dry back in D-6.''

With this note, I step out onto the dim lighted platform and walk across. I hop down onto the forgotten tracks and wander the half mile to the collapsed branching tunnel. I turn the corner and continue down the tunnel, keeping my right shoulder along the wall. I would have lost the traffic room's entrance among the rubble if not for the mark I dug into the adjacent wall. Gripping the concrete slab, I lift it and toss it to the side. I go inside and quickly retrieve the bike. I return the stone slab to its position over the doorway. I settle my gear and prepare to ride back to Mayakovskaya.

The first happening that occured when I entered the room, was Gena limping over to me, frantically asking if I had the keys for the suitcase around his wrist. Eventually, Odessa uncuffed it and injected the antidote into Gena. Before that, though, he seemed like the world would have come to an end if we did not have the key to the case. I knew in my silent mind that he could have just asked a blacksmith to break the cuffs. Either way, I did not mention it, as he seemed to calm down from what I could tell.

I noticed how Fyodor was leaving, probably to go back for his little brother. I expected him to be back, so I simply just nodded at him. I did not have much strength to use my voice yet. Odessa, though, seemed desperate for smoke, despite how I could see that she had just inhaled an extreme ammount of smoke from the black look on her face. She said she needed to go back to get her gear. "That will not be necessary", I said before I lifted her gear off my shoulder, leaned over, and gently put it down on the ground in front of her.

"I must admit that my greedy need for survival was dependant on the remains of the precious liquid in the bottle in your backpack", I told her. "None the less, I have required your gear. And though you now are in need of nicotine, I strongly suggest that you rather drink some water instead for the moment", I finished as I lifted the water bottle off my belt and had a long drink from it.

It was then that I noticed the scientist, or doctor, from D6 was still with us. The strange weapon he possessed was something impressive that caught my eye. Having a closer inspection by view, I could tell that it was a string-based weapons, most likely to fire larger objectives. I also noticed another man who seemed like the typical ranger. He was sitting on his helmet by the fire, and the helmet seemed to have a similar design to the "mustang-airplane" that I had heard of, and once even seen on the surface of post-apocalyptic Moscow. It was of course crashed and partially wrecked, but I had been there with an older man who seemed to be familiar with the aircraft, and it had the same design as this stranger's helmet.

Standing there for a while without saying anything, I inspected both the weapon and the helmet, almost being in a flashback-like transe when seeing its design. Eventually, I shook myself out of it and looked at them both.

"Got something to say, dreads?", the man on the helmet asks me. "Who are you?", I simply asked him.

I was surprised that the man named Dimitri actually was the stepson of Steve. Why was he here? Had Steve told him to wait for him there?

"I am sorry to announce that we lost Steve behind us. My name is Benjamin, and this is the mercenary group that I am part of", I answered him in return. "What are you doing here, and why are you here?", I asked curiously.

*as I was about to get up to go back into the hell of D-6, Benji put my ruckpack and the rest of my gear in front of me. my eyes lit up and quickly I got out my Sig and put her back in her rightful place, in her holster on my hip. I could have kiss Benji right that moment, but it would have raised a few eyebrows, so instead I gave him a hug. I was about to roll up a smoke, but then decided to follow Benji's advice and had some water first. I rumaged through my stuff and found what I was looking for, an old Stalker patch from the Exclusion Zone, similar to mine. I put it in Benji's hand and nodded to him*

'don't worry about the syrup, I got some more stashed away at home, and I'm glad it helped you when you needed it most' I said as I sat down again.

*I got Jet's food out and fed her. poor girl, she must have been starving. and then the ranger told us he was Steve's son. I was sorry we had lost so many friends, and so, I got a small bottle of Brandy out, lifted it up and said a little prayer in my head*

'to all of you guys we left behind. May the Metro be Kind to your Souls' I said having a sip and passing the brandy around.

Sorry everyone! Like I said, I was doing exams during last week and had two more this week. Revision got in the way of things and the times that I did get on the forum, I was simply too tired to look into the RP and catch up. Today I had a really stressful history exam. The first thing I did after getting home today was fall asleep. Apparently, I also did some really weird things in my dream like trying to pull my own hair out. Anyway, could someone please summarize for me what has happened in the roleplay since my last post?

Welcome back. Hope you did good on your exams, I've got mine next week.

What has happen since you left:
    • The group left the vent and were in a service room.
    • Sergie, Dark, Sako, and Woijce have been lost, captured, or killed.
    • The smoke from the vent filled the room.
    • Odessa and Fyodor returned pretty bent out of shape.
    • The group left the service room due to the smoke and went to the service room where Fyodor was waiting earlier.
    • The group has stumbled upon Dmitri.
    • Gena is suffering from the effects of both the virus and two antidotes.
    • Benjamin has returned with Odessa's gear.
    • Fyodor is going back to Mendeleevskaya for his brother and is offering a ride to anyone who wishing to join him. So far no one has asked to tag along. If he has a taker, they should be on the platform waiting for him to return with transportation.

steve's stepson seemed calmer than his father. Perhaps he would be a good friend. "everyine ill go abd book some rooms for the night" I exlcaimed.
I then proceeded to walk into the station. It was a dirthole. Rats where everywhere. Staying here wasnt pleasent but we had too.

I woke up with a little bit of a headache. I should have sticked to the blunts instead, I thought as I massaged my skull. Soon enough I got up and went out of my tent and into the station. A massive crowd had gathered around a man who looked like your typical metro nomad. At first I couldn't hear what he was saying due to the chit-chat from the mass of people, but as I got closer I could make out a few words: "Mayakovskaya... Rangers... D-6 ... Nazis". I thought of the poster with phantom drawings of the ranger group. Yes, it was probably them. They were trapped in Mayakovskaya, as any group of more than two persons would be checked and rechecked to make sure it wasn't the ranger group. If it was, a prisoner exchange with the nazis would be the best bet at what the Hanzans would do.

The group is in an empty station right now, right?

Oh, of all of the pieces of bad luck. In all of the metro, here was one of the people whom I strongly wanted to avoid. Dmitri's response did answer my earlier question of whether Steve had any family, though it made me blanch a little; I hoped it would not be visible under all of the soot on my face.

Walking across the room, I unzipped the duffel bag and pulled out the AK 103 within. It was in better condition than the crappy Nazi AK 47 that I had with me, which I leaned in the corner. Then, coughing into my hand, I walked out of the room onto the platform of the station, anxious to get out of the room. I muttered to anyone who cared to listen that I was going to have a look around.

As I stepped out of the room, I continued down the platform. Sighing heavily once I was out of ear shot of the door, I went to about midway down the platform and down on it, my legs dangling over the edge above the tracks. I watched Fyodor get what looked like a motorcycle out of another room for awhile. After a few minutes, once I felt like I was more collected, I walked back to the service room. As I approached, I heard Joe say "Everyone, I'll go and book some rooms for the night." His voice was loud in my ears, even from out here.

"What the hell is he talking about?" I thought to myself as he walked out into the station. We were standing in the middle of an abandoned station, which was entirely barren except for ourselves and the rats. "Where you off to Joe?" I asked, moving to follow him.

The people with me in the service room, some from the vent and some others, were talking, greeting and discussing now. Not to weird, as I heard they had lost quite a bit of people in D6.
Some seemingly wanted to leave, I was sure they had their reasons, and I simply sat on my crate for a while.
The man who had crawled in front of me in the vent came in, and exchanged some words with the woman with the tamed mutant or whatever it was, and she in turn pulled up a bottle from her backpack. A toast. The guy who'd been sitting in the room when we arrived passed it to me, and I took it and looked at it.
"Seems fair enough", I mumbled to myself, taking a sip of the liquid.
It certainly got out the taste of the smoke, and gave a relaxing feeling at that.
"Even though I did not know your friends, I hope their souls can escape this place, and find somewhere better. If there is", I concluded, as I passed the bottle on.
