I'll go ahead and recommend WoW. Been around awhile, but still an amazing and one of the best MMORPGs of all time.

Didn`t know that Hearthstone is actually going on that same route. Weird, this coming from Blizzard, as if they did not already have enough paying customers and earning millions each month.

Dunno if anyone else suggested it yet, but I suggest trying out Vindictus. It's a f2p and it's a pretty awesome game!

I have also played it although now I haven't had time in the last months however I could seriously recommend it. It is definitely one of the best free to play games existing.

I was looking for a new MMO to play myself, though I've never heard of this one. Mind giving me the run down on what it's about? I kinda disappointed about the lack of cyberpunk MMORPGs though and before anyone mentions it, I've tried Shadowrun Returns and found it...lacking to say the least.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you want something casual with lots of PvP GW2 is your best bet. I've sunk more than 3000 hours into the game prior to taking a break. If I didn't have real life harassing me I'd easily clock 10k hours by now and I'm not even remotely close to being a PvP fiend either. I'm more of a PvE player if you can believe it haha.

That being said- it's all a toss up honestly. SWTOR is good for storyline playing but past that point you have to pay to experience the end game stuff. Wildstar's gone free to play and so has Elder Scrolls, so it's worthwhile checking out for a bit. Final Fantasy 14 is very story focused/driven, it's not a PvP orientated game and requires a sub. WoW is aging- it's pretty casual friendly and with the new token system in place you don't have to pay for a sub as long as you can make the gold to afford it. Overall WoW is the most established for a reason with lots of content and offers PvE and PvP options. Rift, Tera and Aion are free to play as well but for me personally they didn't capture my interest as much.

I would suggest DotA2. It is a highly competitive game with regular updates and a large user base. It is a bit difficult to learn in the starting but once you get used to it, you would find yourself having lots and lots of fun enjoying the game.

Skyforge is promising, but nevertheless deceiving at the same time as well. It's a good idea, although a bit ripped off, that could've been developed better. Instead, they took the easier way out to making profit. Too bad for them!

How is it deceiving? Ripped off from what? What about the development could have been better? Why is the way they did things the easier way to profit and what was the alternative?

I would recommend Firefall. The game was released in 2014, so not too old. It's an MMOFPS with RPG elements, you use projectile weapons, jet packs and class-based abilities. The quests are entirely dynamics, you'll find broken engines to fix, mining resources by thumping (which attracts a lot of mobs on the way) and the tug-of-war mechanics with the AI is great. You're constantly fighting to get back parts of the map invaded by the enemies, and it makes for a great feel of the battle.
