Stutters ruining the game!

    Has there been any Dev response to this issue? I can't find one except for the AMD users having problems but that isn't the case here. I can't find any formal acknowledgement of this stuttering yet it seems to be rather common already...I really don't want to shelf the game and wait for a patch.

    Im hopeing this thread will bring it to thier attention soon. Hopefully they do read these forums. It sucks that i have a game i payed for that i really want to play being a virtual paper weight in my hard drive at the moment :(

    I have created a vid showing the stutters. Since I havent posted 15 times yet youl have to copy and past this into your browser.

    You can see right from the start of the intro how bad they are and from the words on the main menu and the mouse movement when choosing the chapter.

    Please devs helps us out :(

    I think I posted to wrong thread, so I give you a link to my experiences with LL.

    My problem was for example Logitech gaming software if you have a LCD device from Logitech.

    I have a logitech mouse but disabled any logitech software that was running...Is the hardware itself the issue? If so then that's rather annoying. You'd think such a mainstream brand would be tested.

    If it's software then I haven't a clue because I've tried my hardest to make sure nothing logitech is running other than the mouse itself. :eek:hwell:

    Yeah, I don't get it either. I paid for this game and I'm willing to be patient but some sort of official response would be nice. I admire the devs for all they went through to make it so I'm sure they'd want us to be able to play it.

    No, ist not the Hardware itself, but the Software in combination with G-Series Keyboards. LL has some kind of LCD Applet wich causes lags.

    Just search for Metro LL + G19. There is a good Explanation for this Problem.

    Thank you. I read a bit about it. Not seeing any real solutions though unless I'm missing it. I assume with it being recognized it'll be patched or something soon. It's rather late/early in my part of the world so I'm honestly too exhausted to see anything other than "disable Lcore.exe" which isn't my problem apparently.

    Glad to see some form of progress on the problem before I pass out though. Been working my ass off and would love to relax a bit and enjoy this recent purchase.

    As I mentioned in the other thread. This only worked for me one time.

    I even changed my G700 and G19 to standard hardware, but no better performance.

    I hope 4A will patch this soon.

    I have g110 keyboard and Razer mouse software always running in the background. I turned them both off and it made no difference.

    Just want to say im also having this problem and im running a overclocked 680 classified 4gb and a i7 920 @ 4.3 ghz. No fps problems on 1920 x 1080 with all max settings and ssaa 2x

    I want to throw my hands up for this issue too! Im running sli gtx 680, i7 3770k, 16gb ram, and im experiencing the stuttering too! Surely the game isnt THAT cumbersome, bugs to be fixed with updates???

    There are a lot of people with this issue, unfortunately. On Steam I collected a ton of different PC configs from people who reported it (thanks if you left it in the big issue thread!) and forwarded it to the dev, alongside some other issues.

    I don't have an ETA on a fix, but they are aware of the issue.

    horrible stutter about every 5 seconds, otherwise constant 60fps under vsync, can't play like this. No other game does this :eek:hwell:

    i5 2550k
    GTX 670
    8gb ram
    120gb corsair ssd
    realtek onboard sound
    win 7 64

    no logitech equipment of any kind

    I have two GTX Titans (which I bought primarily in anticipation of Metro Last Light, because I really loved Metro2033 and wanted to play MLL at its best in 3Dvision). The stuttering is too annoying to play, so I've had to put the game away, hoping that a fix will eventually come along :/
