    Well steam classifies it as DLC, and as it is downloadable content, I guess it's not that far off :confused:

    Yeah, they probably just took the expansions and split them up as digital downloadable content on Steam. It makes sense, now that you've said it. :) I still prefer full-on expansions. Relic made some awesome expansions for Dawn of War.

    Dawn of War is amazing. I love the entire series and the expansions they have are better than just Starcraft expansions. We get extra races to play while Starcraft offers a few extra units.

    To me it depends entirely on the company, the game, and the DLC type.
    I love big story DLC like for Fallout and TES and Bethesda does a very good job of giving you your moneys worth, except with Dragonborn for Skyrim, I just think it was a little too short.
    However I am not a big fan of paying for DLC that is nothing more than different skins or new multiplayer maps. Which Halo, Battlefield, and COD are known for. But that may just be because I'm more of a story geek than multiplayer gamer.

    Bethesda does what we old schoolers call expansion packs, not dlc :p
    but I miss the diablo 2 days where they were even bigger, practically whole new games :D

    Well for a multiplayer game map packs are an expansion. What do you pay for in an expansion? More land and that's what you get. BF3 gives you new weapons, achievements, maps and challanges. Also new gamemodes.

    I would debate that. They have done expansions, sure, but they also do more traditional DLC, especially in recent years, with the fallout franchise.

    I once got all DLC for TES3: Morrowind. It was great.

    I once got all DLC for TES4: Oblivion. It was great.

    I once got all DLC for TES5: Skyrim. It was great.

    I once got all DLC for Fallout 3. It was great.

    I once got all DLC for Fallout: New Vegas. It was great.

    I once got all DLC for Mass Effect. It was great.

    I once got all DLC for Mass Effect 2. It was great.

    I once got all DLC for Borderlands. It was great.

    I once got all DLC for Borderlands 2. It was great.

    I once got all DLC for Battlefield: BC2. It was great.

    I once got all DLC for Battlefield 3. It was great.

    I have more examples.

    Make your choices carefully people, these DLCs are all optional.

    NV DLC was better then the main game, in the end. Same with 3 and Battlefield 3.

    The first,last and only DLC i've ever bought were F.E.A.R. 2 Reborn,Alan Wake's The Signal and The Writer and Rage's The Scorchers.Maybe i'll buy some other DLC's in the future only if they enhance the story of the main game.
