    Now if you were a 'believer', you would be rewarded in 'the afterlife'.. :D Oh well. i feel for you, a few months ago i lost 6 hours i will never get back watching the unbelievable pile of crap known as The Girl with the dragon tattoo / hornets nest / played with fire trilogy... the acting wasnt bad, but reality and plot go completely out the window by the end. Utter shite.

    Rose Red

    Better than I remember! Very campy, fairly decent performances and excellent atmosphere. Sadly, I didn't find it particularly scary and with a running time of approximately 4 hours, I don't think I will be rewatching it regularly. Still, I very much enjoyed it and recommend watching it at least once.

    I watched Outpost: The Black Sun
    Pretty good for a b-movie, authentic weapons and average acting. I've seen worse, but still a poorly composed, stereotypical movie with no morale.

    Just saw Les Miserables recently. It was fantastic! Everyone was well cast and the whole movie was great.

    Frankenweenie

    Saw the original short back when I bought The Nightmare Before Christmas dvd and adored it! So I had particularly high expectations for the remake and the good news is that I absolutely loved every minute of the first hour. But sadly, near the end, the plot got out of control. The last 15 minutes aren't necessarily bad, they're just a bit weak compared to what the movie built up during the first 60 minutes.
    I fell in love with Burton's movies ever since I saw Beetlejuice as a child and while he did make a terrible movie or two (or three), this isn't one of them. I very much enjoyed it!

    Ooh nice to see frankienweniee is great. Shoukd be comming on tv in a month or so. I loved the nightmare before christmas as well.

    Saw The Dark Knight Rises on Blu-ray. Gotta say, the movie looks absolutely brilliant. A perfect example of the advantages of this format. Stunning quality, great sound and just overall looks brilliant. However, the film itself is very disappointing.

    After Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and Inception, I have come to expect more from Nolan. The hype, the high expectations, the shitty political elements (with blatant anti-occupy propaganda) and tons of plot-holes nearly ruined Rises for me. It's still a decent film and was mostly entertaining to watch, but it could have been so much more.
