I've seen Battle Royale when I was a kid once, but I don't remember much other than it was a bit bloody. I just remember that I was probably around 7 years old at that time and my older brother insisted that we watch it.

Is that out already? o_O Was it good? I'm actually considering the possibility that this movie might be good enough to be worth my time and money to watch it at cinema.

Never heard about it, but I know there's a mod for Arma2: DayZ and for Arma3, called Battle Royale.

My friend had told me it was, in his words, "awesome," and that I had to watch it. We were suppose to watch it over at his house using his Netflix account, but Netflix had decided to remove the movie for some reason; so he decided to show me a really weird scene from the movie on his laptop.... it was weird . It was the part where Bronson is walking through the prison halls and ends up in the insane ward -I think that's where he walked into- and sees a inmate taking a crap in his own hand and then stares at it... with amazement! Then the guy decides to paint his face with his own feces as if it was war paint!

The last movie that I watched was 3:10 to Yuma. It was a western movie with Russell Crowe -the bad guy- and Christian Bale -the good guy. Pretty cool movie.

That's the remake. :p I haven't seen that one, but I've watched the original. It's a nice film and I like westerns in general - though fairly typical for the American type. I prefer spaghetti westerns, in all honesty.

I knew that the movie was based on a short story, but I didn’t know that there had already been a movie done about it.
I've only watched no more than seven of the spaghetti westerns, the majority of them having Clint Eastwood star in them, all of them which I liked. I think I see why you prefer the Italian Westerns to the American Westerns –which for the same I do too- but I can’t really explain it. It’s like how it’s been said here on the forums before, by you actually, just applied to the spaghetti westerns instead:
Have you ever played the old western FPS, Outlaws? :)

I'm hoping that the sentinels are as cool as when they're in the comicbooks.

The sentinels were cool, but you of course end up disliking them because of what their purpose is. I love how Tyrion (GoT) is the one who designed them though

Bishop only played a side-role for a few short moments, but still, he was there. :D

The one from 1997? I have not played it unfortunately, but I've heard of it and really like the look of it.

That's a shame, he is a pretty cool character.

What other purpose can they serve but hunting and destroying mutants!!?

Yeah, that one. It plays like the original Doom games and has a very good soudtrack that adds to the events happening in the story.

Just watched Fast and Furious 6 and it was mediocre at best. It featured very little racing, and the racing that was present was completely over the top. There were a lot of plotholes and the unimpressive acting just made the unrealism too much. In the end it was very difficult to actually feel anything in the video. Now that I think about it, the movie is typical Bollywood-style.
EDIT: It might be that the movie is in fact ironic and an attempt to parodize modern action movies. If that is the case, it was not advertised clearly enough for me to laugh about it.

    World War Z
What a great movie. I remember when the trailers of World War Z first appeared in theaters -and after viewing them myself- I thought that it was going to be an over the top, Michael Bay, stupid sort of film, with zombies. I was wrong. Just watch the movie, you guys. You might have heard the entire negative reviews that it got, and that it was unrealistic -then again, when has zombies, as we know it today, realistic? But people still like them- but just ignore all that and listen to me. Watch the movie and you won't regret it.

Just got around to watching Lone Survivor. Read the original book a few years ago in High School.

Was pretty good. They did a pretty fantastic job with fight choreography, and the mountain shoot-out was pretty much spot-on. Too bad they kind of had to cut out and rework the last half of the book or so, new ending was a tad heavy on the "'Murica" theme, though I suppose it's not too bad for a war movie.

Fight choreography in general was pretty solid. It's surprising it took us this long to get a solid film where characters appropriately reload and manage equipment.

Watched 'All is lost' which is about one man being stranded at sea as his luxury sailboat sinks. I don't think there was a single word in the whole movie which was interesting I guess... I enjoyed watching it.

I'm laughing here just thinking about it . An excellent, exaggerated way of playing soccer, comedy movie. This one is one to watch.

I just saw two movies, a day apart, so I'll list both, even though the one before last was not the last movie I watched.

The two movies were City of Ember and Bounty Killer. They are both post-apocalyptic movies that were pretty good. City of Ember takes place in an underground city and something happens that puts the entire city in jeopardy. It kind of follows the main quest in Fallout 1 -just no raiders an going to the outside. It's a kids' movie, but it still very entertaining.

Bounty Killer takes place after the "Great Corporate Wars" where all the major companies started World War III for a stupid reason. This one still has its action, but it's more centralized around comedy. I had a fun time watching it.
