Well, I'm not actually done watching it, but "Defiance". I think cerberus brought it up some time ago, so when amazon gave me a 30-day free "LOVEFiLM"-membership, I decided to watch it. It's pretty good so far, but I still think it portrays the jews as just as bad as the nazis. (If you have watched it, note that I'm only 30 minutes in the movie)

I watched Looper. Saw it last night in theaters, it was awesome!

I enjoy sci-fi films so this was my cup of tea.

Plot: Year is 2040, time travel is invented in 2070 and is outlawed. The mafia uses time travel to dispose of bodies because in the future its impossible to dispose of a human body(they don't say why, something about tracking humans, probably implants).
10% of the population has evolved, giving them telekinetic ability.
The main character is a looper, an assassin hired by the 2070 mob to kill and dispose of bodies sent back to 2040.
Watch the trailer ! Highly recommended!

I've seen that too! Also just a few days ago! :D It was great, though I think it should have ended at SPOILER!!! the part where Joe shoots himself in the chest. END OF SPOILER I think that would have given the audience much more to think about and it wouldn't feel as cheesy with the positive stuff added onto the end just because it's Hollywood. ;) But the movie I watched most recently (yesterday) is actually Red Desert. A good old film from the sixties - very artistic, but also unconventional.

Oh, I've seen this one as well. It's pretty good, but wasn't anything extraordinary for me.

I saw the trailer and the people inside it remind me of those weird tribe guys in King Kong ;)

    The Score

Fairly entertaining and tense heist flick with very little to no violence and excellent performances throughout. However, the soundtrack is distractingly terrible and almost ruins all action scenes. Also worth noting is that this was Marlon Brando's last feature film but sadly both his character and performance are very forgettable.

^ Incidentally, I watched the first half of Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket again last night. After the phenomenal build-up that is the first half, I think the second half is very weak and I quickly lose interest every time I get to that point.

Watched some old crappy James Bond movie last night. Most of the time I was bored, and when I wasn't bored, I was either looking at strange women or literally laughing out loud, haha.

Used to be quite fond of my father's Bond tapes as a child. Which one was it, Skaara?

Don't know the name of it, and I didn't see the whole movie to be honest. But there were two guys who looked exactly like each other, and Bond killed the wrong one, cause the other one was appareantly mr. Whyte or something. Then they gassed him unconcious and had the construction-site builders bury him in a pipe, which he then got out of ._.

That's Diamonds are Forever, if memory serves me right.

    Were these the villains?

    The Fog (1980)

I knew there was something so shamelessly familiar about Alan Wake... Anyway, I haven't seen this one since my early teens! A very dated but still very thrilling and enthralling horror classic.

I loved The Fog when I was younger - it was a scary movie for me at the time; would love to see it again. :)
