Our country has freetrade argreements with China and India I think, I dont really know to be honest, but I dont support freetrade, I think imported items of commercial value should be taxed (Cars, food, Clothing)

 

If i rerember correctly Marxist-leninisim (the hard core lot) dont like free trade because of the fact that it helps the "Capitilist/Imperialist west" and if free trade is so bad why is NATO and (i think it Australasia i could be wrong) still standing after the cold war (assumeing you are old enough to rerember it)

 

mate, the only reason why NATO and Western Country's were still standing after the cold war is because of their aggressive tactics forced USSR/WARSAW into overspending on Military. And if you think historic they had a pretty shit military force leading upto WWII, and subsistent major losses were made when Germany invaded, of course they would be thinking that the Western'ers who had presented a dislike for the USSR would be the next to attack, so spending was increased causing lack of food and other aspects to be missing, causing deaths that were because of NATO/Western argression.

Now, see the Americans also overspent on Military, but the key difference is that they overspend but keep on rising their dept celling so while USSR ran out of money, American pretended they still had heaps of money (You can see this by comparing dept figures of Russia vs. America)

But back onto freetrade, it does help Globalization and removal of Localization, and Localization is key to communism, and having a positive economy.
