    Actually Odessa, Ubisoft isnt that much of a Western company. If I remember correctly AC Revelations was made by Ubisoft Singapore. They have branch studios all over the world, some of which Im sure have to be in Eastern Europe.

    Watch Dogs is a Ubi published game and looks stunning. With the Steam box looking to take a slice of the console market there will be a shift to how people game.

    If THQ loses Metro: Last Light, why wouldn't 4A Games still develop it but under a different publisher? THQ does not own 4A and it wouldn't make sense for a new publisher to hand the game over to a different studio so late in development. THQ only owns the publishing rights to Last Light and probably the Metro franchise in the games industry too.

    @Bamul

    The problem is not developing under a new publisher, the problem is the publisher itself, like Ubisoft with their bad pc ports, or EA with their habit to "milk" franchises and close studios, and other things that both of theses publishers do, like on-disk DLC, publishing unfinished games, day-one DLC etc.

    @Thestalker

    That would be awesome, but I highly doubt this is going to happen, Valve is a small studio, and I don't think they're interested in any of the franchises on sale

    I know that, that wasn't the point of my comment. :p Btw, Valve is a small studio in terms of number of employees, but it's not small in any other meaning of the world. They have tons of money, player support and they're coming out with their own console soon. I wouldn't call that small. Even so, I wouldn't want any company to buy 4A Games. I'd prefer it if they remained independent for as long as possible. However, I wouldn't mind Valve buying the publishing rights for Metro: Last Light.

    Oh well, sorry then :p
    And when I said that Valve is a small studio, I was talking about the number of employees, as you stated, they rule up to 70% of the pc market, and that's pretty big, and I must say, kind worrying

    It's quite scary how much influence Valve has over people, whether it be through Steam, Half-Life, Portal and many of their other games.

    I think EA would handle the metro in a better way, ubi doesn't have a particular interest in the metro or pc games, but that's just what I think
