To old to play Minecraft?

Never too old to play. My aunt is 65 and retired and plays for hours at a time everyday. You are only as old as you let yourself be. I'm gonna be playing games when I am 90.

I feel you man, but I think playing games has no age limit really. Just because you're at a certain period in your life that doesn't mean you're too old to play games, it's just that you're not that interested anymore in them.

 

No one is old to play Minecraft. And no one is old to play a game. Everyone is allowed to play a game.

 

I never understand it when people deem a game too old to play. The act of gaming has no age restriction. If you have the ability to play a game and it brings you joy, then by all means, play it. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise.

Mind you, games with age-to-maturity restrictions that have a PG13 or an M rating has to be taken with a grain of salt. I believe that games like that is primarily on how children are brought up. If children are taught how to think, rather than what to think, then playing those sort of games shouldn't be a big problem. Good parenting doesn't start at restricting children, but enabling them.

 

If you look at the ages of all the youtubers. They are at least 22 years of age. A game is a game. I am almost 24 years old and I go into my neopets once in a while to see if they ever die and if they are alive I would use my lab ray on them.

 

In my opinion 22 is still a great age to play Minecraft. This game isnt only for childs of course.

 

After seeing grown men like "Captain Sparkelz" and "Skyplaysminecraft" play it, I don't really think you can set the bar for being too old to play minecraft.

 

CaptainSparklez and SkyDoesMinecraft aren't really that old to be honest, they are about the average age for YouTube gamers.

If you were maybe 70 and played Minecraft that would be quite creepy lmao :'D

 

I personally do not think there is an age limit on minecraft. I know 30 year old men that still play, its just a hobby, better then gambling or something

 

Minecraft does start to get a bit too childish for some people but that's their opinion there might be a 80 year old that like minecraft! It doesn't matter upon their age!

 

Minecraft definitely doesn't have an age restriction. It's amazing in that it appeals to all age groups for different reasons. For example the computer scientist that built a working computer IN GAME. It's absolutely amazing what you can do and you can always challenge yourself.

 

Too old? I am 40 years old and I use the game. I don't play it as a video game, however. I use it as a tool to make computer models. My son is nine and he plays the survival mode most of the time. I think that age is irrelevant, because people will play it in their own way.

 

I don't think there's an age limit for Minecraft. You see some Youtubers who are well over 30 and are still playing the game. The game is so much fun! There's no limit to what you can do!

 

I agree with you Burt. My son adores the "how-to" and webisodes of Minecraft on YouTube. I have watched a few as well, if it's something that piques my interest, such as great detail in a house or other structure. Just from the voice you can tell it is not a teenager or young adult that is describing to you how he built the roof. Honestly, I don't think young people would have the patience for such things.

 

You are never too old to play minecraft! You may think it is a game for kids and has many childish aspects, but the creative aspect makes it good for all ages. It can be very complicated when you talk about redstone for example, proving it can be played by adults.

 

I personally think that as long as you're having fun, you shouldn't give in to what others think. I personally wouldn't find it weird if I saw a 22 year old playing Minecraft. It's a video game!

 

You're never too old to play anything! Well, almost anything. The game is so open that anyone from any age can find a form of entertainment in this wonderful game.

 

Minecraft is definitely a game for everyone. What does it matter if you're too old to play a game, as long as you're having fun then go for it.

 

I don't think this game has inherently some age restrictions (hell, most videogames can be enjoyed by literally everyone in my opinion). I think everyone can enjoy this game, just the "how" you enjoy it is different.
