Too All Fans.........LL is going to be HORRIBLE

As long as you aren't doing a BF3 or Resident Evil 6 and changing your target audience which compromises the game then it's all good.

Manual Filter changes YAY!

 

Why were we misled about the filter issue? Something on THQ's end, or was it changed?

I assume you mean the E3 2012 playthrough, when picking up filters visibly just added to the total air supply. This was a temporary work-around, as we were still making adjustments to the filter change system. I think I said as much in some interviews at the time. So the intention was not to mislead!

Either way, I have a feeling the game is going to be really good. I however, hope the Mutliplayer is co-op missions/horde mode, as me and my fellow friend are really hoping for something we can do together when we play.

 

Ah i'm glad that manual filter change is back. When I asked Joe about the filters though he said "FILTERS: The gameplay videos from E3 show a new mechanic where picking up filters adds to the amount of time you have clean air when using your gas mask. This is probably not going to change back to the old mechanic of changing the filters; but this mechanic hasn't been finalized and the dev team is looking at multiple ways to set this up in game."

I'm happy you have cleared the matter up with us now though.

I also love the amount of support we get, on a lot of forums these days the fans are left to guess and work out what's happening with the game but the Metro forums are just great.

 

I'd like if they brings back knife and granades slots :/

They said "Metro will brings back the old memories of half-life!" Honestly the demo showed at e3 was more like call of duty than HL...

 

The E3 demo from last year was more like Call of Duty but in this years gameplay video it looks a lot more Metro like. I think they may have said it's like Half Life because they both have a cult fan base.

 

jesus I suffered through this guy's FIRST totally negative and crappy attitude filled post in an effort to hear him out (eventhough his tone completely and totally turned me off...) Next time do us all a favor and learn to voice your opinion without sounding like a complete troll.

However when I saw his 2nd post I just couldn't bring myself to read ANOTHER 15,000 words of god knows what. Dude you have waaaaaay too much time on your hands. At the end of the day, it's a video game

 

Thanks for clearing it up Huw, I'm also very happy the old mechanic will be resurfacing in Last Light.
