uh.... how do I check how much ammo I have left on ranger?

Well, I can understand the inconvenience of not being able to remember how many bullets you have in the field, but at least you could write down the total at a market and keep a mental tally/written tally to get you through.

Ok, so I'm playing on Ranger (not Hardcore). In the first level when you get to test the guns I could check the ammo count by pressing the weapons inventory menu (tab) but then it disappeared. Later in the level when you escape from the nazis, the counter comes back when putting on the uniform. So I thought, the counter only shows up when wearing armor or something. But as soon as the level changes, the counter disappears again.

Definitely seems like an unintentional bug, hopefully we'll get a patch. =P

Maybe even a cool little feature to manually check our ammo. ^__^

It would be cool if it was like Condemned where your character actually checks his pistol clip to see how much ammo he has.

But there is no way to check the ammo, not even manually. You don't know how much ammo you get when you loot stuff as a result you can't even count the bullets manually.

And yet we know exactly how many MGRs we have. I currently have 399...=_=

Then keep an estimation. *shrugs* I understand the frustration, but to say that you can never know an *estimation* of how many rounds you have is just wrong.

All we can do is hope that either A) a patch comes to fix it, or B) hope they add an even immersive little mechanic to manually check ammo.

Besides, as already stated, you can keep count once you get to a market.
