    Apparently there are 6 difficulties:
    Easy (very easy)
Normal (can be though at some points)
    Hard (yea....)
    Very Hard (ffs....)
Dante Must Die (more or less as close to impossible as you can)
Heaven or Hell (never got there ;_; )

I've only played DMC 3 and 4, but the first time I saw DMC was on a promotional Demo DvD that came with my PS2, wich had a few demos on games (such as Dark Cloud), but it also had alot of videos with it. One of those was a trailer for DMC 1. :D

    PS.
Apparently ever mob dies on one hit in Heaven or Hell mode....

Yeah, I don't know if I'll ever reach those levels! :) So, what do you think of DMC5?

Another underrated game which I discovered last night: The Outfit. This game is AWESOME! Seriously epic multiplayer, very strategic but also very playable!

I have no idea of what to say about DMC5! I would like to say that "Dante" is nothing like him as far as I see, but I really hope they'r gonna make him better before the game comes out.
Oh btw, Capcom will have a Livetream of the game (soon actually!) here; http://sv.twitch.tv/capcomunity

And another underrated game: Dark Clouds. Never seen a game with a similiar type of gameplay as that one! (except the "prequel" from the same company).

Yeah, I'm not sure what I think of DMC5 either... in ways, it looks like there have been improvements, but then I think back to the original DMC (1), and it has changed hugely over the years... But here's hoping!

Dark Cloud + Dark Chronicle: excellent games, but I couldn't figure some of it out, and it was pretty hard!

Yea, I actually had a whole bunch of papers that was helping me with how the weapon system worked, what they evolved into, all the bosses weaknesses etc.
Also how to get though most of the lvls but man I still havent seen any other game with the same type of gameplay :(

also, I found this on youtube:

Have you played the Special Edition of DMC3? You get to play as Vergil. :D I hope the HD pack comes with it. Is it actually coming out to consoles? I have all three on PS2 anyway, but it would be nice with epic graphics.

Also, have you played Bayonetta? I think (think, not sure) that it was made by the same director or something as DMC, but I find the gameplay is actually much smoother and more responsive. You can dodge at any time, and cancel moves in mid-action to do something else. I can't stand games where you start a move, and then change your mind, but the animation continues for 3-4 seconds, and so you get wasted or die.

Yea they have the special edition in the HD pack, and yes I have played it too ;)
but I dont quite like vergil as much as dante. Sure getting a new style was nice, but it wasnt as fun as Dante, due to his varities of combinations (guns, style and Sword).

And yea those who made bayonetta is the same guy who came up with DMC, and it's probably the same team (I guess it because of how similiar they are in graphics etc), but I havent played it. Felt kinda weird just by watching it also imo.
The last thing with the dodge etc. : I would think of it as the challenge to master ther DMC, becuase you need to do the right thing at the right moment otherwise your dead xD

Would you care to elaborate, or just leave this as is?

^ Thuner: Yep, true about the challenge. But, weird as Bayonetta looks, you should play it. You could probably clock it within a week, so maybe hire it (dunno if that's an NZ thing, hiring games from video-rental places?)

And yet another underrated game: Jericho.

I only got it today, five years after it's release, mainly because it was developed by MercurySteam, another hero-developer of mine. Many reviews are quite negative, but I find it very scary, very innovative, and incredibly story-driven. It's much much scarier than FEAR or FEAR 2 (which I was playing just the night before), and the unique abilites of the seven-man (woman) squad are amazing. True, there are one or two things they might have done a little better, such as squad commands. But overall, a very playable, very enjoyable horror game.

Man, that game looks pretty funny. I don't think it's on Xbox, otherwise I would have tried it out long ago. :) What's it like?

Two games with great and unique stories, but truly terrible terrible graphics: Deadly Premonition, and NIER.
