    Oculus rift is really cool but can make some people sick and has some problems. it's a great concept but needs more polishing.

    Sometimes I'm starting to wonder whether the people raving about how cool VR tech would be for these games have actually ever used any. It can be pretty disorienting. Can you imagine falling off of a cliff or getting set on fire by lava in VR? It's crazy. You actually have fear and anxiety responses to these types of games. It's an interesting concept but not nearly as fun as you would think in real life.

    If I was going to choose a game world to walk around in with virtual reality, it certainly wouldn't be Minecraft! I would want graphics at least as good as World of Warcraft. Otherwise it would be like walking into the holodeck with a cartoon running!

    Sounds pretty cool. But Minecraft is pretty cool itself because it's a separate place from reality. You can do much more there than you can in reality, such as flying and building ANYTHING you want!

    I think it would be really cool to see VR in minecraft. In a game like this, running through the land in virtual reality would be amazing. Meeting with the cows and chickens would take a whole new level. :D

    That would be completely awesome. Even if those companies developed them without Minecraft I would definitely buy it. It would remind me of spy kids or something. I've always wanted to be in that kind of a world.

    I'm not sure if it'll be that fun. Of course it'll be fun at first, just as most virtual reality games will be, but I think it'll fall off really fast.

    Exactly. Virtual Reality without other senses involved (sight/hearing) is just a gimmick that a lot of people get tired of after awhile.

    I don't have an oculus rift console so I don't have any authority to speak on this matter but it seems really cool to play minecraft in 3-D. Like I said, I have no experience so I cannot speak on this matter without being biased whatsoever. I really want one so I can try riding a roller coaster.

    I think it is totally doable with oculus rift. I don't know if it would make it anymore interesting though.

    Virtual reality would be a great addition to Minecraft because of all of the things that you could do. I think TNT or falling off a mountain would be a bit sketchy though. :/

    That would be awesome! Imagine being in the minecraft world building your own house and searching for materials, that must be a great feeling. Maybe Microsoft will fund it.

    I think they are already funding! Just wait and watch. The VR (Virtual Reality) version will be really awesome.

    Virtual Reality is going to come to a lot of games, and Minecraft will not be excluded off that list. I can't wait to see the endless possibilities the developers have with Oculus and Minecraft.

    I am just waiting for it just like any other member. Well, that would be the most amazing experience when I will first put the VR glasses. It would be an amazing experience.

    Possibilities are there but we need to wait for the developers. Rumors say that it's going to be released soon but I don't think so. I think we should wait till any official news from the developers.

    Well, all the developers are working on Virtual Reality. Do you think that the Microsoft will take the step? Do you have any news and updates on this subject?

    I can't wait for gen 2 builder games and VR...minecraft graphics are so far behind what's out there with technology, but the because the rigs are so expensive, the games don't get developed because the market is too small for the budget needed, sad :(

    That's great news and it's very possible! Since Microsoft is already behind it, it's just a matter of time until we'll be literally inside of our minecraft houses.
