    It already is free to play. You need to purchase a game but you don't need a paid subscription to play it.

    Well I guess needing to buy the game up front means it isn't technically free to play. Having no membership fees is pretty close though in my opinion.

    Yeah yiu have to buy it but once bought yiu no longer need to pay anything more.mitbhasnt made me start again though tbh because I am not interested in the game anymore haha

    I've played it on both and I definitely prefer the PC version. Updates are easier to manage, you can use all sorts of mods and I find that the controls are easier to use on the computer.
