Dead Space 2 on Zealot difficulty. It's not hardcore, but it's pretty damn hard. And let's not forget that I play it with the volume up and all the lights off for maximum scares.

How is Dead Space 2 overall? I played the first one and thought it was a very good (although very unoriginal) game, but I still haven't got around to getting the sequel.

Indeed, I heard Dark Souls is easier than Demon's Souls (probably due to the checkpoint system and more polished combat), but better in almost every other aspect. I am planning to get Dark Souls shortly after I finish Demon's Souls. :)

Dead Space 1 is easily better in many regards, but that doesn't mean Dead Space 2 is a bad game. Dead Space 1 was tougher, and scarier in a different way as compared to its sequel, allow me to elaborate.

In Dead Space 1, you begin the game on a small ship destined for the "Ishimura". You're thrust into this claustrophobic environment with an unknown enemy and you're constantly surrounded.

In Dead Space 2, however, you're a little more experienced. You know to shoot for the limbs. You know about necromorphs. You're basically a veteran. It really takes away from the "scare factor" and the only times I was truly scared was the fist time playing through when there were jump scares.

Hope this helps. I recommend picking it up, obviously. Good gameplay, decent plot, but it's in no way better than the first.

Well, it is easier if there is a feature that can be abused in order to remove challenge. :p Btw, have you played both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls?
Sounds good, thanks for telling me about it. :)

Sometimes I wish the game had some more open areas just so the Seeker Rifle would be more proficient. I thought it was a very cool weapon.

Contact beam for me :D it's so fucking powerful. Although I did enjoy the Seeker Rifle on occasion but like you said, there weren't a lot of areas where it could be put to good use.

Playing Dark Souls at the moment. I take advantage of every glitch I can, I think the difficulty condones that! :p

    Batman: Arkham City (GOTY Edition)

Phenomenal. The beginning is a bit messy but once you're free to roam the city, the game opens up beautifully. It's very hard for me to put the controller down because the game is so enthralling. I'm also very pleased to see that the developers bothered to design a few puzzles for the player to solve in order to obtain the Riddler trophies.

See that game reminds me of Assassin's creed and I don't really like Assassin's creed.

Black ops 2's campaign was quite fun, it's like an Hollywood movie with to much explosions and a rushing story, but sometimes that's exactly what I want.

Darn they fired Paul Denni? He was fantastic. That cartoon was awesome and I watched it all the time. Too bad.

Edit: Oh yeah. I am currently playing Far Cry 3. I has a great open world singleplayer. The multiplayer is so-so, a lot like CoD, but with slight teamplay aspects. But it does have a mapmaker, and the good ones (if they are rated by the community) eventually become official maps (bronze=new map, silver=best of silver, gold=official map found in regular playlists).
