What are you currently playing?

Some time back I've been considering buying Mafia2, but I've never really had any chances to look at trailers, so I just decided not to.

Meanwhile, I've been playing GTA IV, and I'm so in live with the Mafia that I've been dressing up as a Mafia in the game and driving only mafia-like cars, but it just doesn't work out properly. There are some moments in the game's story where you do jobs for the mafia, but it just doesn't work out because it's way too gangster-like.

Then I realized two days ago that there's a free Demo in steam for Mafia2, so I installed and played that....
I was like "THIS IS SO FRIGGEN AWESOME, WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THIS?!?!?"
It is a little similar to GTA IV, just much better. The graphics are way better, and the characters are way more life-like. Their eyes move around, the cinematics almost look like real video clips!
And last but not least, it's 100% based on the Mafia. I immediately knew I wanted this game, before I even finished the demo, and I yelled crazily out loud in excitement over how awesome it was. I almost wanted to just quit the demo in the middle of it to go and buy the game. It was that good. Never the less, I finished the demo and went to buy it. It's been done installing since yesterday, but I've been playing HL2RP all day long for two or three days now because we've gotten rid of our old leader and server-owner. We now run our own server without having to be bossed and ranted around by him.

Either way, I'm gonna go play Mafia2 now, so excited!!

From metacritic= This is nothing like Metro 2033 was.Why make a sequel if you have 2 ending? sigh...And the graphics is nothing killzone 3 was better.For me Metro is ended with 2033

 

I only play a few games these days...didn't know how to use a computer until my late teens so I've always been a more outdoors sort of person, but the weather has been too awful to go out lately.

Been sitting at home playing Sniper Elite V2 and getting cabin fever.

 

I got The Last Of Us a week ago, and have been playing it obsessively since then.

Can't wait to get the limited edition strategy guide, so I can read about the game when I'm not playing it, lol. :dance:

And it's set in the year 2033, lol, that's so cool.

Best. Game. EVER.

I played Mafia2 twelve hours straight until I completed it, without taking breaks except eating and going to the toilet. It was getting late and I was getting tired, but oh man I couldn't stop, I just had to finish the game. It was amazing, it was everything I wished it to be and much much more! It's not overkill with rocket launchers and helicopters like GTA is, it's the good old-fashioned typical Italian Mafia with a good realism to it unlike GTA. Its car-functions, fighting-mechanisms and weapon-functions were very similar to GTA IV, only a few notches better! Better graphics too, which played a big role in this amazing game. And the story, beautiful beautiful beautiful! If you're into the Mafia, you'll absolutely love this game. If not, you're probably better off with GTA IV. But this game, gets a 10/10 from me, as an absolute fan of the oldfashioned Italian Mafia. I can't wait for Mafia3, I'm so excited!

well i rebought Prototype 2 and yeah its good

 

Reinstalling CoP for Misery 2.0...as I assume all of you should be doing the same. It comes out in a mere 2 days

 

I have bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC, its a very good game, but i hate that there is no fast travel (spend like 20 minutes to go back to trader to sell some stuff) and i don't like the aiming, no matter how good you are at fps games, you'll suck at this one . Also I'm playing Garry's Mod, it's super fun, but i hate the fact that is full of smartass kids and bit older #SWAG dimwits.

 

Sorry for taking so long to reply Keegan. I've been having quite a bit of Internet trouble and have barley began to catch up here on the forums :sorry:. Anyway, I've never played quake before (I know, hard to believe) so I didn't know that the last boss looked like a Strogg until know. By the way, how did you like Rage?

As for games that I'm playing: Stalker SOC 2nd play through, Bio forge (really old DOS game that's complicated as hell), Metro LL 2nd play through, Bio Shock, and Doom 2.

Fallout: New Vegas, I'm going to load one of my favorite file's that's toward the end of the game and go on an absolute killing spree.(Evil laugh.)

 

Oblivion Lost series for SoC, not sure what the latest installment is. The last version I used was from 2010 and it was a beast. I may reinstall that as well now that I think about it.

Clear Sky Complete is a beast revamp of Clear Sky, and Misery is really the best and most revolutionized mod for Call of Pripyat. I'd even go as far as to say that Misery is the best mod available out of any for all three games in the series. It makes the game much, much more replayable.

 

I once had a killing spree with the alien blaster :O You can kill _EVERYONE

 

I fallout 3, I am quite literally god. I have that perk that let's out a nuclear blast when you get down to..... 25 health I think? I took out all of the BOS, rivet city, megaton, and every other town/camp. Didn't die once.

True, you can kill everyone (except important characters), but there is always Faux who can take about ten hits from the blaster before dying and there is also the hillbillies from point look out who wear nothing but a tank top and can take two hits. That there, is no fun.

 

i found the experimental MIRV fuck ja!!!! 8 mini nukes at once hahahahahhahahahahahah
