What are you currently playing?

Our HL2RP server just reached 22 players!
It's not a lot compared to Lemonpunch, who've supposedly had 80 players at some point.
But either the server is very official and popular with 30+ players, or the server is a little more private community with maximum 12 players or so. And no matter how organized your admin-team is, no matter how organized your forums are, no matter how serious and organized item-sharing in-game is, it's very difficult to cross that line of about ten players. And you can go on like that for months.

Yet our server is fairly new, barely a month old. We started with five or six players at the usual, we don't have an organized admin-team at all, hey we don't even have forums! And we hand out guns here and there, and we don't throw many events, yet people keep coming. Yet we had 22 players at a point

Some of the admins and some of the whining players are wanting to become more organized with this and that and add stricter general rules and do something about some admins who are disliked by many others etc. etc. I'd usually agree with straightening up, but for once it feels like it will mean the doom of our playerbase to do so

 

I just finished Grand Theft Auto IV.

 

The Waiting Game.........

My wireless network device suddenly decided not to detect our home network router. So I decided to simply just reinstall Windows7 all over, it was needed either way; too much stuff on my PC. Cleaned out all the dust thoroughly while I was at it as well So now I'm pretty much just waiting for my games to finish installing...

 

Tomb Raider, I don't get the crap that this game got, yes it might not be exactly like everyone remembered Tomb Raider so clearly people don't like change, I think it was a really good reboot and sweet mother, it was pretty damn brutal

 

Same here.At first i was put off by some obviously borrowed elements from Uncharted, but now i'm finding it highly enjoyable and fun and i'm even on my second playthrough. There are some jawdroping parts that are PLANE awesome It's definately not Lara i remember,but it's Lara i never knew i might like. I'm looking forward the sequel where we can HOPEFULLY have some more AND real tombs and pyramids to explore (the only thing i missed in this reboot).

I'm also playing Anniversary (while patiently waiting for the tower dlc ) and enjoying it even more.

I'm very tired of Skyrim (Although it is true that I haven't gotten any of the DLCs). What bugs me a little bit is the fact that there still is a shitload more quests to do and stuff to get and perhaps some places to discover, but it's just getting so repetitive, and the fighting mechanisms aren't exactly very spectacular.
It's one of the greatest games I've ever played though, I give it that

Our Half-Life2 Roleplay server had 24 players, which is the maximum ammount the server can take, for about an hour. Hadn't it been for that limit, we'd probably get close to thirty players. Considering it's a pure slow-paced roleplaying game, 24 players is a lot.

 

You do realize you'll NEVER finish skyrim right? The majority of the minor quests are randomly generated .

 

There has to be a point in Skyrim where you finish all the minor quests so quickly that when you do, there is a brief period of time in which there is absolutely nothing to do in the world except stand there because you finished the quest so quickly that the game is trying to catch up and resurrect more quest. So I guess in theory, Skyrim is possible to finish. I wouldn't know though cause I've never played it.

anyway i have just sat down to play the new Tomb raider for the next 6 days till GTA5 comes out, i haven't come to a conclusion on Tomb raider yet though

 

Played it, beat it(Main story line.), joined damn nigh almost every faction in one play through, and glitched my way to the highest level.

I spent so many hours mining ore for my weapons and armor along with trying to find deadra hearts so I could craft a F-ton of deadra equipment.

It was fun though.
