well, a newcomer to thief, from what I've seen, it looks good but I do fall for graphics very easily

  3. TES Online. Now that the beta is over I'll go play Thief the CD-key for which I won in some forum giveaway.

    But look whom I found:

Can't wait 'til The Elder Scrolls Online comes out! :D
I've always loved Skyrim, but eventually it feels pretty lonely. Just imagine how much much more enjoyable it would be when playing it alongside with someone, and perhaps even against someone.

A friend of mine made me install Warframe. It looked fancy, and it's F2P, so why not?
The gameplay is a little simple and repetitive. It's not really that broad, if you understand what I'm trying to say.
One thing I give the developers credit for, is that the game really tempts you to buy in-game currency with real money so that you can get cool stuff. It's a very shiny and fancy MMO game where you really want to be the one looking most badass and most awesome. But gaining and crafting items like weapons and armors and different classes, takes a loooot of time of repetitive gameplaying, so the only quick solution is to just buy the in-game currency. And daaaaaaamn, that currency is expensive!
Otherwise, it's a pretty cool game and definitely worth a try :)

Other than that, I played some Arma2 DayZ yesterday from 1 AM to 4 AM, after drinking three big beers, a glass of wine and a tequila shot with an empty stomach at a wedding-party. I kind of just wanted to lie down in bed, but my friend wanted me to play DayZ with him while chatting with mic over Skype. Daaamn, I had a good time playing DayZ halfdrunk with my best friend at Skype! :D

I've tried out a bit of Warframe. I've got to give it credit for being so well optimized on PC (even my HD4k can run it on high settings) while looking as good as it does, but it just feels kinda unorganized. Most matches I join into, it's not really clear what the objectives are; sometimes it seems like random waypoints pop up that lead me nowhere, and most games are just usually me and 3 other guys just running around everywhere like crazy. It's definitely got some cool ideas and a lot of depth, but for such a fast-paced game, it has a surprisingly hard time keeping my attention.

So this previous weekend I after an amusingly long period of negligence got around to playing Dead Island: Riptide with a couple of friend. Now I don't know if you have somehow covered the game on this and/or analogous threads, and, candidly, I do not care too much. Personal opinions and whatnot. (Now that I think about it, you most probably have)
Nevertheless, we sat around for a rather extended period of time without considering the aforementioned time at all. Now my impression of Riptide was pretty much that of it's predecessor in the following ways: It is an outstanding pile of silt on an old dirt road after the rainfall of the decades, outstanding in solely the point that I, and none of my abovementioned friends, for that matter, experienced any necessarily game breaking bugs. This, along with the friends, made a game where evrything is a joke, and you still manage to get at least somewhat interested in what is happening around you.
Graphics are barely sufficient and gameplay is only enduring in the same ludicrous manner as the bugs, but in the end it boils together well, if one is able to let it cool a bit before scooping it into your desirous mouth.

Now I've seen and heard many complain about how one cannot play in the siltpond by one's own company at all, and to that I will only state that I made it through the first installment, thoroughly enjoying myself all along, and the follow-up is only better, as far as I'm conserned.

Also; Warframe. I will crow a bit, and say that I played that game almost a full year ago now. I do not recall too much, other than the fact that I was overwhelmed with all the flashy things to let anything else make as much as a vague impression. I might need to reexamine that one.

I'm generally pretty turned off by JRPG's, but Child of Light caught my eye, what with it being made by Ubisoft of all companies. Put down the $15, spent the whole day (read: 11 and a half hours according to Uplay) playing through it. It takes a bit getting used to the whole "Fairy Tale" style of things, but once you do, it's a really beautiful game. Definitely got my money's worth out of it.

A friend of mine had me download Toribash and play it with him. It's free, it's quick to download and install, and it's a lot of fun. It's a 3-D modelled simulator (or w/e you call it), where you simply are one character versus another. You have a specific ammount of time to move limbs in whatever direction you want, and when the time limit has passed, your movement will happen for a specific ammount of time before the whole matrix-fight is paused and you can alter your limbs again. It's pretty cool, and when you get skilled enough eventually, you can make some really awesome moves :D

Rin's was my favorite, definitely an emotional rollercoaster ride. That and Hanako's seem to be the most well liked.

Also going through all of the Halo campaigns again on Legendary with a friend. Interesting to see how well some of them hold up in split screen; I can definitely understand why it's becoming less and less appealing to developers to implement.
