I've begun playing Battlefield 2 online now, It's pretty great! I'm alright at it, nothing to boast about. I've been playing about three hours a day when I get home, and my little finger is sore after using the sprint and Ctrl keys so often :(. I play either as a sniper or a medic. And I'm surprised to see how many people still play the game (considering it's ten years old). Not all the servers gert filled up -actually most of them are empty- but you can find a few good servers with great maps, and 50+ players on them. It has become my new obsession.

Playing some FarCry 4 with a trainer applied :p
I can't help but think that's how it was meant to be played. The last two games have been completely over the top and extreme, and to fully enjoy such games you need to do just action movie stuff, and the trainer helps with that. No skill required :p
The satisfaction of just takedowning a bunch of soldiers before just auto-firing the elephant gun from close range at any survivors (due to a no reload trainer) is just overwhelming.

I have a lot of things to play and not really much time to do so. First things first:
    I should finish theese games:
-Metro 2033 Redux ( I am not in that mood right now - currently my plan is that when i finis this and the next point I start a LL Redux campign playthrough)
-Metro Last Light Redux Spartan Ranger DLC
    -Thief
    -Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
-The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (I don't even know why I am not playing this one o_O)
-The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings
    -Dark Souls 2

    What I play now:
    -Injustice: Gods Among Us
-Arma 3 (right now I try to learn this whole game)

Homefront looks good. They're apparently making another one.

I quit playing Battlefeild 2, completely -singlplayer and multiplayer. It was taking over me! I found it very fun the first two weeks of playing it, but then it got repetitive and there were not as many people playing on the servers as when I first joined. Only a few times did I ever experience intense battles. And a lot of time, servers would say that they were almost full of players, but when you scrolled down the list to see who was playing, there were only a few players, on each side, actually involved in the game -the rest were like spambots. Their names would pop up on the active-members list, but, in game, nobody was there.

If anybody ever decides to play Battlefield 2, though, let me know and I'll install it again so that we could frag some people.

Back when I joined this forum, I assumed that all the members were hardcore fans of the Stalker games... I was disappointed to learn that not only most of the active users (at least back then) had never tried Stalker, but even fewer had read the Metro 2033 books or even just the first one! :p I don't hold anything against anyone who still hasn't tried any of this, I'm just saying it seemed like common sense to me back then and that's how most of the Polish Metro fans are as far as I'm aware.

After a very long time, I've finally finished playing Duke Nukem Forever -the latest installment of the franchise. What a piece of garbage. I had such high hopes for it, but unfortunately, not even my lowest of expectations were met. The outdoor scenery was very bland (even the Duke Nukem 3D backgrounds, from 1997, were better) and it was hard to believe that it took them 10 years to make something so plain. There were some places that looked great, but it was either too dark to notice without using the horrible, blue-tinted night vision goggles, or the section was just too short to enjoy. I've seen some early DNF trailers, which were released back in 1999 and 2001, that showed better visuals, gameplay, and locations than the actual final product.

The combat in DNF sucked, the jokes sucked, the aliens sucked, and even Duke Nukem's voice sucked. I did not enjoy one single part of the actual game, except for one part where you could play a few arcade games, on the side, when you visit the strip club. That's sad to say that the arcade games, which have nothing to do with story progression, were actually better than the actual game itself. I was truly disapointed with the game and I'm happy that I finished it so I don't have ever play it again! Really, if you ever plan on playing DNF, just watch the opening movie that appears before the game's main menu. After that, go ahead and do something else, as I just saved you hours of your life.

    1/10: two thumbs down

There is a mod out there that the Duke Nukem fanbase community has made to look like the early variations of the game (using the Duke Nukem 3D Build Engine) and it apparently way better than this shitty 2011 release. I'm looking forward to playing it and I will let you guys know if it's any good.;)

Considering I can't play any action-oriented games like FPS or anything like that, with my broken hand, I've gone back to the dark corners of Half Life 2 Roleplay in Garry's Mod. I quit it a while back because It was driving me crazy just like The Ring turned Smeagol from a hobbit into what he is in the movies. I don't want to play HL2RP again because I'm afraid I might fall into that pit of addiction again, but at the same time I just sometimes feel like I have to play it because it's the only thing I can play. Luckily, the two servers I've played at so far haven't been very exciting, and let's hope it stays that way. Just two and a half weeks remaining.

Also, I reeeeeeeeeeally want to play Chivalry. Again.

Thank you! They need to burn all existing copies of that game. It's an insult to the franchise.
I know how you feel . Being addicted to online gaming is the most horrible feeling, ever! You stay up late doing stuff (and it's not even productive game stuff) just waiting until something major happens, but it never does. Then, when you tell yourself, "ahh, screw this game," something exciting happens that make you change your mind about the game and you decide to stick with it just a little bit longer. It's basically an endless loop that is hard to break out of and you end up loosing a lot of sleep over it (at least with me).

Those are some of the reasons why I tend to steer clear of MMOs... because once you find a decent one and you start playing, it's hard to stop.

Just started playing through Dragon Age 2 again earlier today, in anticipation of probably getting Dragon Age Inquisition sometime next week if I can be bothered. And what I just knew would happen, happened. I got hooked into this game again, mostly for the characters... well mostly Anders ... while some of the other characters can just gtfo for a little while... :D. But bloody hell I love BioWare games. Only games I've ever played where I actually give a shit about the characters. I've managed to pull myself away and I'm trying to think of something else to play now so that I don't get too attached to DA again :twitch:...
