:heh: Well, heck, I'm playing Payday:The Heist. I was just going to adjust some game settings and test the game out on my computer; but, what was initially a test-run to see how the game would perform, turned out to be a two-hour gaming session. The gameplay is fun, and that's just playing with AI teammates -so I can just imagine how amazing the game would be if a couple of friends joined in. It's also very difficult -depending what setting you put it on, of course- so it covers the spectrum from newb to veteran gamers very well. I haven't completed the first heist because it's that difficult when it's at your skill level; but even after all the times I've repeated the same actions for the first mission, it remains fun.

I find it very entertaining. It's like one of those movies where the bad guys come in and rob a place (at least from what I've seen from the first mission) and all the police and swat are surrounding the building. The cool thing is, you play the bad guys. I actually wouldn't mind if they were to make a movie off of this (and the masks are pretty badass). From what very little I've played, I can't wait to see what's next and, also, very tempted to purchase the second game.

I'm playing Far Cry 3 :D I just really love the location and scenery. It reminds me a lot of an Arma 2 DayZ Map called Lingor island, which I loved a lot. Only this is way more linear and action-packed, but at the same time it's also open-world and explorable :D

Alien: Isolation... and I can't get away from it. This game and the family stuff I've been doing recently have been keeping me away from the forum.

^ That game is awesome. Though I found the Alien to be more annoying than anything. A real b*tch to avoid/get away from in some areas, too.

I'm taking a break from Dragon Age 2 and playing The Witcher for a couple of days. I'm in the mood for some serious monster-slaying right now. DA 2 and The Witcher 1&2 are all I feel interested in lately. Anything else just feels... meh...

Well, Sony supports their handhelds only a little bit better than Microsoft supports their own hardware.

I got Far Cry 4 for Christmas and will be giving it a shot soon. Looks fun, but since it seems like they haven't fixed the issue with the majority of the game parking itself on one core, I'm hoping that it doesn't just outright violate my FX 6300.

Far Cry 4 doesn't look that great in my opinion. It just looks like a re-skin of FC3 with some new features and a somewhat different story. I'll probably get it in two or three years once it's heavily discounted.

Well, I still playing MGS V: GZ. Lot of ppl calling it a demo, but I don't really think so. I spent with it a good 21 hours and I still want to play it. I think this is the best stealth game which is released recently. You just can't imagine how I hyped for The Phantom Pain. I watched every video a lot of times in the past few days. Als I wanted to mention that when it is came out it was a special day for me. One of the most specialed in fact, I did not played an MGS game since 10 years. So yeah, I really love it. I plan to buy some MGS stuff in the future.

    Dragon age: Inquisition.
Well, I feel wierd about this game. Don't get me wrong, I love it, in fact this is the second best Bioware stuff I have ever played. Lot of things to do. It will be a good warm up for The Witcher 3 which is my one of the most waited game right now.

I am also playing Just Cause 2 occasionally. It is that game, when you play it you have a purest fun. I love it, even if the AI is dumb as ass. I going to replace it with GTA 5 thought. I so love this game because of the freedom and the beautyfull setting.

Although the main mission for Ground Zeroes is very short, it does have plenty of potential for tons of replayability. It's up to the player really, so I agree. My brother put about 17 hours into it already as well.

Borrowed Infamous: Second Son from a friend of mine. I got bored pretty quick of the first game, but man, this game is so fucking great.

The combat is incredibly fluid and gives you countless options, especially once you unlock more powers. The characters are great. The visuals are way better than they should be; there are a few rough models and textures, but it's hard to tell behind some of the most gorgeous particle effects I've seen. The thing looks insanely good in motion, and the closeup models in the in-engine rendered cutscenes are pretty damn detailed. The framerate even comes uncapped by default, and hits around 60 a good bit of the time when you're not looking at a ton of buildings or in a big firefight. I believe that the more recent Killzone game also does this, and I hope it becomes a mainstay in more console games in the future.

It's one of the more fun and better-looking games I've played in a while, surprisingly enough. After a year with an entire catalogue of disappointing open-world games, it's nice to finally play one that does things right.

And I do plan to play Ground Zeroes at some point, but I still really need to finish MGS3. And watch a playthrough of MGS4. And also while I'm at it, play TWD Season 2, Bioshock Infinite Burial at Sea, Witcher 2, Brothers - A Tale of Two Songs, MGS Revengeance... man, I have a lot of games on backlog.

Started playing PlanetSide 2 with friends today and it was pretty damn fun to mess around in squad of three. There are obvious similarities to the Battlefield series, but it's not identical; it's on a much larger and less polished scale - so overall it's different enough to feel fresh. The microtransactions also don't have as much of a real impact on the game as they seem to at first.

I just started to play occasionally Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine Multiplayer once again. Back in time, I played it dialy, but I got bored with it after 100 hours. But now, I had great fun with it once again. I love both the co-op, and the versus mode. Too bad that this game didn't got as much post release content as should. But we will have Eternal Crusade and I will able to play it soon. There will be an early accses soon, but I have bought a founder pack way back.

Okay, I decided to give Assassin's Creed Unity another chance today, 'cause I really want to like it. So i tried. I tried, I promise, I tried my best. This time, it started lagging again just as bad as it had done before I updated my video card driver(s). I still tried, and I somehow actually managed to sneak past the guards undetected, assassinate the guy, and then sneak past them again. Just when I was about to climb the final wall to freedom, I managed to walk onto some tipper-over chair or something, and my character's legs went down into the ground, all the way up to above the middle of the calf. No way to move, at all. Completely stuck, I tried everything.

Then I gathered my patience enough to actually manage to look around in the menu and find "revert to last checkpoint". This time it lagged even more, and yet I tried. This time, the lag made me unable to walk undetected past the guards, so when I ran past them and sat down inside the confession-booth where I'm supposed to kill the target silently, my character automatically went out of the booth because they knew I was there and they were coming for me. Fair enough, but apparently the game didn't like that, so it sent me down through the ground completely, making me fall endlessly far down into the abyss of below the map. Oh well, at least I got 50 Creed Points for "Vanishing" ;)

Dying Light is to be released in nine days and I can't wait!! :D When I have played and finished that, I will go over to GTA V, which I've happened to pre-order in steam. It is finally out for PC, after waiting for so damn long. I've got high expectations to this, and I'm reeeally looking forward to it. But until then, I guess it's back to good ol' Chivalry. Now there's a game I don't get tired of.

You just finished playing the poster-child for why to not preorder games. Please don't.

Also, two things about the game itself: Try lowering texture settings to see if it solves the occasional hitching and whatnot. Also, what CPU do you have? The last couple of messy launches from Ubisoft had issues with excessive CPU and VRAM requirements.

@ Skaara: First ....second, You're going to love me. Third, you're going to hate me, just a tad. Well, being my hobo-self, I decided to look up, just randomly, "AC:Unity Set Affinity"....Does, uh, "Set Affinity" sound familiar. No? Well it should !! I made a post about it concerning the Stalker games months back (it was also, on a thread, where I promised to show you how to overclock you CPU, but I didn't, so all is forgiven...right?:sorry:). Anyway, here's the link to the thread, but, unfortunately, the forum monster ate my valuable photos from the thread -so you're going to have to just go by text as I don't want to be having to printscreen, re-size, and upload a bunch of photos to show how to do it, again. But, yes, I looked up this fix for AC and it too, apparently, will boost your framerate.

Anyway, on the tutorial, I state to look for the XR_3DA.exe process. Since this is for AC:Unity, you'll need to look for the equivalent for AC. Since I don't own AC, I don't know what that the name of the application would be, but, it should be the same as the .exe you use to play the game.

Example: ACunity.exe or Unity:exe or AC.exe. Good luck, and I hope this fix boost your frame-rate.
