What are you currently playing?

I'm 15-100 and I will remain this way forever. I do heists for the heists, not the money or XP.

Eventually I assume everyone will do the same once they reach the level they are comfortable with. Guess that would be 5-100, to get all the bonuses for skill trees.

 

Of course, you can say that, since you've earned all those under the old system, but it kinda sucks when you've only recently reached first infamy and have to start over with all your skills gone using this shitty new one. At that moment, XP still matters. Also, this is something that was implemented earlier but it also annoys me: the armoured trucks. On some heists, such as the usual bank robbery, they make things disproportionately difficult if you want to go loud and all the quickest ways of taking them out are stuck behind a paywall. I prefer to do things stealthily anyway, but going loud is nice every once in a while.

 

Shadow Raid was always more of a money kind of job than XP, but it is a shame that it didn't get the same XP buff.

To be fair though, most heists were already pretty unbalanced, this just shifted the balance a bit. From what I understand, you can even level up a bit faster now.

 

Perhaps, but my main point is that it seems as though they've actually reduced the amount of choice you have if you're aiming to level up. So, although you may be able to level faster now, you have to stick to even fewer heists to make the most of it.

 

Old or new is irrelevant. There was never much of a choice. There is always that one mission that gives a ton of XP, money or both.

When I was leveling up it was watchdogs. Then it was Hoxton breakout. Just find it or google it and farm it.

 

I disagree, as like I said there is even less choice now. Farming is boring, but all my friends play the game more often than me so I have to do it every now and then to catch up so we can play together. The more diversity I can have in that, the better.

 

I've been playing Assassin's Creed: Rogue on ps3. Somehow I didn't even know it existed until the other day, and I loved Black Flag so was pretty damn pleased to hear about Rogue. Got the Collector's Edition to go with my Black Flag CE, though I really shouldn't be wasting any more money on ps3 stuff. It's depressing enough knowing that everything I have is basically worthless and I'll never play about 40 of my 44 games again, so I certainly shouldn't keep piling on more, but I couldn't not get more Assassin's Creed pirate-y action. I'm liking the game a lot, but I do miss the open water of the Black Flag map.

Yeah, same. And there have always been one or two ideal maps to farm XP. It used to be Rats Proverkill, Hoxton Breakout was the most recent one. If there are more than one or two decent heists to level up with, then the balance has tremendously improved.

Crap, it's a shame I did not see this post. I spent practically all my free time reading for the past two days. I finish college next week, but unfortunately I still have exams in June and they're spaced out so that they take up 10 days. I plan to really start preparing for them by the end of next week, so maybe we'll be able to do something before that.

His moves really suck.

 

No, it's an NPC. You can summon him earlier in the game and he can take out a boss alone. In fact he can take out pretty much any boss alone. Infinite spells, ridiculous amount of hit points, can't be stun locked.

He bugs out if you bum rush him though because he is programmed to make a gesture and you don't let him. This is how it usually goes:

And you gain XP for his kills? Thus, allowing you to maintain your stature or skill level during multiplayer, like you had mentioned earlier on some thread?

 

You don't really get XP, you get a currency called souls that you can use both to level up and purchase/upgrade your armor, weapons and spells.

You could summon real players too, they would get half of what you get. If a boss gives you 10000 souls when defeated, then you will get 10000 and your summon will get 5000. Obviously NPCs don't really care about that.

A friend of mine persuaded me to download GTA5 again, because "they have released a ton of updates". All sixty gigabytes of it.

It still doesn't fucking work. What a piece of shit.

How do I remove games from my library permanently? Google doesn't know. I don't give a crap about refunds or whatever, I just want it gone.

EDIT: Found a way to just hide it from the list. 35 hours worth of frustration.
