Ask around, most of the Fallout population (not just the casuals) will agree that Fallout 3 was better. I respect that you prefer New Vegas, but saying "most fans" is a little.. you know. Wrong.

The game was filled with easter eggs and a goddamn giant, commie-killing robot. I don't think it was too serious.

  2. Fallout 3 was amazing from the artistic standpoint. They got EVERYTHING in that area right. Aesthetics, technology, the world looking like the future imagined in the 50s.

Everything else sucked. Especially general combat and gunplay.

Played HAWX 2, really didn't like it compared to the first. But whatever.

It's okay, Modern Warfare 3 really isn't that bad of a game. It's just the same thing as Modern Warfare 1 & 2, two games that I really played the hell out of. So I don't play the third installment often.

Anyone got Assassins creed 3 for pc? I started it and finished it in 1 day, it was awesome, but the ending... really, really disappointing.

Playing Dishonored which was a bargain £10 from Amazon and redeemed on Steam.

There seems to be increase in stealth type games recently but Last Light will be my favourite of course. I just hope that it's a reasonable price as THQ are pissing people of already with Company of Heroes 2 with day 1 dlc and £40 price tag.

Oh, I know Fallout 3 is by far the more popular game. But I was referring to fans of the original games (1, 2 and Tactics for those who liked it), that's why I said "waiting for". :p

Finally got around to try Fallout 3 GOTY Edition (x360). I'm only three hours in so there's not much I can say except for the fact that it runs very, very smoothly compared to New Vegas. However, I think I may have run into a glitch of some kind: an optional objective instructed me to loot some bloke's drug stash in the Water Treatment Plant, which I already did, but for some reason the objective hasn't been marked as completed. Odd...

It's not a glitch, Bethesda just didn't think it was necessary to put smaller mini-missions into the Pipboy. This was in going along with their "17 Big Ass Quest" methodology. I can think of a few others that are like the one you're experiencing, such as fixing the bursts in the water pipes in Megaton for the guy who works at the water treatment plant. (After helping him I tend to slay him for his jumpsuit )

Yes I played New Vegas at my cousins house and with all the patches they released I still find it a little rough. Gameplay isn't smooth at all and I find the story in Fallout 3 better. Also I don't like how Las Vegas was spared. Las Vegas holds so many people so it would have been on the top 10 targets during a nuclear war so Las Vegas should have never been spared. Also your guy was shot in the head. Even if he would have survived he wouldn't be normal. He would have been mentally ill. I find everything about New Vegas stupid. Other than the iron sights.

Personally, I loved New Vegas' story, no matter how quirky and illogical it was. It's just that even with the 16mb patch, not a single play session went smoothly. Had two major corrupted save issues and I lost a great deal of progress because of it. And two or three times everyone, and I do mean everyone, turned hostile at some point for no science damn reason. New Vegas is a great game but it's also a broken piece o' shite.

I already fixed the leaks but I think you are refering to the unmarked quests. This one's actually displayed on the Pip-Boy (it's an optional objective for The Power of Atom). The box hasn't been ticked and the arrow keeps pointing me to the guy's stash even though it's completely empty and there's nothing left to loot.

Did you restart your game? Turn your Xbox on then off. I know in Dead Island sometimes if you set a waypoint and then track a quest it sometimes doesn't show the path to get to the quest and you would have to quit the game then restart it.

I stand corrected, Sir. That does sound rather glitch-worthy, then. I'm sure once you finish the quest it won't be a bother any longer?

Same goes for the PC version (patched version though, obviously).
