What are your main goals in Minecraft?

My goal expands from simply surviving into being as advanced as possible (surviving easier). This might include building large things but usually it is just using more automation and better techniques.

 

I'm a rolepaying nomad survivor.

I start out in the middle of nowhere, I pick a direction and just start walking. I take everything useful with me along the way. I might settle down for a while, but I'll eventually leave the home I make for greener pastures. A village as well as a farm might make me stay for longer but in the end I know I'll just end up leaving one day.

 

Sometimes I like building huge, complicated buildings, but usually it's just fun to explore with my friends and find interesting items!

 

No such thing as main goals in Minecraft. But I suppose if there was any goal it would be to have fun!

 

I have always wanted to do this. I have tried to build structures under water before and just sucked at it due to there because so much water. You are gonna have to post a picture when you are finished.

 

My main goal is to socialize with people i got to know on servers and mainly pvp and lead factions/castles. That kept me busy for over 3 years now. Time flies when playing minecraft

 

To build something so amazing that i can look at it and almost burst into tears because its so beautiful.

 

Ooh, I really like this idea! I usually do big castles with automated farming underground, but the idea of building a city with districts sounds really neat. Building has never been my strong suit in Minecraft, so it might give me a nice challenge.

I once tried this, but my goal was to build my city. I didn't get very far

I took a long break from the game, during which a lot of new things (potions, the dragon, etc.) were introduced. I think my next world's goal will be to figure that stuff out and get to the End. Not beat the dragon necessarily, that's not really my thing, just get there.

Usually my goals are to hoard as much stuff as possible, build a really big castle with underground storage, farming, and mining, and explore as much of the land as possible. I tend to get bored with worlds pretty fast doing that though. As I said before, I think I'll give the district thing and getting to the End a shot, maybe it'll help jumpstart my interest in the game again.

 

In singleplayer mode, my main goal is gathering the most resources, having all the best armour and such, and a big complex home or castle. But on multiplayer my main goal is to create a town with an active community.

 

My main goal would be to build an epic empire with lots of farms and automated Redstone mechanisms such as blaze exp farms etc. And also, to get the better possible enchanted gear and thereafter eradicate the ender dragon.

 

The number one goal for me is to find diamonds! But when I first start out the game, I usually go for shelter first, as well as some armor and resources. Eventually, I make my way up to food farms and EXP farms. By then, I should be able to start mining, and start hunting for diamonds. Once I have diamonds, I tend to aim for stronger EXP farms, like a Blaze EXP farm, or even an Enderman EXP farm in The End realm. There's not really one specific goal that I have personally. I usually aim for many goals at once because aiming for only one goal can make the game really boring.

 

My main goal is to build an awesome house and world around it. It would be utterly awesome to build a big city.

 

There isn't really a main goal of Minecraft, well maybe kill the ender dragon but what happens after that? We have an infinite world to do anything we would like. I would definitely make a large metropolis or mega creation before finally leaving my world.

 

My main goal for Minecraft has always been to build an awesome as contraption made out of redstone. Another goal I wish I could accomplish is the ability to code and create a mod.

 

My main goal is to create that others can't.

 

My goal when I start a new world is to have an awesome house. Maybe a mansion, maybe a treehouse so on and so fourth. I also want to achieve my long term goal of making a town in my world. Houses and such, villagers, stores and pets. All that good stuff.

 

@What are your main goals in Minecraft?
My one main goal throughout all of minecraft, is to complete "The Monument".

 

When I play it's an escape for me so I try not to have any goals to keep myself from getting stressed. I play on survival though so I do have to have a goal of staying alive. Besides that I just do whatever I want and try to build cool buildings to hang out in. It's fun to start building a town and then to keep adding to it which is generally what I end up doing when I play.

 

I don't think I've ever really had a goal. Mostly, I start off just trying to get a stable base, where I can live happily and comfortably. Then I begin building all sorts of things. I once built a whole city. It was pretty neat.
