    You can get wood by punching a tree.

    Just kidding. I study computer and information science and I've found redstone is quite usefull for building different gates (not, and, nand, or etc.) and fun at the same time. I love minecraft, because only limit it has is your creativity. You can almost build everything you want.

    Well, there aren't a lot of things that you can learn from Minecraft since it's a game made for fun. It's good for children that want to spend their time doing something creative.

    There's plenty of pixel art patterns out there that you can learn basic spriting with creative mode with.

    Yeah, I've learned pixel art is amazing things, and high scale high resolution masterpiece pixel art can draw in streamers on twitch over the 20k+ mark. Not a bad haul for designing stuff.

    I definitely think problem solving is a huge learning experience in the game. Children and teens are constantly having to solve problems, such as lava, avoiding mobs, and several other issues while adventuring in the game. They also learn to use their creativity and to also realize that everything requires hard work and how easily it can be taken away.
